Hello community, I hope everyone is having a good time and that we have strength and hope to face and overcome those moments of complication that appear from time to time.
The theme suggested in this week 293 is very striking: "Opening seas". The image that identifies this week is that of Moses, the man in front of whom the sea parted to allow him to lead God's chosen people to the promised land. At one point he failed and lost the privilege of entering Canaan with the people, which Joshua, son of Nun, did in his place. Moses died before entering the promised land. This is how delicate the spiritual path is.
This narrative has a double reading: the historical reading of what happened in the past and the reading applied to our own life through faith, when circumstances, regrets and inconveniences seem like stormy seas that do not allow us passage.
As humans we can do nothing useful, but we believe in the God of Moses, in the God of miracles. If we trust in Him, He will allow us to break through and move forward.
I bring a song that became hit in Venezuela several decades ago in the Portuguese language in the voice of the Brazilian vocalist Martinha.
Some time later, Venezuelan vocalist Nancy Ramos recorded a version in Spanish and it became fashionable again for its light lyrics and "catchy" melody. I hope my presentation is to your liking.
The song sings to the sea, emphasizes being its possessor, then describes its movement, its waves. Then a small boat is mentioned heading to the sandbank. I researched about it, and I found that a "restinga" is a point or tongue of sand or stone under water and at a shallow depth. Nothing to do with the vague and imprecise idea that I had about it
Lo demás es todo claro y comprensible. Espero les guste mi interpretación
The rest is all clear and understandable. I hope you like my interpretation

A big hello to the entire VDC community, which is growing larger every day. I hope everyone is doing well, is healthy, has those necessary "points of enthusiasm" in their daily lives, and has hope, even if it is somewhat vague.
My entry this week features a traditional rhythm, although the musical theme itself isn't well-known. When I saw that this season's theme would be Christmas music, it brought back memories of my childhood, a moment of reconnecting with my maternal uncle, Alejandro Tovar. He was a self-taught musician, a "guataquero" (a term for someone who plays guitar and guitar), who played the cuatro, guitar, and tres, and composed some very beautiful, romantic songs. However, it's fair to say that he truly shone when the Christmas season arrived.
Since October, the family would gather EVERY NIGHT in the living room of my grandmother Gumersinda's house – whom my brothers and I called Mamagrande and the neighbors called "Doña Gume" – to rehearse the Christmas carols we would sing on Christmas night in front of the nativity scene that my aunt Maria would make. This rehearsal was accompanied by my uncle Alejandro's cuatro and by the sonajas – a kind of tambourine but made with fragments of broomsticks, flattened soda bottle caps and small nails.
One Christmas he composed one called "Along that path" and made it clear that this would serve both for Christmas and for the Paradura del Niño since it spoke of a Child Jesus who came walking.
It comes playing along that way
Vamos a recibirlos con gran alegría a
Let us welcome them with great joy:
Todos venimos cantando
We all come singing
A Jesús que viene
To Jesus who comes

A big greeting to the entire Hive Open Mic community, wishing that the music we love will accompany moments of joyful togetherness with family and friends. May we have health, may we have peace, may we have harmony and may we never lack hope and faith.
I am extremely pleased to participate with this topic in week 292 of Hive Open Mic on the website 3 hive.blog.com, a blockchain where musicians find a lot of support and the opportunity to socialize with music lovers from all over the world
This week Hive Open Mic proposes the theme "Mouving mountains" which immediately takes us to the famous phrases of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Mt.17:20
"...truly I say to you, if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you..." Mt.17:20
¡Cambian vidas!
What is the mountain in your life that you need to move but haven't yet turned over to God in prayer? Think, analyze and activate. Daily prayer, prayer of faith accompanied by the works of love for others that God enjoys seeing in us... They change lives!
This song "The Man from the Top", composed by the remembered Venezuelan musician Edgar Alexander, who at the time also recorded the vocalist José Luis Rodríguez "El Puma", presents us with a man who, from the top of a mountain, raising his eyes to the sky, raises his supplications not for his own needs but for those of the rest of the people. Generous prayer.
When Jesus taught the apostles to pray, he did so with the Lord's Prayer, a community prayer where it is not asked from the I but from the we. It is not give me bread but give us bread. And the whole prayer follows that tone
May the eternal Father, by the power of his Son and the strength of the Holy Spirit, grant us the grace to grow in faith and good works, because the Word also says "Faith without works is dead" James 2:14
