  • #14: Natalie Dawn on Turning Your Creative Passion into Your Career

#14: Welcome back! I am SO excited to share my interview with my photographer, friend, and fellow wedding vendor bestie Natalie Dawn Kendrick with you! I learned SO much from my time with Natalie and I know you are going to as well. We cover quite a few topics, from how Natalie first started playing around with a camera to eventually having the incredible career she does now, to what happens when you have a few too many tequila shots at a destination wedding in Mexico. We also talk about the importance of establishing clear, realistic expectations with your clients before going into business together, how to still show up on the days you'd rather lay in bed, and how to begin creating a career within a field you are passionate about. Enjoy!

  • #13: (Part Two) Michael Daniels on Finding Your Vision in Prison and Personal Training

#13: Welcome back! I am very excited to share my part two interview with my personal trainer, Michael Daniels, with you! Michael and I explore a broad range of topics, from how his vision for his personal training brand was born, to how he actively works every day to better handle his emotions and reactions, and increase his mental strength. We also discuss his transition back into life outside of prison, and the importance of being gracious with yourself regarding your timeline, rather than comparing yourself to the people around you. He also encourages us to be mindful of the invaluable role diet plays on your journey to a healthier lifestyle, and how the prioritization of consuming food that the BEST version of your body loves will serve you even more than consistency at the gym. His answer to my question about what superpower he would most like to have warmed my heart, and I think it will warm yours as well! Stick around to hear some listener questions answered at the end. I hope you get as much out of my conversation with Mike as I did - enjoy!
