We make our annual trip back into the world of Star Trek, with Insurrection, the penultimate 'proper' Trek film. Picard and crew are out to thwart the most boring plot in the history of the galaxy, or are they accidentally making things worse? Also, another Star Trek quiz, where you should keep Data's manual and the problem with actors being actors.
Next week we watch Michael Shannon and an annoying kid in Midnight Special

At some point in the past we said we would watch D.A.R.Y.L. and at an unspecified time later someone contacted us and said 'Hey, you still need to watch that film.' Well, we don't know who you were, we forgot saying it, but now we're watching D.A.R.Y.L. Join us as we immediately get wildly off topic with Crocodile Dundee, discuss carnivorous robots, Alex hosts an acronym quiz, and we get blue in a way we haven't for a while. Seriously, there's an 'E' for explicit label on this podcast for a reason.
Next week, our annual return to the Trek universe, it's Star Trek: Insurrection!

We emerge from post-lockdown life and consequently get too busy to podcast. But don't worry, we're back, with a film no one has seen, no one wants to see, and no one should see. So, business as usual, then.
Next week, D.A.R.Y.L.

It's the future, again, and this time cops are getting trained in a computer by a sadistic AI. What could possibly happen next? Join us as we really go off Russell Crowe, wonder how Brett Leonard keeps getting to make films and marvel that Denzel Washington already had an oscar when he signed on to this...

Join us as we take a trip down DVD memory lane, try and work out why anything is happening and play Battle Royale Top Trumps

So, it's come to this. Alex celebrates his birthday by breaking pod rules and picking a film we shouldn't technically see for another 3 years, or preferably never. Yes, it's Ready Player One, and yes, Sam has a lot to say.
Next week it's Primer!

It's Easter Friday, and what says Easter better than a healthy dose of ultraviolence and the old in out? We celebrate with a viddy at A Clockwork Orange, the film too shocking for you to see, although not actually because it wasn't ever banned, really. Anyway, it got people excited for a long time and is it worth the hype? Join us for architecture, bad acting, bad impressions and Sam read a book.
Next week, it's all Alex's fault, and it's Ready Player One. Thanks, Alex.
