In today's episode I talk about banishing vs releasing work - when to use each, as well as a frank discussion of mental health, intergenerational trauma, internalized bigotry, and other things that come up when we talk about releasing work and healing. I talk about my year of no, and how saying no can be a way to say yes to what matters most to you. In Witch You Got This, I offer you my daily(ish) releasing practice and elemental connection practice, which helps me feel grounded and like I'm moving in a healthy direction. In today's episode I cover some different questions I've been asked about the tarot - reading with reversals, reading professionally and doing tarot parties, and also ways we can work with the tarot apart from divination - like somatic and meditative work, and ritual/spellcasting. I also share about my 8 week tarot course, Keys to the Kingdom, which is launching for the first time in February! In today's episode I talk about connecting the dots between the possible meanings of a tarot card, and turning that information into a meaningful reading that will empower you or the querent to take action. We talk about one card and two card pulls, jumper cards, and spreads. I also give you helpful actions to take when you are stumped - either on the meaning of a card, or how to apply that card to a reading. SassafrasCast Teaches Tarot: The Suit of Cups (Episode 38) In today's episode I take you on a ~beautiful emotional journey~ through the suit of Cups in the tarot! We explore the element of water and the wisdom it has to offer on your emotional journey. As per usual, I include a small rant about harmful gender stereotypes and how much I am unwilling to apply them to the tarot. The King and Queen are equal and both approach this element with mastery. I also offer you an elemental visualization practice to help you work with your emotions as valued messengers.
