In this session Principal Analytics & Insight consultant James Barlow will show you how the UI & UX of Analytic Applications can be enhanced using native SAP Analytics Cloud scripting to create more complex effects & functionality within a dashboard.

You will also take a look at how processing scripts via a chain of events & logic can help you create seemingly complex interactions within an Application.

In 2022, the bi-directional data transfer for planning use cases has been released. Learn more about the respective APIs and their set-up and get to know the future integration roadmap and the benefits that you can expect.

In this demo, we show how a combination of the community-maintained Easy UI5 Generator (https://github.com/SAP/generator-easy-ui5) and the Open UX tools open-source modules (https://github.com/SAP/open-ux-tools) offers full flexibility to create an app powered by the SAP Fiori elements flexible programming model, while simultaneously leveraging the convenience of the SAP Fiori tools.

In this session we will showcase the additional steps necessary to enable a BTP Destination for usage across Global Accounts or between different regions. Such scenarios require different security configurations, additional properties and a bi-directional exchange of trust. In particular we will use an ABAP Steampunk system as the BTP Destination target and cover the extra steps needed on the ABAP side to configure this scenario as well. Finally, we will test the new Destinations via the Fiori Tools in the SAP Business Application Studio and in SAP AppGyver.
