Un gran saludo a toda la comunidad . Espero que todos se encuentren bien de salud y de ánimo.

En esta semana 177 Round 3 traigo mi versión de la canción "Killing me softly with his Song" que fuera un gran éxito en la voz de Roberta Flack en 1973 y le valiera ganar un premio Grammy por Disco del Año y Mejor Interpretación Vocal Pop Femenina. Sin embargo muchos no saben que no fué Roberta Flack la primera en grabar este temazo. La primera en entonarla fue Lori Lieberman, vocalista conocida por su voz cálida, sus letras cultas y su estilo con influencias folk , y quien la grabó por primera vez.

Pero la canción alcanzó la fama en la voz de Roberta Flack en 1973 y después nuevamente saltó a la palestra en 1996 interpretada por el grupo de hip-hop Fugees que versionó la versión de Flack de la canción en su álbum The Score (1996), con Lauryn Hill como vocalista principal. La versión de Fugees se convirtió en un éxito internacional, alcanzando el número uno en la lista Top 40 de EE. UU. y el número dos en la lista de radiodifusión estadounidense.

La canción narra cómo una dama se sorprende ante un cantante que ue narra su vida en la letra de su canción, hasta el punto que s ella le parece como si él hubiera hasta leído sus cartas privadas y estuviera difundiendo sus intimidades cantándolas. Son embargo él cantante no tiene la mínima idea de lo que está produciendo en ella y en un momento en que alza la vista ni siquiera hay un cruce de miradas ya que ella comenta que él no la miró sino que la traspasó con su mirada, como si ella no estuviera presente.

En algún momento - no en forma tan intensa, de seguro - nos hemos identificado con la letra de una canción que se parece demasiado a nuestras propias vivencias. Algo similar a esto es lo que vive la protagonista, pero en forma más profunda.

Una de sus estrofas dice:

Ya me olvidé de aquel cariño falso

En este caso el cantante hizo su denuncia con la canción.

Cuando "Killing me softly with his Song" se puso de moda en Venezuela tenía yo 14 años y vivíamos alquilados en una casa de un barrio de Caracas llamado Antímano. Actualmente viven alquilados en esa misma casa uno de mis sobrinos con su esposa, algunos de sus hijos y algunos de sus nietos.

Esa casa era de un isleño, un señor oriundo de las islas Canarias. Era viudo y tenía solo un hijo a quien quería ver casado con una isleña también. El hijo se enamoró y se casó con una venezolana, relación que su padre jamás aceptó y que hizo que hasta dejaran de hablarse.

El isleño falleció y el hijo - su único heredero - dijo que no quería recibir los bienes dejados por su padre porque él nunca había aceptado a su esposa. Cuando ocurrió esto la casa estaba alquilada a través de una agencia de bienes raíces, si. embargo sus ejecutivos cometieron fraudes, fueron denunciados y se escaparon huyendo de la justicia.

Desde entonces mis familiares depositan el alquiler en un tribunal porque no tienen a quién pagarle. Hace más de cuarenta años que ocurre está situación.

Bueno, estimada comunidad, espero que les guste mi versión de esta bella canción que para los mayores nos recordará tiempos idos mientras los menores quizá la escuchen por primera vez.

Saludos, comunidad, espero que todos estén muy bien de salud física, mental y anímica, que sus espíritus sean libres y sus almas estén alegres.

Esta semana la temática es "Salmos" y de ese libro de la Biblia donde encontramos cánticos y oraciones de alabanza, adoración, contrición y gratitud, hace cuarenta años tomé uno de sus salmos y compuse una música para cantarlo.

Es interesante saber que, al contrario de lo que muchas veces se piensa, no todos los Salmos fueron escritos por el Rey David. Por el contrario, fueron escritos por diversos autores. Sabemos por los títulos que el Rey. David escribió alrededor de 73 de ellos. El sacerdote Asaf, designado para dirigir las alabanzas, escribió 12. También fueron 12 los salmos escritos por los hijos de Coré, levitas que fueron porteros primero del tabernáculo y posteriormente del templo y al Rey Salomón se le atribuyen 2 aunque no hay total certeza al respecto.

