  • Ep# 083: Prioritizing YOU to Feel + Do Your Best with Amanda Walker

Do you ever just meet a sweet soul that you feel completely connected to the first time you meet them and you just kind of admire how they do everything that they do? Today I am introducing you to someone who did that for me, but I am also having her on Scaling Up because I'm so certain you're going to feel the same way when you hear her speak.

Amanda Walker is a health style coach and her mission on this planet is to empower women to feel (get this!) amazing naked. That's right, I said it, naked. But it's not what you might think! She uses a holistic approach and a no B.S. way to work with women to unearth the root causes of their insecurities. She's not just getting her clients into a body that they love, but a life that they love. Everything is interconnected.

Amanda is a wife and a mama of two, so going into Mother's Day, I thought it would be the perfect time for us Mavericks to talk about how to pause for a second and figure out how to prioritize ourselves and our health and really how to step into the most vibrant and best version of ourselves. That's where we get to step into a higher level of creation. You are going to fall in love with Amanda. By the end of this, you're going to be feeling amazing naked.

    We Chat About:

    • Hitting a Wall in Our Potential
    • Embracing Monotony and Routine
    • Choosing to Feel Good
    • Simple Ways to Start to Feel Better

  • Ep #082: [Pep Talk] Which Camp Do You Fall Into?

Are you a visionary? Or are you more of a practical thinker?

Most of us lean more heavily one way or the other, and some of us are even solely devoted to just one of those two camps. I see it all the time in the entrepreneurs I work with in my mastermind. We identify as either a creative visionary or a practical realist.

But according to John Maxwell, in order to be truly successful, a leader has to be able to embody both of these very different qualities and abilities!

The Visionaries--they are the dreamers. They can picture exactly what success looks like and they can come up with a million ideas on the road to getting there. It’s a beautiful thing to listen to a visionary in full on dream mode. BUT (you knew this was coming, didn’t you?!), many leaders who identify solely as visionaries don’t do enough practical thinking to actually bring these beautiful ideas to life!

The Practical Realists are in another camp. These leaders can see all the steps it takes to accomplish something big and impactful. They want to study every possible angle, they take the courses, they read the books. They often focus on the “how” of making something happen. BUT, many solely practical leaders aren’t able to picture the grand vision of what could be. They often get stuck where they’re at and then begin to doubt themselves.

If you stay in just one of these camps, eventually you get stuck. The idea is to find a mix of both.

As leaders, our job is to dream and envision the future, but we also have to have a practical nature in order to develop the strategy and the action plan to bring that vision to life.

So, determine: are you too much in one camp? What can you do today to start to move the needle toward the middle of the two so that your dream can actually come to life?

  • Ep# 081: Crafting Your Vision + Mission Statements

We all want nothing more than to have people jump on board with our mission, right?

And it’s tough when we see other people out there in business with what seems like hoards of people cheering them on and celebrating their wins and whipping out their credit cards ready to buy whatever they bring to market.

    But here’s the thing...

They had to have some serious clarity to create that kind of movement.

And for people to follow you, you need to know where you’re going.

In this episode I’m breaking down the science behind crafting both your vision and mission statements so you can feel confident in what you’re here to do, ready to shout it from the rooftops so other people can get on board with it, too!

By the end of today’s episode, you’ll know how to create your own solid statements. • Ep #080: [Pep Talk] The Truth About Your Health

If you’ve been following me for any period of time, even like 5 minutes, you know how obsessed I am with optimizing my health. And there’s really no greater time in our history to talk about this topic than right now! This could be a needle mover for so many of you listening in.

Don’t wait for a doctor, a pandemic, a diagnosis to scare you into realizing that your days are limited; they already are. So when it comes to taking care of yourself, what are you waiting for?! Your body is your biggest asset. Your body is what you operate your business out of. If your brain is not firing on all cylinders, imagine what you are leaving on the table.

So many entrepreneurs overlook this area, and it’s costly. If you want to start optimizing your own health, but you don’t know where to even begin, I would love to help! I’ve been studying this for almost a decade. Click here to schedule a (free!) 15-minute Health Optimization call with me and I’ll give you suggestions based on what I know to work.

We’re Mavericks. We think differently and we operate differently. We’re not perfect, we don’t have it all figured out, but as we figure it out and we realize how we can up level, we go for it.

  • Ep# 079: Creating Multiple Revenue Streams with Natalie Sisson

Once in a while I have someone on the show and their message and their mission so deeply resonates with what we’re doing here at Scaling Up. I had one of those moments when I talked to Natalie Sisson.

She’s just a true representation of a bootstrap entrepreneur because she has done it all, and she has done it all by pulling up those bootstraps and making it happen. She’s a two time best-selling author, she’s a podcast host with over 1.5 million downloads, she ditched corporate and started a tech company, then she monetized her blog, and she developed a multiple six-figure online education platform with eight different revenue streams.Natalie is the perfect person to have on to talk about all things having to do with having multiple channels of income flowing into and through your business.

If you don’t want to be a one-trick pony with a weak foundation (you don’t!) and you’re ready to learn how to develop more income streams into your business, tune in!

    We chat about:

    • How Natalie Monetized Her Business in the Beginning Stages

    • We All Have Parts of Us That are Monetizable

    • The Importance of Multiple Income Streams
    • Shifting Your Business Model to Support Your Goals
