Peter Pluim is the President of SAP’s Enterprise Cloud Services & SAP Sovereign Cloud Services businesses, which include private managed cloud deployment options for RISE with SAP and full SAP ERP value-adding SAP Cloud Application Services as well as Sovereign Cloud Services. He is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, revenue and margin of these business and leads a global team that ensures SAP delivers to its contractual commitments.
Peter is part of the Global Product Engineering Group and reports directly to its President and Executive Board Member. In his first 24 months at SAP, Peter and his team have delivered an 99,99+% system availability and tripled the number of customers. Peter joined SAP in June 2019 and prior to his role at SAP, Peter was the Executive Vice-President and CEO of Atos’ Infrastructure & Data Management Division, leading a €7.1B (2017), 50.000+ people organization to become a globally recognized industry leader in Digital Transformation, Hybrid Cloud, Digital Workplace and Managed Services. Peter was also part of the Executive Committee of Atos, a global leader in digital transformation with over 110,000 employees in 73 countries and annual revenue of over € 11 billion.
Before joining Atos, Peter spent sixteen years at IBM in a multitude of roles and countries, spanning Sales Leadership, Operations, Delivery and Finance. Throughout Peter’s tenure, he has proven to be a high paced, results oriented strategic leader of Digital Transformation with a track record of driving growth with relentless focus on Customer Satisfaction. Next to this, he partners strongly at C-level to personally support and sponsor strategic engagements. His additional background in Finance & Planning as well as Resource Management of a professional organization is a great asset.
