Thanks for listening! Let us hear from you. Are you in recovery or want to be?
Born late in life to your mother. To a father who didn’t even want you, you were told AND you never met. Your much older sisters had children nearly your age. You grew up poor and unclean. Yet, something inside of you felt…like you didn’t belong. Even to the point you swore you were adopted in the 5th grade. You weren’t though. That was the truth. Jo grew up just like that and from there things spiraled until she found recovery. Let her tell her from her own mouth what it was like, what happened, and the blessings and blessing she is to many today! It’s an amazing story!

However we’re ready to help discuss third parties inserting themselves into the family unit, identifying narcissists (not just calling everyone one) and waving red flags, as well as the psychological effects on targets and children during parental alienation. If you’re wondering, let us help break it down for you!

How many is too much? Do you know? Melissa had no idea at a very early age and was fortunate to have been given the gift of sobriety. For 25 years she helped and held on to her recovery until SHE couldn’t anymore. Her “plan” was to drink for a week…which ultimately turned into 5 years. Her relapse brought on by narcissistic abuse, almost killed her-literally. 14 treatment centers later, a whole lot of love and clawing her way back, she now has almost 2 years. Listen as she drops pearls about what she learned from her relapse and the importance of her sobriety today.

FINALLY!!! First and foremost, much gratitude to Stacia Morris and YOU (our listeners and viewers) for being so patient and kind during my time of learning “editing”… It’s been, well, frustrating, time consuming, and a test of my patience. BUT, that’s how we learn, RIGHT? Anywho…much gratitude…
The definition of incarceration is the act of confining, or the state of being confined; imprisonment. Prior to recovery, we are already incarcerated internally; in our minds. Stacia Morris shares her story about growing up fast, jumping from one situation to another, addiction, domestic violence, being a workaholic, Mother, then, BOOM! There it is. Physical incarceration at its finest. Even a blended, supportive family couldn’t save or stop her…

Do you ever wonder how the elements of your childhood have shaped the decisions of your adulthood? Such as choosing your partner(s)? Natalie Forchuk joins us and reflects on her life journey and how she was never able to stand up for herself or say no. Holley and Natalie break this down as they examine the aftermath of parental alienation. Unfortunately one never seems to witness it happening because they are completely confused WHILE it’s happening. Only in hindsight does one see the strategic plan that was laid out. By then it’s too late and your child(ren) is/are gone. Crazy. Normal parents or families wouldn’t do this to a child or parent. We discuss the confusion, the torture, the heartbreak, the betrayal, the anger, all of it. Join us as we try and help explain the complexity of what targeted parents endure.
