Synopsis
A celebrated Sicilian director returns home for the funeral of an old friend, recounting his coming-of-age through flashbacks centered around the village’s cinema.

Starring Phiippe Noiret and Jaques Perrin, and directed by Guisepe Tornatore, Cinema Paradiso was released on November 17, 1988, in Italy (and May 2002 in Canada).
