How can we talk about something, the essence of which cannot be explained through words? The Taoists use water as a metaphor. Sitting beside a waterfall, Swaha reads and comments on these words of Lao Tzu:
“The Supreme Truth is like water, which nourishes all. It nourishes all things without trying to do it. It is content with low places that people disdain. Thereby, it is one with the Tao.
In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep it simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don’t try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.
When you are happy to be complete yourself, you are one with the Tao. And don’t compare or compete. Then, everybody will love and respect you.”

“To be ordinary is the most extraordinary” - Vasant Swaha
The way of the Taoists is a Pathless Path – it cannot be talked about. One has to fall in tune, and flow as water in a state of non-doing, which is called wu wei.
"It is in the ordinary life. It is always available – but you have to seek it” . If we use our senses in a natural way, nature can reflect many qualities back to us. Nature accepts us, and we just have to accept ourselves more.

“Taoism is not a religion, it’s not a belief, it’s a way of living and coming back to live in harmony with existence” -Swaha
One cannot understand the Tao intellectually, it has to be a deep realization. The first step is to be open, to feel more. It helps to observe the cycles of nature. If you manage to get out of your head and into your heart, it becomes easier to see the bigger picture of life and to tune into the whole. The Truth is timeless. It is eternal. Meditation is key.
In this talk Swaha reads words from Lao Tzu aimed to guide one on this pathless path.

The Zen tradition is known for the mind-bending ways that are used to provoke the seeker to reach self-realization. Many stories are told about extraordinary meetings between a Master and disciple. Here, Vasant Swaha shares about when Chui (or Yoka), still as a seeker, was challenged by Master Huineng. This meeting led to Chui becoming a disciple and to his enlightenment. When sharing the story, Swaha is reminded of an event from his life, when met with an ancient friend, also an awakened being, named Giridhar.

Suitable for listening while sitting silently in meditation. Vasant Swaha brings us into the essence of relaxation. And what is that? It’s coming back to ourselves, to our center, finding a space within where the heart beats in tune with all of existence. Relaxation is letting go of thoughts and being open, sensitive, and alert, silently becoming the relaxation itself.
