Among the points debated are the structure of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, what needs to change about the voting process, and whether or not boycotts are called for.

As we do some New Year’s planning, preparation, and what-not, we have for this week a collected set of all of the “Motown Artist of the Week (Who Didn’t Quite Make It)” segments from last year. Part 2 of this two-part compilation includes the stories behind artists like Wilton Felder, The Originals, Undisputed Truth, Shorty Long, and the story of how Motown artist Patrice Holloway became involved in bringing the first Black female Saturday morning cartoon character to life.

Well, a miracle happened. Brandon finally saw Star Wars...all of Star Wars. "A New Hope", "The Empire Strikes Back", "Return of the Jedi", "Attack of the Clones", "Revenge of the Sith"...and even "The Phantom Menace". He discusses what he thought of them, and runs a number of beginner Star Wars questions past Ken (now upgraded from recurring) and special guest and VFX artist galore Russell.
