We've all gotten that email that summarizes the meeting that you were just in or an email describing a conversation that you had yesterday. They are a waste of time and not appreciated at all. If you want to be a great Communicator, you must speak and listen well, and more importantly, the people that are listing to you, they must feel like you are engaged with them that when they speak, you are listening. So one of the best phrases you can use is, I hear what you're saying, you can start a paragraph with that. Even if you disagree with them, you can let them know that you heard what they said and you understand it and you can even kick it up a notch and give a short summary of what they said. 

If you're an introvert, you can use this to your advantage. Tell people, you are nervous in groups and prefer talking to them one-on-one. They will appreciate the openness and this will increase their devotion to you, and therefore, your Charisma goes up. Introversion can be an advantage in almost every situation even in Charisma. 

This week, I've already suggested being a great listener, asking other people about the details in their lives and using handwritten notes to become more charismatic. All of these make people more devoted to you and that leads to Charisma. Another thing that you can do is develop your confidence and it's a very specific confidence show that you also have flaws be. So confident that you're willing to let people see your mistakes and flaws and that will make them more devoted to you. 

If you want to be more charismatic, have people more devoted to you, do things that show that you care about them. Listen, when they talk ask questions about their kids, remember their kids birthdays. And here's another great tip. Send them written notes, hand written. Thank you notes, written notes for a great conversation, a written note to let them know your thinking about them. There's no better way in today's world of electronics to show that you care. Then by handwriting a note.

Charisma can be learned. It is something that you can develop over time George Clooney didn't start off. So charismatic he developed it over decades of time. Obviously he had a head start though but the rest of us can learn to be more charismatic in our everyday lives. I'll give you a tip on how to do that right after this. 

Today, let's take it a step further, not only do you show interest but actually do the things that indicate your following that person's life follow up on their kids and how their family is doing. Use your iPhone to take notes in the information section. For each contact. Write down your friends, birthdays, kids names, things like that, they'll be incredibly impressed with your memory. 

When we see stars and billionaires, we think. Wow, that person has such Charisma, everyone is looking at them, but think about it in your office. Is there someone with more Charisma than everyone else and your friend group or neighborhood? Is there, someone that has just a little bit more "Rizz" as Generation Z would say. They're probably is and it can be taught, you can learn to have more Charisma. And this week, I will give you some tips on how to do exactly that.
