Look at your current team members you're closely working with and ask yourself: "Are your team members amplifiers or detractors? Are they bringing out the absolute best in you? Do you feel excited, and do you look forward to meeting with them? Or do you end up in a place where you feel completely drained when you meet with them?"
Amplifiers are individuals who enhance the team, the company, and the overall business with their positive impact. They bring out the best in others and contribute significantly to the company's progress. Detractors, on the other hand, are not necessarily bad people or employees with bad intentions. They may perform well in their roles but do not contribute positively to the team culture, dynamic, or business growth. They unintentionally hinder progress and can negatively affect the team's morale and productivity.
Listen to the full episode if you want to learn more about how amplifiers can elevate your team's potential, as well as understand the subtleties of dealing with detractors.
In this episode, you'll discover:
- Identifying Amplifiers and Detractors in Your Team
- Characteristics of Amplifiers
- Characteristics of Detractors
- Important Considerations in Hiring

Why is conversion copywriting important in helping business grow? And how can a clear, compact and concise copy increase your conversion rates and sales?
Conversion copywriting plays a crucial role in the success of any business. It involves crafting compelling and persuasive content that resonates with your target audience, grabs their attention, and motivates them to take action. A well-written sales page can effectively communicate your brand's value proposition, highlight the benefits of your products or services, and create a sense of trust and credibility. Copywriting also extends to other marketing aspects such as social media, ads, brochures, and blog posts. Each piece of content should be carefully crafted to convey your brand's message, showcase its unique selling points, and prompt the desired action from your audience.
Today, I am joined by Sage Polaris, who I know from a women's networking group. We will explore the impact of copywriting on conversion rates and why it's essential to get it right.
"Copy conversion means understanding how to write more effective copy and messaging that will land with your audience." – Sage Polaris