Los Salmos son de gran ayuda en los momentos de oración, y, de hecho, la Liturgia de las Horas, de la iglesia católica marca distintos momentos del día con los salmos como oración.

Hay Salmos que se han popularizado mucho en el pueblo cristiano, tales como el Salmo 91, con el que se acostumbra orar para pedir protección ("El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo morará bajo la sombra del Omnipotente") , el Salmo 23 ("El Señor es mi Pastor, nada me faltará":y que es leído a las personas agonìzantes por el consuelo que

representa para ellas escuchar "aúnque ande en valle sombra de muerte no tendré mal alguno porque Tú estarás conmigo"

La letra del salmo 139 la tomé de la versión de la Biblia de Casiodoro de Reina y Cipriano de Valera, conocida como "la Reina - Valera" de 1960 - traté de modificarla lo menos posible, https el sentido de la misma en un 100 %

El Salmo que musicalicé en esa ocasión fue el Salmo 139, un canto que subraya el conocimiento profundo que tiene Dios de cada uno de nosotros - conociéndonos mejor que nosotros mismos - , que le hace saber qé vamos a decir antes que abramos la boca y qué vamos a pensar antes que la idea resuene en nuestro interior.

Espero que les agrade la melodía, mi interoretación, pero lo que más espero y deseo es que el Espíritu Santo permita que al escuchar este Salmo , sus palabras sean semillas que, sembradas en nuestros corazones, den fruto para la vida eterna.

Greetings, community. I hope you are all in good physical, mental, and emotional health, that your spirits are free, and your souls are joyful.

This week's theme is "Psalms," and from that book of the Bible where we find songs and prayers of praise, adoration, contrition, and gratitude, forty years ago I took one of its psalms and composed music to sing it.

It's interesting to know that, contrary to what is often thought, not all the Psalms were written by King David. On the contrary, they were written by various authors. We know from the titles that King David wrote around 73 of them. The priest Asaph, appointed to lead the praises, wrote 12. There were also 12 psalms written by the sons of Korah, Levites who were gatekeepers first of the tabernacle and later of the temple, and King Solomon is credited with 2, although there is no absolute certainly about this.

The Psalms are a great help in moments of prayer, and, in fact, the Liturgy of the Hours of the Catholic Church marks different times of the day with the Psalms as prayer.

There are Psalms that have become very popular among Christians, such as Psalm 91, which is customarily used to pray for protection ("He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty"), and Psalm 23 ("The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"), which is read to the dying for the comfort it brings them to hear "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me."

I took the text of Psalm 139 from the Reina-Valera version of the Bible by Casiodoro de Reina and Cipriano de Valera, known as the 1960 Reina-Valera version. I tried to modify it as little as possible, while preserving its meaning 100%.

The Psalm I set to music on that occasion was Psalm 139, a song that underscores God's profound knowledge of each of us—knowing us better than we know ourselves—so that He knows what we will say before we open our mouths and what we will think before the idea even takes root within us.

I hope you enjoy the melody and my interpretation, but what I most hope and desire is that the Holy Spirit will allow the words of this Psalm to be seeds sown in our hearts, bearing fruit for eternal life.

Un gran saludo a todos los músicos que forman parte de esta comunidad de Hiveopenmic. Aunque no participo con la frecuencia que quisiera y debiera, cuando lo hago lo disfruto.

Esta semana la temática sugerida es "Spotlight"(Destacar).

La primera canción que se me vino a la mente fue "My way" de Frank Sinatra.

Porque es una canción que hace un recorrido por la vida del protagonista quien nunca fue "del montón". Todas las cosas las hizo "a su manera" lo que se traduce en que se destacó, pues siempre marcó una diferencia.

Sin embargo, a los los pocos mintutos me vino la iluminación, me acordé de "Dancing Queen" (Reina Danzante) del maravilloso grupo rompe records "Abba".

"Dancing Queen" fue uno de los grandes éxitos mundiales de este grupo sueco y es una exaltación a la juventud, al amor por la música- A través de su personaje principal, una chica de diecisiete años que cuando baila se convierte en la reina de la noche, destaca entre todas, está pieza ha sido tomada como un himno a la música disco.

