Even though I had the thought of buying this place, when I went to America I told our wis om teacher Dr. William Joseph and his wife, Pushparani, “I have a vision. I need 108 acres. When I obtain these 108 acres, along with the necessary materials and the right people, I will be able to offer peace and harmony to this world.” They asked, “Guruji, when you were in America you spoke of this. Why don’t you bring it into action? What do you need to make it happen?” I said, “Resources.”
“If we provide the resources, will you do it?”
“Yes, I will.”
“How much money do you need?”
“This much.”
“When do you need it?”
“Now.”
“There are certain procedures for starting a foundation—market rules and regulations.” Immediately everything was arranged.
When a noble thought arises, the divine energy travels somewhere and brings the right person to support it. That is why they offered their help for this good intention. For that, I remain deeply grateful to the people of Malaysia. May they always prosper. Because here we have established a point that can offer peace to the entire world. They dedicated it to the Guru without any conditions. What kind of love is this? Their generosity is what one calls true charity. You may be great in many ways, but when you choose a good public cause, its benefits multiply many times. That is why I say this to all wealthy people: when a great tree grows, beneath it grass, herbs, shrubs, and vines all begin to flourish. Wealthy ones—are you lesser than a tree? If a tree can nurture so many forms of life beneath it, why should those blessed with abundance not uplift many others? Why should they not work for the elevation of many lives? From this sacred land, a new renaissance will arise again for the world and for the cosmos. The structures needed for this are already taking shape. People ask, “Will it rain in Margazhi?” Some say it won’t. But during every penance we perform, rain always comes. When the ritual is completed and we step inside, the rain surely arrives. This year too, it has come. The union of politics and spirituality is destined to happen in 1995. You will witness it with your own eyes. Next, our MP mentioned the word “Santhosham.” This is a North Indian word. It should not be forced into Tamil. To my beloved children I say: do not confine us within a language, a race, or a nation. We work for humanity—not only for humanity but for all living beings. Our International Silver Triangle Association plays an important role in protecting the environment. Because we cut down trees, we suffer without rain. Without rain, there is no grass, and without grass, cattle starve. So let us create a healthy environment, receive good rains, protect the fertility of the soil, and ensure abundant harvests. Let us reach a state where no crop withers, where Tamil Nadu, Bharat, and the whole world flourish. May all living beings everywhere live in joy.
I offer my blessings and good wishes: May Tamil Nadu and Bharat produce leaders capable of guiding the world. May noble thoughts spread in their minds. May love reach them. May they stand as protectors of truth. May they offer peace and harmony to the world and receive joy in return. May the whole world attain happiness.
Let the words spoken by our elders—who realized that true joy lies in making everyone live joyfully—spread across the world.

Why should I meditate inside this pyramid? In ancient times, great rishis, saints, and prophets practiced profound austerities in remote, silent places far away from human disturbance. From that inner discipline arose noble teachings for humanity.
What are these “good teachings”? Ultimately, it is just one thing: a good thought. If a human being develops a noble thought, everything else that is negative naturally falls away.
When a pure thought arises in the mind, qualities like peace, harmony, patience, tolerance, and the spirit of sacrifice arise effortlessly. That is why we say: cultivate noble thoughts. For the world to function harmoniously, everyone must become a person of good thoughts.
If even ten people in a village possess such noble thinking, the entire village will transform.
Therefore, mothers who have given birth to these divine children of courage and wisdom—send me a few. I will not only transform this Bharata Bhoomi but the entire world into a divine realm.
Long ago, the one whom I accepted mentally as my Guru—Swami Vivekananda—asked for a hundred men and women of selfless courage and clarity. “Send them to me,” he said, “and I will uplift the world.”
To fulfill those words, after completing this fire-sacrifice (agni-velvi), I aim to bring peace and harmony not only to this earthly world but beyond.
There are not just the worlds we commonly imagine—this physical world, the other world, heaven—but seven realms in total, culminating in the realm of Truth (Satya Loka).
It is said that through this practice, one can send waves of thought across all these worlds and even to the vast expanse of the cosmos.

By the year 1999, nuclear weapons and war machinery must inevitably be reduced and transformed into industries that serve humanity. Human intelligence today is moving toward destruction. This very intelligence must be transformed into good intelligence. That is why we call upon the “wise people of the world.” O noble thinkers of the world! Come, understand this truth. To those engaged in nuclear research: Use the fruits of your research to discover inventions that will benefit all of humanity.
To political leaders: Before the food you eat reaches your mouth, pause for a moment and reflect—Is this same food available to all the people under your governance? Eat with the noble intention: “May this food be available to every person I rule over.” If every leader in every seat of power aligns their thoughts, words, and actions with this intention, that nation will surely prosper.
Our respected Members of Parliament requested that we offer our greetings to our beloved leader, the revolutionary sister, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The purpose of spiritualists is this: Leaders who guide millions and crores of people must flourish. If they flourish, the people flourish—as the king goes, so go the subjects.
Even before we began this sacred ritual, we offered blessings not only to Tamil Nadu, not only to India, but to all the leaders of the world. May all political leaders enjoy a life free from illness and attain abundant wealth.
For it is due to lack of wealth that many engage in various pursuits to acquire more. So let them all attain abundant wealth. More importantly, let them attain abundant contentment. For even if a person has a crore, they say it is not enough. Therefore, may they gain a mind filled with contentment. Wherever they go, may the people grant them honor, respect, and dignity. With this intention we sit for this sacred ritual, and with the same intention we conclude it as well.

