  • How consicously a mother should take care of her children?

Instilling good habits in children before the age of five, lays the foundation for lifelong positive practices—what begins as a habit becomes a way of life. If the future world is to be virtuous, the responsibility lies with the parents. If the parents are good, the children will also grow up to be good. Even if the father makes a mistake, the mother must uphold strong moral values. This is because it is the mother who nurtures and raises the child, feeding and caring for them from the beginning.

While feeding milk to the child, it should be done with good thoughts. The thoughts and love that pass through the milk help shape the child into a loving and well-mannered person. That is why a mother’s milk is so important for a child.
Whenever the mother feeds milk to the child, she should have noble thoughts about the child. She should bless the child, thinking, “May he grow up to be a good person, a capable individual, one who is pure, and a noble soul praised by the world.” When she feeds the child with such positive thoughts, those good thoughts travel along with the milk and become part of the nourishment. That very nourishment turns into the child’s blood. Blood becomes the mind, and the mind becomes character. Whenever the mother feeds the child—whether it is milk or rice—she should do so with a pleasant face, without any irritation or dislike. When a child is about to leave for school, we often feed them while scolding or even hitting them. This should never be done, as such experiences leave a lasting imprint on their minds.
A mother's character deeply influences the character of her child. It is the mother who shapes the virtues and values of a noble and disciplined individual.
Therefore, O mother, if you embody divinity through your conduct, your child too will reflect that divinity. So, if you (the mother) become aware of yourself and live with integrity and discipline, your family will grow into a noble and exemplary one. A tamil proverb reflects this as, *a good family is a true university*. So, it is the mother who shapes society and the world. The mother is truly the greatest.
O Mother, you have awakened to the womanhood within you. You have realized the strength and potential of a mother that lie within you. Now, recognize the divinity that dwells within you—and live as that divine being. With this, *Gurumahan* offers his complete and heartfelt blessings for a fulfilled and noble life.

  • When does a person recieves grace?

These  days, way of life is changing. People do not Eat on time  nor the amount of intake is right. Bhagavad Gita says,

      "Who can master Yoga?

The one who eats beyond or less than what is necessary,  The one who sleeps alot and the one who does not sleep, For the one who works beyond needs and for the one who does not work at all, these people  cannot master yoga

Therefore people who can balance all these aspects can master Yoga.

This sathsang is being held on thaipoosam : an auspicious full moon day, and the first month in Tamil calendar.

Beyond the 6 layer or closures in the brain is the 7th layer which is the white layer. Beyond that lies the golden supreme divine light(arutperumjothi). These 6 layers are wish, anger, desire, attachment, pride and jealousy. One should Eliminate these 6 qualities from their mind.

The great sage Vallallar whenever he goes to any of the temples he sees the temple's main deity  and sings Thirumurai. There are wonderful 5 Thirumurai. The 6th one is text styles which says that , there is  fat substance that is covered in white and yellow hidden in our forehead center. When a person with the help of a wisdom teacher opens his third eye, the fat gets eliminated to experience the divine light within.

A person can lead a good life only when grace of the supreme light is bestowed on him. That is why Vallalar sings "அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி தனிப்பெரும் கருணை அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி" meaning the "Glorious Supreme light, is the supreme grace"

So if we need this divine grace, we need to know who God is. God is the one who rules the universe. Where is God? God is everywhere. God rules the macrocosm and this body is microcosm. Each atom has God. There is nothing but God. The entire universe exists as God. Therefore where can we find God?

Siddhar sings about how people search God:  " You are the Treasure of Wisdom, but By not searching within you, you are searching outside where you cannot find."

  • What should one contemplate upon while meditating at the forehead centre or the third eye? |

At the centre of the eyebrows, one can worship and realize the truth in three states — as a form/image/idol, formless form, and a formless (arūpa) awareness. According to each person’s spiritual maturity and receptivity, that Supreme Being/God — can be worshipped through the inner eye (third eye) as a form, as a mantra/light, or as a formless awareness beyond both form and sound. Thus, according to each person’s spiritual maturity, one may contemplate God, merge with God, or become one with God.
By deeply contemplating and reflecting at the third eye (Puruva Madhya), one attains clarity in thought and realizes that God and the self are not truly separate.

Gurumahan guides us how to contemplate on our shortcomings and transform our true self.
‘I deeply experience the essence of being the soul itself. In order to feel that sacred presence, I merge with it completely. With devotion centred at the point between the eyebrows, I offer my prayer—just as a child seeks nourishment from the mother, as one turns to the father for support, and a disciple receives wisdom from the guru, I surrender and seek divine grace from that sacred presence within.’
‘To ask without restlessness or agitation—knowing clearly what is needed, I offer my prayer with stillness. In order to receive what I seek from the Divine within me, I prepare myself to become worthy of it. Everything is granted to the one who is truly deserving. Therefore, I am transforming my mind to become fit and worthy of receiving that grace. I will cleanse my mind of all unnecessary impressions such as desire, anger, greed, intense attachment, pride, and jealousy. With a purified mind, I will realize the Divine as it truly is.’