Hablar de la músia disco es remontarnos a las décadas de los 70 y 80, a la música que se bailaba en las discotecas en ambientes de semipenumbras o de luces de colores parpadeantes, es recordar aquella ropa extravagantes que muchos usaban para ir a bailar, sin negar el consumo de drogas que a veces acompañaba a esos bailes. Es recordar redadas policiales que caían de repente en esos sitios.

Recordar lo bueno pero también lo me os bueno que fue también parte de las vivencias de esa época.

Toda una subcultura se creó alrededor de ese término "Disco" .

Por otra parte, hablar del grupo Abba, es hablar de la primera vez que un grupo musical europeo se convirtió en un éxito sin precedentes, fuera de Europa.

Llegaron a América y la conquistaron... y le hicieron versiones en castellano a muchas de sus canciones. Formado por dos matrimonios, el grupo nos presentaba a cuatro excelentes vocalistas : dos damas muy bellas, dos jóvenes muy guapos , que cantaban haciendo "juegos de voces", su nombre se tomó de la inicial el nombre de cada integrante (Los nombres de ambos caballeros comenzaban por "B" ; Bjorn y Benny, mientras que las damas tenían nombres que comenzaban con "A" - Agnetha y Anni - Frid)

Cuando Abba se estaba dando a conocer en tdo el mundo tenía yo alrededor de diez años y fue un grupo cuya música me impactó sobremanera.

Recuerdo que una vez sacaron un reportaje completo sobre ellos en "Selecciones del Readers Digest", una respetable revista de ese tiempo que yo describiría como de formato pequeño pero de gran contenido.

Fue en dicho reportaje que supe detalles como el hecho de que Suecia ganaba más dinero con Abba que con su industria automotriz, supe detalles del museo de Abba, y de la increíble cantidad de discos vendidos. Esta cantidad luego siguió cmbiando y aumentando. Actualmente los numeritos nos indican que Abba ha vendido alrededor de 400 millones de discos en todo el mundo.

Los dos matrimonios que formaron el grupo Abba terminaron en divorcio y se dice que nunca hubo amistad entre las dos damitas, pero esos son los comunes "claroscuros" humanos que todos tenemos pero que en modo alguno disminuye el valor artístico de este grupo capaz de ser parte del favoritismo de varias generaciones.

Espero que mi versión de esta icónica canción, que encaja perfectamente en la temática solicitada, llegue a ser del agrado de todos ustedes.

Está canción fue compuesta por el abogado y músico caraqueño Gilberto Mejías Palazzi, nacido el 5 de abril de 1943 y fallecido en Caracas el 3 de marzo del 2000.

Según la leyenda, la imagen de la Virgen del Valle que se encuentra en la isla de Margarita fue llevada desde el puerto de La Guaira en el año 1541 por el navegante español Alejandro de Añez.6 a la Isla de Cubagua, aunque también hay quienes aseguran que fue hallada junto a una playa, por unos indios que la trajeron en sus hombros al pueblo, en donde nacería y crecería la devoción hacia "la Virgen bonita"

El primer milagro realizado por la Virgen del Valle en el oriente venezolano ocurrió en el año de 1608, en el siglo XVII. Tras un larguísimo período de sequía la Virgen fue sacada en procesión por primera vez, en medio de oraciones pidiendo cesara la sequía. Llegaron hasta la Asunción y en ese momento, con un cielo que hasta el momento estaba claro, de pronto aparecieron unas nubes y comenzó una lluvia torrencial que se extendió durante todo aquel día y la noche siguiente

Esto está grabado en la tradición oriental junto a muchas otras narraciones que forman parte de su identidad.

En Hive - que yo recuerde - he interpretado - en el transcurso del tiempo - tres canciones de Camilo Sesto: "Piel de Ángel", "Melina" y "Quieres ser mi amante", está semana traigo también un tema de él, pero esta vez es "Morir de Amor".