Nature’s upheavals remind us how fragile life is, even for advanced nations like Japan. Instead of dwelling on suffering, we must unite humanity. We are all born from the same divine source. Let us dissolve divisions of caste, religion, race, language, and nationality, and usher in a new era of unity—the Satya Yuga.
Those who live in this age are blessed, and our mission is to help everyone live with dignity, prosperity, and joy. Through human resource development and global cooperation, we aim to uplift all people.
True progress comes not from blind faith but from self-confidence and discernment. A Guru’s role is not to be believed blindly but to awaken your own intelligence. Trust your abilities, seek blessings, and walk your path with conviction.
Education is the key to eradicating ignorance. Every child deserves the chance to learn. If other nations can provide quality education, so can we. The Arivoli Movement exists to spread knowledge, but it needs the support of every educated person.
Teach those around you. When knowledge spreads, relationships deepen, and society heals. Let us look beyond external differences and recognize the unity of all souls. Even a few awakened individuals can bring happiness to the entire world.

Extra Sensory Perception, or ESP, is a subtle form of inner perception. This subtle awareness exists within every human being. But we do not know how to strengthen it, refine it, or use it in the right way.
Those who have learned to awaken and use this inner perception have risen to become great individuals: noble souls, sages, artists, mystics, scholars, and scientists.
That is why I felt a deep purpose to reveal this hidden treasure to the world. Why has this knowledge remained concealed? Traditionally, this wisdom was given to those who sincerely sought truth, dharma, and a higher way of living.
People ask, “How do we reach God? What happens after death? Is there rebirth? Is there heaven and hell?”
But who truly needs these questions answered first? What about a person who struggles even to find food? Do they need discussions about heaven and hell? No. For someone who is struggling, food, clothing, and shelter are the immediate blessings they need.
What meaning does a divine state have to someone who is starving? When that person receives food, clothing, and a place to live, that itself becomes a blessing from the Divine.
This training in inner perception is therefore not meant only for those who are spiritually advanced or privileged. Its purpose is to cultivate noble thinking in ordinary people, help them live harmoniously with society, prevent them from doing wrong, and awaken moral clarity within them whenever they are tempted to take the wrong path.
Even those who work hard throughout the day and return home exhausted can benefit from this inner training. It is meant for everyone.
What is this power within us?
It is what we call divine power, soul power, and creative energy. In ancient times, it was through this inner power that this land became extraordinary. From this land, spiritual wisdom and knowledge spread across the world.
But due to various circumstances, people gradually lost this divine stature. Though they were born on this soil of wisdom, disunity, attachment to titles and positions, and the intoxication of power weakened their inner strength.
That is why, even though our nation possesses everything necessary for self sufficiency, we still witness hunger and poverty.
We are living through such circumstances today. Therefore, our first responsibility is to uplift our nation.
From this Bharata Bhoomi arose a vision of immortality, divinity, truth, peace, and joy for the entire world. This vision was expressed not only by the ancient seers of this land but also echoed by prophets from the West thousands of years ago.
The time has now arrived.
The time has come for this inner wisdom to awaken once again, for individuals to rise above division and selfishness, and for the divine potential within humanity to express itself.
When the individual awakens, society transforms. When society transforms, the nation rises. And when the nation rises with truth, peace, and compassion, it can once again offer a path of harmony to the world.

Today, many people keep calling themselves “poor” and repeatedly think of themselves that way. But they are not truly poor. Whatever you think, you eventually become. If I keep saying, “I am poor,” I remain poor. If I think, “I am wealthy,” then surely life will open the path for that wealth to reach me.
One who seeks to see God eventually becomes God. How did we discover this divine state? Beyond the three bodies, beyond even the vast darkness, when we crossed the physical body, the subtle body, and the intellect, we saw the Divine Light. Beyond that Light, we perceived the sound of Om. Crossing even that, we reached the state of all-pervading awareness — the state where remembrance exists everywhere. Going beyond even thought, we reached the courage of simply “I am.”
This “I” is not the ego. It is not the body-bound identity. As the Bhagavad Gita says: “I am present in all beings — in plants, in the moving and unmoving, in the living and the seemingly lifeless.” If you ask the Sun, “Who are you?” it will say, “I am the Sun, I am the Moon, I am the planets, I am the Earth.” Whatever says “I am,” that is the same One. Where do all these exist? Beyond everything. Thus, by crossing layer after layer, one attains God.
What is this divine state? It is the state of Love. The state of Equality. The state of Bliss. The state beyond all limitations.
From that supreme bliss — that overflowing ecstasy — I call all of you. Receive this true knowledge and live with greatness. Uplift your heritage and your inner worth. Do not judge others’ faults; by doing so, you will avoid committing your own. Become noble enough not to think of yourself as superior. See only the good in everyone. Even when you notice negative qualities, wish sincerely that they may transform.
I once held in my inner vision a man known for his fierce and troubling actions — someone who caused suffering to many. I asked myself, “Why should he not become good?” After some time, he said, “I will change. I will do good for this nation.” Such is the power of your inner eye.
When you worship the Divine, gather your mind at the point between your eyebrows and express your intention there. From this center, thought-waves reach others. From the crown of the head, you can receive the vibrations of the universe. And in the inner eye, you can store these impressions like a treasure.
This is where the power of memory resides — where your primordial universes are held. The beginningless, endless Divine Light.
Once Arutperunjothi Vallalar said, “When I saw thewithered crop, I too withered. I opened my shop, but no one came." But now, when I open it, countless seekers gather. This is the time when the collective visions of all the great seers who walked this sacred earth will be fulfilled. By the year 2000, great changes will inevitably unfold across the world.

