Cloud services are growing and on the verge of becoming an important part of the satellite industry. Therefore a cloud strategy is needed to define what cloud capabilities are important to customers and where the greatest growth opportunities are. Robert Bell, Executive Director, World Teleport Association (WTA) explains why the industry is moving to the cloud including the technical, operational, cost factors and skills needed to be successful as well as provides his insights on how to stay competitive.