Forma parte de todo aquel cúmulo de canciones que se pusieron de moda, a partir de 1964, en la década de los 70 y 80, una tras otra. Más de cuarenta producciones discográficas y sus ventas totales estimadas en más de 2,5 millones de copias en todo el mundo nos dicen cuan fuerte fue el impacto artístico de su voz y su imagen.

Camilo Sesto fue un compositor prolífico de hermosas canciones. románticas, unas de amor, otras de desamor. Canciones cuya melodía en algún momento llevaba notas agudas que hacían brillar el alcance de su voz. Letras tiernas o apasionadas, melodías "pegajosas" que se escuchaban y provocaba volverlas a escuchar una y otra vez. Aparte de ser bastante buen mozo - todo un "galán" -. Detalles todos que se conjugaron para llevar al tope su carrera artística.

Y no sólo interpretó sus propias canciones sino que compuso temas también para vocalistas de la talla de como Miguel Bosé, Ángela Carrasco, Lani Hall, José José, Lucía Méndez y otros.

La canción que les traigo hoy manifiesta la mala fortuna del que "se enamora solo" de forma reiterada hasta que "ya no puede más" y exasperado clama "vivir así es morir de amor" y esa paradójica frase en que dos opuestos - vida y muerte - se manifiestan como coexistiendo o siendo el uno a la vez el otro luego es explicado ya al final con un "soy mendigo de tus besos, soy tu amigo... quiero ser algo más que eso"

Esta canción va dedicada a los que alguna vez sintieron que en su corazón el aprecio característico de la amistad cambiaba y se transformaba en amor no correspondido y también - y sobre todo - a los que ahora mismo están viviendo está situación que hará que él 14 de febrero - día del amor y la amistad - se vean obligados a permanecer como amigos cuando sus sentimientos desearían algo distinto.

Hola, comunidad, un gran saludo a todos los amantes de la música y las tradiciones que participan en este concurso.

Esta semana deseo participar con el tema "Brisas del Torbes". El Torbes es un rio importante aunque de corta longitud. Nace en las cordilleras del estado Táchira de Venezuela. San Cristóbal, capital del estado Táchira, se, asienta sobre su ribera izquierda.

Una nota particular sobre el río Torbes es el hecho de que sus aguas tienen un color rojizo. Esto se debe a los sedimentos arrastrados hacia él por sus tributarios, los cuales se originan en la Formación La Quinta al este de la Cuenca.

La confluencia entre el río Torbes y el Uribante da origen al río Apure.

"Brisas del Torbes" fue compuesta por Luis Felipe Ramón y Rivera, y es considerada un himno del gentilicio andino en el estado Táchira.

Esta canción recuerdo haberla escuchado por primera vez teniendo alrededor de cinco seis años, cantada por mi tía Amanda, quien para la época estaba de novia de un joven llamado Alberto quien era andino, específicamente de un pueblito llamado "Timotes" en recuerdo de la etnia Timoto - Cuicas, pueblo aborígen que habitaba la región en la época de la conquista.

Creo que mi tía Amanda cantaba esta canción como una especie de homenaje a su novio andino.

Los andinos se caracterizan por ser personas muy educadas y corteses, muy trabajadoras y responsables.

Los Andes es una de las regiones donde se pronuncia mejor nuestro idioma, ya no tienen el mal hábito de otras zonas en las que - por ejemplo - al hablar, la letra "s" es sustituida por la letra "j".

A nivel geográfico su paisaje ofrece mucha belleza para los ojos de los visitantes.

Aunque este bello tema ha sido interpretado por muchos vocalistas, quise compartir con ustedes la versión maravillosa que grabó el inolvidable Quinteto Contrapunto. Un trabajo muy hermoso que sé que van a disfrutar.

Hello community, a big greeting to all lovers of music and traditions who participate in this contest. This week I want to participate with the theme "Brisas del Torbes".

The Torbes is an important river, although short in length. It is born in the mountain ranges of the Táchira state of Venezuela. San Cristóbal, capital of the Táchira state, sits on its left bank. A particular note about the Torbes River is the fact that its waters have a reddish color. This is due to sediments carried into it by its tributaries, which originate in the La Quinta Formation to the east of the Basin.