True spirituality is not about enjoying bliss alone but wishing that the whole world shares that joy. Those who see all humanity as one family do so because of the inner clarity gained through penance.
Not everyone needs to attain that state—one noble person is enough to uplift many, just as one sun lights the whole world.
We should aspire to become a source of peace for the world. People often ask whether peace will come and whether the world will end. What will end is evil, injustice, and falsehood; what will remain is goodness, justice, and truth.
You are walking on the path of truth, though sometimes you get distracted by desires and ego, creating your own problems. As one teacher said, many of our problems are ones we “buy” ourselves—like even paying money to get sleep.
Creation began with God, who evolved into many forms and finally into humans. To live humanely, we need knowledge; to become divine, we need self‑realization.
The Universal Peace Sanctuary provides practices for sharpening intellect, initiations for spiritual growth, and training to bring out the divine potential within every person.

For my third penance, I felt a strong intuition to go underground. In the serene and peaceful garden belonging to UPF trustee ARR Murugesan, situated precisely 11km from Salem, I undertook my penance beneath the surface. I had previously engaged in penance on the ground, near water bodies, and underground, and I was eager to also experience fire velvi. Before my departure to the US, I shared my idea of penance with UPF Mei.Boopalan Joseph, a wisdom teacher. My goal was to bring back 64 skills, particularly the skill of immortality yoga, to Earth. To acquire each skill, I required an acre of land, totaling 64 acres, plus an additional ten acres for the penance itself. Generously, the head of UPF arranged 3 lakh rupees for this purpose. I felt drawn to Thirumoorththi Hills as the ideal location. I asked my disciples to search for this place. In 1981, I traveled to study yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta ashram near Neyyar dam, a beautiful site by the water. It inspired me to envision an ashram adjacent to a water body. This led to my connection with Thirumoorththi Hills, a place symbolizing the convergence of three powers: creation, protection, and transformation. I recognized a profound bond between myself and Thirumoorththi Hills, from where I initiated the Pancha Agni Penance. This penance is referenced in the shastras, where Parvati, in her quest to attain Lord Shiva, incorporates fire in the North, South, East, West directions with Sun God overhead and her own Atma as the fifth fire. Following the Pancha Agni Velvi, I aspired to perform penance in the air. While in Nepal, we utilized a gas balloon and did penance for three hours in a seated posture. Thus, I was able to complete my penance across ground, water, underground, fire, and space.

Psychosomatic disorders arise when emotional disturbances affect both the mind and the body. The true remedy lies in quieting the mind. Just as we instinctively close our eyes when dust enters them, we must learn to withdraw the senses to experience the inner peace that lies beyond them. That state of bliss does not belong to any single individual—just as rain falls equally on all, this happiness is meant for the whole human race. It is one of God’s greatest gifts.
But instead of turning inward, we allow the mind to run outward through the senses. We can close our eyes, ears, and mouth, but if we close the nose, life itself stops. This points to the state beyond mind—the “no‑mind” state. What is this mind that pulls us in every direction? Many people live simply following wherever their eyes and thoughts wander. The mind should serve us, yet we often become servants to its desires.
I am showing you this mind because so many never attempt to master it. When we cultivate noble and divine thoughts, we purify ourselves. Then this very earth becomes like heaven—filled with wisdom, harmony, and light.

Guru‑tattva arose on this sacred land of India. Gu signifies ignorance, and Ru signifies the light that dispels it. Just as outer darkness is removed by a lamp, the inner shadows of desire, anger, greed, delusion, pride, and jealousy must be cleared for the radiance of the Self to shine unobstructed. When these impurities veil our inner light, we forget our divine essence and even lose sight of our basic humanity, slipping into instinctive, animal-like tendencies.
To live as a true human being is to rise above these lower impulses. After journeying through countless forms and evolving through many layers of consciousness, we have finally attained this rare human birth. In this very lifetime, we must fulfil our responsibilities and complete the purpose for which we have come.
The Vedas, Vedanta, Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita all proclaim that when we trust our own inner strength, we become capable of the extraordinary. By awakening to the boundless potential within, we discover that the world itself becomes an expression of our awakened consciousness.