Thus, at the eyebrow centre, we should reflect and recognise our faults—and offer a heartfelt prayer to the Divine dwelling there. By becoming aware of our own mistakes, we should seek to correct and transform ourselves.

  • Similar to human beings, this nature also goes through metabolic changes.

After eating foods that give us the energy to work throughout the day, our body digests the food, absorbs the needed energy, and removes the unwanted waste. This process is called metabolism. Just like the human body has a metabolic system, the Earth too has its own kind of metabolism—taking in what is needed for growth and releasing what is not. This natural system of balance exists not only in humans but also throughout nature. Even the Sun goes through an 11-year cycle of changes, where sunspots form due to solar storms, which can send shockwaves that affect the Earth. The Moon also follows its own natural cycles. The human body undergoes noticeable changes every 11 months, showing how deeply connected we are to the rhythms of the universe.

These changes that occur every 11 months were observed and interpreted as natural phases by our ancestors. They noticed that these changes begin during the Tamil month of ‘Margazhi’ and lead to a renewed state in the month of ‘Thai’. During this time, the Sun shifts from the southern to the northern hemisphere—a transition known as *Utharayanam* or the northward movement of the Sun. Our ancestors called this period *Uttara Kalam*, meaning the upward or progressive time. Remarkable transformations take place during this phase. During the *Utharayanam* period, the electromagnetic waves from the Sun and Moon, especially during full moon and new moon days, are strongly attracted to the Earth. Those who sought spiritual wisdom or spiritual progress made great use of these powerful waves, especially the ones that occur on full moon days.

  • Beyond Sleep and Dream – Divine Contemplation |

The state that transcends the two states of dream and deep sleep is divine contemplation. The all-powerful Supreme Being is present everywhere, in everything, and always. That alone is the true essence. That is why it is called Paramporul (the Supreme Reality). It is the ultimate truth, and hence it is referred to as Mei Porul (the True Reality). We worship that mei porul that is above everything and beyond all. That is what we call God. So, when we worship or think about God, we are in that divine contemplation state.

The mind becomes whatever it thinks about. When the mind constantly thinks about worldly matters, it keeps experiencing the pleasures and sorrows that come from them. There is an inner state that goes beyond all pleasure and pain.

The form or force that drives all worldly objects is the ultimate reality — that is God. It is that which moves the world we call nature, and it is also what drives all living beings that emerged from nature, from one-sense organisms to six-sense human beings. The cosmic elements (Anda Saraksharangal) are also moved by that power. In human beings it is the same power that operates the body, mind, and intellect and it exists as the soul.

The soul is a conscious entity. Like worldly objects, the soul is a conscious entity/ entity with awareness. Perceiving that awareness is knowledge. That awareness is the Supreme consciousness or God. Similar to the sense of sight in the eyes, sense of smell in the nose, sense of hearing in the ears, sense of taste in the tongue, sense of touch in the skin; The soul’s awareness is at the center of the forehead(third eye chakra) and at the Sahasrara(crown chakra), where the true consciousness resides and that is where we contemplate on the Divine.

  • Inner Penance in Thought, Word, and Deed |

May you carry out all your duties successfully today with the grace of divine power.

With a pleasant face and kind words, we must speak in a way that does not hurt anyone’s heart. Each word we speak should be considered carefully, ensuring it brings benefit to all. Even if a truth is harsh, it should be conveyed with kindness.

In the same way, every action should be guided by the intention of doing good—not just for humanity, but for all living beings. Every deed should be aimed at the welfare of all living creatures.

Thus, one must remain aware and disciplined in all aspects—with penance in thought, penance in speech, and penance in action.

When we live with this conscious attitude, accepting that whatever has happened, is happening, or will happen is all for the good, life itself becomes a path of goodness—and everything will indeed unfold in a positive way.

  • How yoga helps in balancing five elements within the body? |

The human body is seen as a composition of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space. These elements not only exist in the external world but are also present within each of us. Specific regions of the spine correspond to these elements—for example, the throat represents space, the chest- air, the navel- fire, the lower abdomen- water, and the base of the spine- earth.

Among these, air (Vata), fire (Pitta), and water (Kapha) are especially significant in maintaining internal balance. When these three energies are in harmony, nature enables us to live in good health. However, any imbalance—whether an excess or deficiency—can manifest as disease. These disorders may arise at three levels: the body, the mind, and the life force.