The confluence between the Torbes and Uribante rivers gives rise to the Apure river. "Brisas del Torbes" was composed by Luis Felipe Ramón y Rivera, and is considered an anthem of the Andean demonym in the state of Táchira.

I remember hearing this song for the first time when I was around five and six years old, sung by my aunt Amanda, who at the time was dating a young man named Alberto who was Andean, specifically from a small town called "Timotes" in memory of the Timoto - Cuicas ethnic group, an aboriginal people who inhabited the region at the time of the conquest.

I think my aunt Amanda sang this song as a kind of tribute to her Andean boyfriend.

The Andean people are characterized by being very educated and courteous people, very hard-working and responsible.

Hola, comunidad, reciban un gran saludo deseando que sus días estén llenos de alegría y esperanza.

Esta semana les traigo una canción del baúl de mis recuerdos "¿Quieres ser mi amante?" de Camilo Sesto. Me trae recuerdos de.mi juventud. De la época en que trabajaba en una institución bancaria y cada quincena que cobraba iba directo a la tienda de discos a comprar el.long play de mis artistas preferidos. Camilo Sesto era uno de ellos.

Recuerdo que compré el long play con 16 éxitos suyos, disco que no se rayó, no se por qué pues ¡Cómo le daba rosca! De esa misma época recuerdo cómo compraba los discos de Kenny Rogers, Lani Hall, Michael Jackson, Roberto Carlos, Un Solo Pueblo, Yordano, y pare usted de contar.

Las melodías eran muy variadas y las letras competían con calidad.

En esa época tenía yo un equipo de sonido con sus dos cornetas que le había comprado a la subgerente de administración de la agencia bancaria en la que trabajaba.

Realmente en la oficina todos éramos aficionados a la música. En Navidad el intercambio de regalos se gacía con discos

Y todos los sábados nos reuniamos en casa de la Sra. Pola - la Sra. encargada del mantenimiento de la oficina - a bailar.

En ese tiempo las fiestas eran divertidas porque se bailaba toda la noche.

Ahora he ido a una que otra fiesta: música a todo volumen, nadie baila, todo mundo metido en su celular, hasta que algún anfitrión avisa: -"Vamos a hacer una hora loca de diez minutos...va para Instagram"

Entonces todos bailan como si les gustara y ríen como si lo disfrutarán, pero de ser así, al termnar la grabación seguirían bailando. Lo cual no ocurre.

El móvil deja de grabar y todo el mundo vuelve a sentarse con la mirada fija en el celular y ya no habrá otro episodio de alegría hasta elomento de picar la torta porque "las fotos van para el Facebook"

Así se vive ahora. Sin embargo, escuchar e interpretar canciones de antes, no solo me recuerda ese "antes" sino que lo revivo y disfruto de nuevo.

Espero que está canción guste a los jóvenes y traiga gratos recuerdos a los de más edad.

This week I'm bringing you a song from the treasure chest of my memories: "Do You Want to Be My Lover?" by Camilo Sesto. It brings back memories of my youth. Back when I worked at a bank, every two weeks I'd go straight to the record store to buy the LPs of my favorite artists. Camilo Sesto was one of them. I remember buying the LP with 16 of his hits, a record that never got scratched—I don't know why, because I played it so much! At that time, I had a sound system with two speakers that I had bought from the assistant manager of administration at the bank branch where I worked.

And every Saturday, we would get together at Mrs. Pola's house—the woman in charge of office maintenance—to dance.

Back then, parties were fun because we danced all night long.

Now, I've been to a few parties: music blasting, nobody dancing, everyone glued to their phones, until some host announces: "Let's do a ten-minute 'crazy hour'...it's going on Instagram."

Then everyone dances as if they like it and laughs as if they're enjoying themselves, but if that were the case, they'd keep dancing after the recording ended. Which doesn't happen.

The phone stops recording and everyone sits back down, staring at their phones, and there won't be another moment of joy until it's time to cut the cake because "the photos are going on Facebook."

This is how life is now. However, listening to and performing songs from the past not only reminds me of that "past" but also allows me to relive and enjoy it all over again.

