A disciple asks Swaha: why is it so difficult for us to trust others? The master’s answer shows us that we are taught to fear others in our upbringing. Fear is all around us, and we have to learn to trust again and love unconditionally to be able to relax and go deeper into meditation.

"Totally by chance," a gardener wrote in his letter, saying that was how he started working in the Master's garden. "Nothing is by chance," replies Swaha. "God works in mysterious ways."
The way back home to be with God is the climax of human life. But why isn't everyone aware of that longing? How can one reclaim that space in the hearts? How can one silence the mind and relearn to breathe? Judgements, arguments, hatred distance will distance you from your heart. Be a meditator, jump inside, and be happy. You are worthy of that search.

Julgamentos, discussões, ódio mantêm você distante do coração.

While responding to a disciple’s letter in which she shares her encounter with the deep, silent space of the pure being, Swaha reads and comments on the words of Daya.
Born around 1700, in India, Daya Bai, “a sweet singer like the Indian koyal,” said Osho, was Charandas’s disciple. She was an enlightened woman who, through poetry, not only shared her devotion to her Master, but also spoke about the importance of withdrawing from all our restless activities outside and dedicating ourselves to stop, relax and go inward.
Whoever appreciated her poetry, Osho used to say, would also taste their feelings, and if they let a spark of these verses fall into themselves, their darkness would be completely destroyed. After all, as Vasant Swaha puts it, “silence with love goes deep, [...] that is the whole thing to remember: remember yourself, remember your heart, remember your breath, remember the master. Anything that brings you back to the moment.”

During an intimate Satsang in Brazil, while answering one of his disciples’ letter, Vasant Swaha tells the story about this common man who awoke from his dream of being a war hero, back in the twelfth century, and became one of the most beloved catholic saints: Saint Francis of Assisi.
It is unknown whether it was the mystic Shamz who guided him toward enlightenment. But it is widely understood that the twenty-five-year-old man born in Assisi devoted himself to Love, simplicity, and people. He pilgrimaged with his eleven disciples, more and more connected to nature, animals, silence, and meditation. From the story of Saint Francis, Vasant Swaha talks about the path of those who come closer to existence as a true devotee, in tune with the Master, and undisturbed by the mind, in a relationship of Love and acceptance with nature.
This is the story of the saint who, with simplicity, innocence, and devotion, shared the sacraments and rejoiced with the living beings — including an old-friend squirrel.
Saint Francis said, “differences exist, but not in the city of love. Love opened my eyes.” For Vasant Swaha, “Love is the only religion,” as it was for Saint Francis, and Buddha, and Jesus, and Rumi, and Shamz… Be ready for its simplicity and dwell in the city of love.”

O Amor abriu-me os olhos".

The Beloved Master shares Love with his disciples. “Love attracts Love,” he says, guiding whoever listens to him on a path of trust, love, forgiveness, and devotion. He also reminds us that Love is always present as a healer in our hearts. When we settle in there, we are close to the Master, close to the truth, and then we can relax. Love is one, Love is all.
In that awareness, the night before Satsang, Swaha felt the gentle and sensitive presence of Saint Francis of Assisi and talks about his experience: a Golden Meeting.
Saint Francis of Assisi was a mystic Italian Catholic friar. St. Francis’ devotion to God was expressed through his love for God’s creation. He preached to animals and praised all creatures as brothers and sisters under God. He is the patron saint of animals and ecology. The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a Christian celebration, is held annually on the 4th of October.