The remedy for such Imbalances lies not outside but within us. Known as “Muva Marundhu”, this innate healing power is accessible through self-awareness, mindful eating, proper breathing, and above all, the practice of Yoga. Yoga helps regulate the flow of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, restoring the natural state and allowing the five elements within us to remain in balance.

Traditional natural medicine (Naturopathy as practiced in UPF) and Yoga together regulate the flow of the five elements within a human being, laying the foundation for a healthy and enriched life.

  • Thirumandhiram 579: Mooladhara is where the Kundalini Shakthi resides.

Just as the Divine resides in the sanctum sanctorum (garbhagriha) of a temple, so too does the Supreme Being—Shiva, dwell deep within the sanctum of this body. The sacred center within is the Mooladhara, the root chakra. It lies 12 fingers beneath the navel, below the Manipura Chakra. To realize Shiva in this inner sanctum is to awaken to His eternal presence within.

    Line 2 and 3:
To realize the Shiva who resides in the Mooladhara is to discover the sacred mantra—”Manthiram”—that opens the mind. That is when the mind becomes pure and steady. When the mind remains focused deeply and becomes absorbed in meditation on the root centre (Moola Dhava), Then one can truly experience the indwelling presence of the Divine, The Supreme Being who abides within.

That Lord (Eesan), in the form of Nataraja, dances with one leg lifted and the other pressing firmly upon the earth. He is in eternal motion, gracefully performing the cosmic dance. This entire universe moves because *That* moves. That which causes all things to move—because it itself is in motion—that alone is God. Such a Divine Presence, as Shiva, as Eesan, manifests within this very physical body. That very Lord resides in the Mooladhara as a vibrant pulse, ever dancing. It is His dance that sets all things into motion. If His dance were to cease, all movement would come to a standstill.

When *I* move, the entire cosmos moves—For this *I* is none other than Shivam, the Supreme Self. That eternal Shiva shines resplendently in the Mooladhara. It resides below the navel, in the space between the anus and the genitals, between the Maladhwara (the gate of excretion) and Jaladhwara (the gate of reproduction). There, the Divine Energy flows silently, radiating as pure Shakti.
Because that Shiva Shakti moves, the body moves, the mind moves, and awareness flows. Even the billions of cells within the body are in motion because of it. If that movement ceases and departs, this body becomes a lifeless corpse. As long as Shivam is present, this body remains active and alive. When that Shivam departs from the body and its movement ceases, this entire microcosm — this Sitrandam — comes to a complete halt. Therefore, the Supreme Shiva who moves the vast cosmos (Per Andam), and the inner Shiva who moves the microcosm (Sitrandam), is ever-present at the center between the eyebrows (third eye chakra) as Sadashiva. When one descends from that Shiva state, it becomes the Jeeva state. But when that Jeeva becomes aware of its true Self, it can once again attain the Shiva state.

  • I-GOD : Transcending Worship: Realizing the God Within | நான் கடவுள்: வணக்கத்தின் முடிவு: இறைவனை உணருதல்

Through constant reflection and deep contemplation, one ultimately becomes what one worships.
But who is the one who prays? And who is the God worthy of that prayer?

    “அந்த வணக்கத்தின் வணக்கத்தால், வணங்கி வணங்கி வணங்கி, வணங்கியவன் எவனோ அவனே வணக்கத்திற்கு உரிய ஈசன் என்று அறிந்த அன்றே வணக்கத்தின் முடிவு “

    When the Jeeva (individual soul) realizes that it is none other than the Divine itself—the very object of its devotion—that realization marks the end of worship. When one perceives the truth;
    ‘I am that’
    ‘Aham Brahmasmi’
    ‘Tat Tvam Asi’
‘Pragyanam Brahmam’ — then the duality of the worshipper and worshipped dissolves.

Prajnanam refers to Mei Unarvu—the inner, divine awareness, the sacred vibration within.
Brahman is that very divine vibration, experienced through the awakened third eye and the crown chakra after receiving initiation through the Universal Peace Foundation (UPF).

To realize the Atma—the soul—as the life-force (Aham) residing within this body, is to realize Brahman. This recognition is not the beginning, but the end of all worship.

  • Meditation: The Ultimate Solution to Every Problem |

If you encounter practical challenges in meditation, know that meditation itself is the path through which such obstacles are gently dissolved. The obstacles are not caused by meditation.

Meditation is the solution to all problems. Therefore, if we learn meditation with proper guidance and practice it properly and consistently, we can overcome many of the challenges that arise in life.

When there is divine vibration, awareness/realization of the consciousness, faith and trust; difficulties and suffering naturally fade away.

Therefore, through meditation, we can overcome many problems—be it physical issues, mental struggles, financial difficulties, intellectual challenges, family conflicts, professional hurdles, administrative concerns, or even political problems. Meditation alone is the solution to all of these. Hence, meditation is not the problem; in fact, meditation is the solution to problems.