I hope this song appeals to young people and brings back fond memories for older generations.

Hola, comunidad, espero que está semana sea fructífera para todos, que nos enteremos de buenas noticias, que tengamos salud y energía y que todos nuestros seres queridos se encuentren bien.

Esta semana les traigo mi versión de la canción "Un beso y una flor" del inolvidable vocalista espalos Nino Bravo quien partiera de este plano debido a un accidente de tránsito y que - además de la pieza que interpreto - nos dejará canciones bellísimas como "Noelia", "Libre", "Cartas amarillas", "Te quiero, te quiero" todas canciones muy hermosas que les invito a buscar en Youtube para que las disfruten en esa voz maravillosa del gran Nino Bravo.

Este vocalista español se nos fue teniendo apenas 28 años de edad, el 16 de abril de 1973 debido a un trágico accidente de tráfico, en pleno apogeo de su carrera musical dejando s sus fans y al mundo artístico en general sorprendidos y profundamente dolidos.

Esta canción la dedico a todos los migrantes que han tenido qué dejar su tierra natal para buscar sustento posible para sus seres queridos, que es el caso del protagonista de la canción y quien comienza diciendo: "Dejaré mi tierra por tí" y se va impulsado por la búsqueda de la posibilidad de dar una mejor vida, una vida más digna, a quien ama.

"...dejaré los campos y me iré lejos de aquí"... de un medio rural se desplaza a la urbe, una urbe lejana. Lejanía que en estos tiempos se busca paliar con las vídeo llamadas pero que en la época en que esta canción impactó en el público, la comunicación con el ser querido lejano dependía de cartas enviadas por barco o por avión..Por barco eran más económicas pero podían tardar hasta meses en llegar. Por avión había qué gastar un poco más de dinero, pero las cartas llegaban con mayor rapidez.

No como ahora, por supuesto, que la comunicación es en tiempo real. Pero quizá una carta que llegaba por barco a los seis meses de haber sido enviada, quizá tardar solo una semana para cambiar de manos entre quien la enviaba y quien la recibía.

"... dejaré llorando el jardín y con tu recuerdo partiré lejos de aquí" ...para mí "el jardín" es todo aquello que sembró y vio florecer, tener qué dejarlo le causa profundo dolor, y lo único que puede llevarse y que le da fuerzas para hacerlo es : "y con tu recuerdo partiré,

lejos de aquí"

Solo el recuerdo con amor de la persona que se separa le da fuerzas para realizar esa separación.

"El día viviré pensando en tu sonrisa..." una letra sencilla pero muy emotiva y conmovedora si nos ponemos en el lugar del protagonista de la canción y de todas las personas del mundo que están viviendo casos similares.

Quiera Dios que se den las condiciones para que puedan regresar pronto a los brazos de sus seres queridos.

Hello everyone, I hope this week is fruitful for all of you, that we receive good news, that we have health and energy, and that all our loved ones are well.

This week I bring you my version of the song "Un beso y una flor" by the unforgettable Spanish vocalist Nino Bravo, who left this world in a car accident. Besides the song I'm performing, he left us with beautiful songs like "Noelia," "Libre," "Cartas amarillas," and "Te quiero, te quiero"—all wonderful songs that I encourage you to find on YouTube to enjoy in the marvelous voice of the great Nino Bravo.

This Spanish vocalist left us at just 28 years old, on April 16, 1973, due to a tragic car accident, at the height of his musical career, leaving his fans and the artistic world in general shocked and deeply saddened.

I dedicate this song to all the migrants who have had to leave their homeland to find a way to provide for their loved ones, as is the case with the song's protagonist, who begins by saying, "I will leave my land for you," driven by the desire to give a better, more dignified life to the one he loves.

"...I will leave the fields and go far away from here"... from a rural environment he moves to the city, a distant city. A distance that in these times we try to alleviate with video calls, but back when this song resonated with the public, communication with a distant loved one depended on letters sent by ship or plane. By ship they were cheaper but could take months to arrive. By plane, it cost a bit more, but the letters arrived much faster.

Not like now, of course, when communication is in real time. But perhaps a letter arriving by ship six months after being sent might only take a week to change hands between sender and recipient.

