The search includes combing for a key piece of missing evidence: the suspect's cell phone. Sheriff Chris Nanos says cell towers in the area have been pinging, among other leads, in an effort to connect a digital trail.

He acknowledges that there is a lot more data, leads, and tips to be looked at.
