It's a talent we talk about and Bo lays down some fish behavior patterns here has noticed while graph fishing. For not even owning a bait I took away knowledge about fishing behavior in deeper water that I think could be replicated anywhere with similar depth.

Join Eli and me as we talk about his start of building baits, painting, and starting his bait company. Eli started his bait-making career a few years ago and by the sounds of it, he hasn't looked back yet. With limited tools and knowledge, he has made leaps and bounds from his start. Now making wake baits like the scrambler and new salamander he has been working on. His scrambler bait is a smaller wake bait that could be one of the most beginner-friendly swimbaits made. While his salamander is still in the works but sounds like a fish-catching bait. The amount of time and thought Eli has put into the salamander makes me excited to see it and maybe snag one for myself.

Dylan is a SoCal saltwater/freshwater swimbait guy. While still being a little newer to the swimbait thing he's put in some serious time into it and it's shown. While most of us guys only fish our crazy expensive baits in fresh water, Dylan talks about a small niche group of guys who venture into the salty side of things for saltwater bass. He explains how they slow roll yunique soft baits over eel grass and wait for that hard thud of a fish hitting the bait. But while he enjoys that he says it is hard to beat catching good green fish also. Some of the stories he tells make me realize southern strain and northern strain along with a couple of thousand miles may not make all of our fish that different. They are all intrigued with our baits, it's more about if they are aggressive enough to tango with a bait half their size or bigger sometimes.