Only the loving memory of the person they are leaving gives them the strength to go through with that separation.

"I'll live the day thinking of your smile..." A simple yet deeply moving and poignant lyric if we put ourselves in the shoes of the song's protagonist and all the people around the world experiencing similar situations.

Un gran saludo a toda la comunidad de amantes de la música que se integran en @hiveopenmic.

Espero que todos tengan salud y bienestar a nivel mental, físico y espiritual y que el "hacer música" esté lleno de momentos gratos tanto para ustedes cómo para cuantos les rodean.

En esta semana 301 la temática es "Alguien a quien amar" . Hay una canción bellísima llamada "Amémonos" que pone en labios de la protagonista de la historia las frases "...yo presentí en el mundo tu existencia y como a Dios - sin verte - te adoré". Sin embargo, la canción que traigo no tiene un mensaje como ese en que se presiente que hay un ser especial, diferente, único, tal vez lo que a veces se define como "alma gemela" y en esa convicción se le comienza a querer primero y a amar después hasta que aparezca en la vida ya no se la imaginación sino real para felicidad de ambos.

Sin embargo, este no es el caso de la canción que traigo, que fue cantado por Gilberto Santa Rosa con el género "Salsa" y por Lucero como "Balada".

Esta canción nace de un desamor, de la ausencia del ser amado, de un vacío al lado pero también de un amor enquistado que en su imposibilidad de ser olvidado ha hecho imposible que se pueda amar de nuevo.

Un amor que cuando parece que se olvidó y que esposo le amar a otra persona reaparece con más fuerza.

Es un grito pidiendo auxilio, pidiendo ayuda, solicitando se le enseñe cómo arrancarse para siempre ese amor del corazón y entonces se busca a alguien... Sin mucho criterio de selección, simplemente "el que sea venga mí, por favor"

Esto me hace recordar que hace unos cuantos años atrás, en una reunión de tipo formal, tomó la palabra un anciano dispuesto a relatar "las edades de la mujer en el amor," , después que capturó nuestra atención dijo que la mujer a los 20 es selectiva, a la hora de pensar en una pareja piensa "que venga, tenga y convenga", a los 30 "que venga y convenga aunque no tenga", a los 40 el "que venga aunque no tenga ni convenga" y a los 50 aunque no venga, ni tenga, ni convenga "¡A por él, que agarrando aunque sea fallo!"

Todos reímos su ocurrencia aunque una que otra dama se dió por ofendida...tal vez se sintió aludida. Lo cierto es que algo similar es lo que vive la protagonista de esta canción, pero tratando de paliar ese dolor interno por un amor que se fue en físico pero sigue presente en su corazón y quisiera arrancar de allí.

A big shout out to the entire community of music lovers who are part of @hiveopenmic.

I hope that you all have health and well-being on a mental, physical and spiritual level and that "making music" is full of pleasant moments both for you and for those around you.

In this week 301 the theme is "Someone to love". There is a beautiful song called "Amémonos" that puts the phrases on the lips of the protagonist of the story "...I sensed your existence in the world and like God - without seeing you - I adored you." However, the song that I bring does not have a message like that in which one senses that there is a special, different, unique being, perhaps what is sometimes defined as a "soul mate" and in that conviction one begins to love him first and love later until he appears in life, no longer an imagination but a real one for the happiness of both.

However, this is not the case of the song I bring, which was sung by Gilberto Santa Rosa with the genre "Salsa" and by Lucero as "Balada".

This song is born from a lack of love, from the absence of the loved one, from an emptiness at one's side but also from an entrenched love that, in its impossibility of being forgotten, has made it impossible to love again.

A love that when it seems that it was forgotten and that a husband loves another person reappears with more strength.

It is a cry asking for help, asking for help, requesting to be taught how to tear that love from your heart forever and then you look for someone... Without much selection criteria, simply "whoever he is, come to me, please"

The truth is that something similar is what the protagonist of this song experiences, but trying to alleviate that internal pain for a love that is gone physically but is still present in her heart and she would like to start from there.

