Hello, community of music lovers, we are now in week 291 of the Hive Open Mic. This time the suggested theme is "Harmonious Autumn". The seasons of the year have always been an important point in the creative world of composers, authors and poets.
We can do a melodic tour, fair and necessary would be to start with "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi., considered the best composition of this genius of baroque music. Songs like "Verano" by Caramelos de Cianuro and many more, explore the possibilities that the muses find in the different seasons of the year. Summer is associated with party, joy, vacations. Winter with senescence. Spring with rebirth. Autumn does not escape the favoritism of composers and I remembered the fantastic Spanish singer-songwriter José Luis Perales and his beautiful song "Autumn Song"
"Autumn Song" is a romantic ballad with a Latin pop rhythm. It is part of the studio album "Autumn Time" recorded - and released - in 1979.
Here in Venezuela the successful 'And how is he' led us to meet this very talented artist. And his "Autumn Song" appeared in our musical panorama with the empty swallows' nests, with the umbrellas passing in front of the balcony, with the ticking of the clock in the corridor. With a strong nostalgia for the absence of the loved one who is remembered as "the spring breeze, the clarity."
I hope that my version of this beautiful song finds an echo in your tastes and is to your liking.

Today I bring you an "oldie" song, as the saying goes: "old, old, old, but good, good, good." It's "All My Lovin'," a song recorded on July 30, 1963, by the unforgettable British group "The Beatles" on their album "With the Beatles."
It is a romantic song, a farewell, linked to the promise to write home daily during the time of separation.
Of course, in those days "writing daily" meant writing letters by hand to send them by sea (by ships) or by air (by plane, a little more expensive but faster) and then there was the waiting time for the letter to arrive and be answered later.
For me, aside from the melody, rhythm, and lyrics of the song, I love the memories it brings back. I was only about four years old at the time, and I had the opportunity to spend my childhood surrounded by the incomparable music of the Beatles.
At my grandmother's house, they bought all of their records, not a single one missing. I remember that for me they were "the Chinese guy" (John Lennon), "the pretty one" (Paul McCartney), "the neighbor" (George Harrison) - I don't remember why I called him that, and "my favorite" (Ringo Starr) because "I loved his nose."
I hope you like my interpretation and enjoy this beautiful and unforgettable song.

This week, Hive Open Mic's proposal is for us to perform "Cat Songs," that is, songs that tell us about kittens. I imagine there will be those who, upon seeing the title of the song I'm bringing—"El Ratón"—will jokingly say, "What happened to @sayury? Did she go crazy and didn't warn us?"
And it's not that I want to, nor am I contradicting you. It just so happens that this song, which is called "El Ratón," is about a cat. A cat named Silvestre Felino, a party animal and a reveler, but who has a big problem: when he goes to a party, "wherever he goes, his wife - cat will come looking for him."
There's no point in him trying to escape at night, jumping over the fence, because as soon as the fun begins, she arrives, and he has to "run away." The crux of the matter is that he doesn't know that the gossip, the one who keeps the cat informed of everything he does, is... a mouse.
Singing this song took me a little out of my comfort zone. This salsa song was a huge hit with the unforgettable Chero Feliciano, who not only performed it but also composed it in the 1960s.
I hope you like my version of it and that you also like my kitties, who lent themselves to pose for this occasion.
