This week on the Scale Your Smal Business Podcast with Jillian Flodstrom, Jillian is sitting down with Johanna Buchweitz. Johanna uses her time helping female entrepreneurs use theirs efficiently. She's developing an app that helps women in business get immediate, actionable answers to some of the most pressing questions in entrepreneurship.
Johanna sees a common thread running through the clients she works with, no matter their industry or where they are in their growth: mindset. Having the right mindset can make all the difference in the world. Mindset fills the gaps that strategy doesn't cover. By eliminating doubt within yourself, you eliminate it from the person you're selling to.
Johanna's inspiration for developing her app sprouted from her background in tech and her passion for helping women maximize their talents. The purpose of the app is to provide you with exactly what you're looking for. Through an AI-built algorithm, Frankly Co provides a search engine where the answers are catered to what you need, customized for you, your industry, and anything else you can imagine. Plus, it goes the extra step giving actionable steps to utilize all the information that's out there. That way, you're saving time, money, and energy. As an example, scaling your business through hiring can be made easy through an app that tells you how to get help, where to look, and what to pay.
As the app is powered by AI, the most beta testers it can get before its full release, the better. It helps build out the algorithm to help women find the answers they need to scale their business, and it helps work out any kinks along the way. You can sign up for early access and help this revolutionary app become the best next thing at franklyco.com.
Johanna is also the host of the Limitless podcast, where she has honest, frank discussions with driven female leaders. The point of the podcast is to give listeners actionable items they can take with them and implement immediately.

Today on the Scale Your Small Business Podcast with Jillian Flodstrom, Jill is breaking down vision boarding. Making a vision board can be fun, it can also be very inspiring for your business, and it can keep you laser-focused on your goals. Often, entrepreneurs don't allow themselves to dream and get bogged down in the day-to-day slog of it all. Let's calm that chaos.
First things first: a vision board can be whatever you want it to be. It can be the traditional, large poster style board, it could be purely digital visualization, it could be a Pinterest board, or it could be a small page in your planner. Your board could be purely visual, it could incorporate text, or it could be purely text in the form of a word bubble. It's easy to forget your 'why' and creating this vision board can be a place for us to dream, get excited about your business again, check in with our goals, and make sure we're on track for where we need to be.
When building your vision board, be intentional about your objective. This could be where you want to be at the end of the month, quarter, year, or even 10 years down the road. Whatever works best for you is what you should do. Set aside time to make it, and consider going through the process with a friend.
Fear can be huge for a lot of entrepreneurs. There are a lot of unknowns out there. Calling that to the front of your mind and knowing no matter how difficult, you're prepared, is even bigger.
Another thing to keep in mind is where your vision board is going to live. This may dictate the size and style of your board but doesn't change the goals. It can live on your wall, in your planner, or on your phone. Wherever it is, make sure you check off things or cross them out when you achieve them. They can be daily goals, weekly, or even bigger.
Finally, you're going to evolve, your business is going to evolve, and so will your goals. It's okay to alter your vision board as you go!

Today on the Scale Your Small Business Podcast, Jillian is sitting down with Christy Primmer, a world-renowned thought leader on self-care and financial empowerment for women. She spent two decades facilitating trauma counseling, and recently retired from The College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and Health Canada. Now she's transitioned into the speaking and coaching industry. As a personal development author, Christy is obsessed with helping women create their epic life.
Christy's background is in counseling, and after 23 years of helping men, women, and youth improve their self-confidence and self-esteem, she recognized that while rewarding, the line of work was exceptionally draining. However, at its core, trauma counseling is rooted in the mentorship of a therapeutic relationship. And so that mentorship translated to successful coaching naturally.
In her work with women, Christy believes the biggest thing holding women back when it comes to finances is confidence. It's shaped by our upbringing, but every day is a journey of growth and empowerment.
The first place to start building that confidence is by making the decision that you want to live differently. Once you make that decision, take action. Christy sees women holding off on big leaps of faith and investments, but it's okay to start small. Micro-doses of change are consistent and sustainable and will get you to the same goal.
Stop negotiating your boundaries. When you stop breaking promises to yourself, Christy says, you'll see massive improvements in your financial and personal growth.
As the world transitions back into in-person conferences and events, Christy's number one tip when getting into the scene is to reach out beforehand. DM people on Instagram prior to the event and let them know you're going and would love to meet them. That way, the 'meet you there' feeling is mutual, and the ice is already broken.
Christy's biggest piece of advice is to invest in your mindset. Allow yourself to understand your money, your process, and your trajectory. Having a mentor can help you increase that rate of growth and get you over challenges with ease.

Welcome back to the Scale Your Small Busines Podcast with your host, Jillian Flodstrom! Today, we're talking about delegation. Where to start, how to keep it going, and where you can actually end up making more money. Let's dive in.
The best way to start thinking about delegation is through a list. List out everything you have to do on that day. Once you've laid it out, simply pick your least favorite item on the list–bam, there's your first delegated item.
By delegating your least favorite task, not only do you get the time back in your day, you get the mental space and energy back. When you have a task you don't want to do, you naturally tend to procrastinate. And we all know what happens when we procrastinate–more procrastination.
If there's a difficult task that would take time to learn, there's a good chance there's someone out there who specializes in it. When you do that, you're supporting your own business by hiring an expert, plus you're supporting another small business in a ripple effect.
When we go back to the list we made, it gives us an opportunity to consider combining tasks into a larger position that can be group-delegated to a specialist. Then, you're able to free up even more time in your day in one swoop.
If something pops up, write it down! Keep your list going as tasks evolve. Use a notebook, a phone, a napkin–just list!
If you're wondering how you're going to afford all this, that's the easy part. When you have such a significantly large chunk of your day given back to you, it gives you room for ideas and space to create more streams of revenue.
