Scatterbrain Podcast

Hi! Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 148 is pure... Banter, Blather, Blather, Banter... Vol. IX.

Not really sure what to say about this episode. It is TRULY a scatterbrained mess! We get through it without talking about music once! I know! Right? Don't drink and podcast, friends. It ends up like this. Enjoy the disjointed, drunken nonsense .

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 147!

If you were alive and of at least school-age, you probably remember where you were on January 28, 1986, when The Challenger space shuttle disaster occurred. One thing you may not know is the conspiracy theory surrounding this event. The excitement leading up to the mission was squashed by the subsequent catastrophe. What happened and why?

We also check out the sophomore release “Supraliminal” by Nothingness, from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Please don't forget to like/rate/review on your preferred podcast platform. It really does help.  Thanks for listening!

First: quotes, quotes, quotes! Then some more metal news before we review the new album, "The Fires Of Heaven" by Boston thrashers Malleus.

Then we ponder The Bootes Void, also known as the Great Nothing. Or as The 'Brains call it, "The Big Booty". This is an interesting one, so enjoy!

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 145: Tabby's Star.

This week we talk about tricks of the music recording industry, Britney Spears ( you read that right ), Nervosa and Crypta band news, the difficulty finding and keeping a decent drummer, and other assorted music-based banter.

Then, we review the new album, "Emperor Of The Weak" by German thrashers Fateful Finality.

And to wrap it all up, our topic this week is a real head scratcher: Tabby's Star. Also known as WTF Star, or officially KIC 8462852. Located in the Cygnus Constellation System, this star is winking at us, as if to say, "You humans really don't know anything."

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 144!

This week, we review the self-titled crossover debut from Heaven's Gate.

Then, we talk about and consider some theories and mysteries surrounding the moon and its formation. There are lots of interesting thoughts around the moon and its composition; some more credible than others. What does the future hold for exploration of the moon, and what awaits the next wave of missions to the moon?

Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 143: Mel's Hole.

Our main topic this week is a tale told by Mel Waters to Art Bell back in 1997 on Coast to Coast AM. It is a good story. An interesting tale. But, is that all it is? Just a fun and creepy story? Or is it true? Is Mel Waters even a real person? You decide.

We start this week by talking more space stuff - of course! The JWT is creating even more questions with new and confounding discoveries. Is the Earth hollow and inhabited? Is the Moon an artificial structure? And how far is 100 LY actually, relatively speaking? It's becoming apparent that the more humanity discovers, the less we actually know.

Then we delve into a bit a metal history by trash-talking a band that you may have heard of... because some bands stay true to their sound and themselves. Like Florida death-metal legends Obituary. This week we review their new album, "Dying of Everything".

Thanks for listening everyone! If you think of us as your friends, it's because we are!
