故事：（Gùshì）Story

有个女生和室友在校外合租，房间两室一厅，干净整洁。Yǒu gè nǚshēng hé shìyǒu zài xiàowài hézū, fángjiān liǎng shì yī tīng, gānjìng zhěngjié.

There was a girl who shared a room with her roommate off campus. The room had two bedrooms and one living room, and was clean and tidy.

半夜，女生听到自己头顶上的墙面传来阵阵指甲盖划墙的声音，尖厉刺耳，说不出的难受。

Bànyè, nǚshēng tīng dào zìjǐ tóudǐng shàng de qiáng miàn chuán lái zhèn zhèn zhǐ jia gài huà qiáng de shēngyīn, jiānlì cì'ěr, shuō bu chū de nánshòu.

In the middle of the night, the girl heard the sound of fingernails scratching on the wall above her head. It was sharp and harsh and unspeakably uncomfortable. She knew that her roommate was usually naughty and loved to joke around.

她知道自己的室友平时胡闹顽皮，最爱开玩笑。Tā zhīdào zìjǐ de shìyǒu píngshí húnào wánpí, zuì ài kāiwánxiào.

She knew that her roommate was a total prankster and loved joking around.

于是掏出手机给室友发了条微信: “亲爱的，别闹了”. Yúshì tāo chū shǒujī gěi shìyǒu fāle tiáo wēixìn: Qīn'ài de, bié nàole.

So she took out her cell phone and sent a WeChat message to her roommate: “Dear, stop messing around.”

室友回道: “什么闹不闹的? 我男朋友来了，今天不回去住了.” Shìyǒu huí dào: “Shénme nào bù nào de? Wǒ nán péngyǒu láile, jīntiān bù huíqù zhùle.”

The roommate replied: “What do you mean “messing around?” My boyfriend is here and so I won’t be home today.”