Se trata del tema "Lamento Borincano" , este tema lo compuso para Puerto Rico el mùsico Rafael Hernández en el año 1929. Hacia 1929 Puerto Rico vivía un momento de pobreza mayor incluso que en tiempos de España como consecuencia de la Gran Depresión, crisis económica mundial ocurrida en 1929 y que se prolongó hasta la década de 1940.

It is the song "Lamento Borincano" (Borincano Lament), this song was composed for Puerto Rico by the musician Rafael Hernández in 1929. Around 1929, Puerto Rico was experiencing a time of poverty even greater than in the times of Spain as a consequence of the Great Depression, a global economic crisis that occurred in 1929 and lasted until the 1940s.

Han sido varios los vocalistas que han interpretado esta pieza, yo la conocì en la voz de mi mamá. Tiempo después de escuchársela a ella y aprenderla fue que la vine oyendo en voces de artistas profesionales como Daniel Santos y Javier Solìs, entre otros. El video que les comparto es la versión de Daniel Santos (1916 - 1992) "El Inquieto Anacobero" aunque al interpretarla notarán que - como siempre - tengo mi propia versión de la misma.

Este "Lamento borincano" que reflejó la realidad de Puerto Rico en un momento dado, lamentablemente no ha perdido vigencia ya que siempre hay un pueblo o varios que parecen ser descritos en su letra. Hay quien dice que la historia se repite, hasta la canción [ "Por la vuelta"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCnNx3z36S4&list=RDUCnNx3z36S4&start_radio=1) dice "...La historia vuelve a repetirse, mi muñequita dulce y rubia, el mismo amor... la misma lluvia... el mismo, el mismo loco afán... " Los que pintamos canas la recordamos - la canción "Por la vuelta" -en las voces de Felipe Pirela y también en la de Julio Jaramillo.

Recuerdo que hace añales leía una novela donde un personaje le decía a otro: "Yo, como los pueblos felices, no tengo historia" Con razón todos los pueblos tienen historias. A veces son cíclicas, suben , bajan, otras son de las que suben y se quedan ahí, y otras de las que bajan y se quedan ahí.

Esta canción representa la historia triste de un pueblo sumido en la pobreza y la necesidad visto desde la micro historia de uno de sus habitantes, un jibarito.

Investigando, como hacemos cada vez que vamos a teraer una canción para Hive, sabiendo de antemano que ser jíbaro es pertenecer a una etnia específica, encontré detalles más precisos al respecto, y así me enteré que es la etnia de un pueblo amerindio de la vertiente oriental del Ecuador.Sin embargo, cuando en Puerto Rico se utiliza el término "jíbaro" se refieren a los puertorriqueños o boricuas que habitan en el centro de la isla, en la región montañosa, quienes todavía en 1898, guardaba mucho de la cultura originaria de sus antepasados. era un agricultor - vendedor autosuficiente, cultivaban los alimentos que luego vendían en pueblos cercanos a sus fincas para comprar lo básico para sus familias, como ropa y enseres.

I remember that years ago I was reading a novel where one character said to another: "I, like happy people, have no history." No wonder all people have stories. This song represents the sad story of a town mired in poverty and need seen from the micro story of one of its inhabitants, a jibarito.

Researching, as we do every time we are going to play a song for Hive, knowing in advance that to be a jíbaro is to belong to a specific ethnic group, I found more precise details about it, and thus I learned that it is the ethnicity of an Amerindian people from the eastern slope of Ecuador. However, when the term "jíbaro" is used in Puerto Rico, they refer to the Puerto Ricans or Boricuas who live in the center of the island, in the region mountainous, who still in 1898, kept much of the original culture of their ancestors. Por otro lado, quienes sientan curiosidad por saber el origen del término "Inquieto anacobero" con el que se conocía a Daniel Santos, cuyo video comparto acá, resulta que en la lengua ñáñiga de Cuba, "anacobero" quiere decir "diablillo", y hacía referencia a que él era un bohemio y parrandero.

Espero que esta canción les agrade con su melodìa dulce y nostalgica y su lírica tan cercana a la vida de muchos pueblos del ayer y del hoy.
