I want to talk to you about something that I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. A concept that I’m going to call “Know Your Bullet”. When you’re stepping into leadership and you want to go to the next level, you have to know your bullet.
It might be difficult, it might hurt, but in order to step into your next level, you have to identify your bullets, those things in your life that keep you from doing what you truly want to do, and figure out how you are going to move past them. What’s your game plan? How are you going to reroute? How are you going to face the struggle and still continue to show up for your dream?
I’m not saying we don’t all have to take a minute sometimes. Life throws us curveballs. But sometimes, we don’t show up for what we said we would show up for because we have our own bullet, something that we give more power than it deserves.
No one said this was going to be easy, but trust me when I tell you: it is so worth it. You’ve got this.

What magnetizes me to Kate Erickson isn’t really her accolades (which are impressive) or her sales funnel (which is unbelievable), it is more of who she is. She has this magnetic nature, full of humility and calm energy. She has this clarity of vision and this generous spirit and kindness that made you feel like you are hanging out by the pool with an old friend. I learned so much from her on this trip.
You might know Kate--or not realize that you know Kate! If you know Entrepreneurs on Fire, you know Kate, because she's literally the engine that makes that powerhouse go. Her boyfriend and sidekick, John Lee Dumas, is the face of EO Fire, but Kate is the backend of the multimillion dollar business that has touched thousands and thousands of lives through their podcast, courses, products, and their incredible and thriving community.
It was extra special to have Kate on the show because I got to hear more about her journey and learn firsthand how they found unbelievable success by ditching busy, getting insanely laser focused on their craft, and creating their product suite and sales funnel to attract the right people who are ready to buy.
Doesn't that sound appealing? There is so much wisdom in this episode brought to you from years on the front lines because Kate was on them. You'll want a notebook and a pen ready because you're going to learn how to get laser-focused, how to pinpoint your action plan for growth and how to step into that next level of monetization in your business.

This is a pep talk for you, but this is also a pep talk for myself today too. I’m talking about taking the time to truly celebrate our wins.
I am so bad at this. I’m a 3 on the Enneagram (Achiever). I have crazy big ambitions and goals that I push really hard for. But as soon as I achieve them, I don’t even take a beat to celebrate it and recognize how far I have come. My mind immediately jumps to, “What’s next??”
Life is 99.99% about the journey. When we don’t take the time to pause along the way and celebrate where we are, we are focusing too much attention on the destination, the .01%, and that makes it feel like we are never winning. That big goal you are pushing for? It’s not the only win along the way.
Click play to hear what I’ve decided to do to start to recognize and celebrate my little goals! It’s so simple, but I think it will make a world of difference in enjoying the journey.
Does this resonate with you? Or do you make it a habit to stop and celebrate your wins along the way? Send me a DM and let me know what you do!

Today’s pep talk is all about just taking the next step; send the pitch!
This is what I mean by that…
Back when I first jumped into entrepreneurship, I had just quit my job and was in this limbo space of, Oh my gosh, I have no money. I have to make money!
So I started building up my confidence muscle by pitching myself to different clients. I was trying to use the skill sets I already had in marketing to move the needle forward in my business.
Let me be clear: I did not know what I was doing. But with every pitch and every rejection (because I got many!), I learned so much. I think it’s so important that we just sometimes take the action steps and let the emotion behind the steps catch up to us later.
