The Avs found a way to get past the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-1, with the help of a timely Casey Mittelstad goal, two more from Artturi Lehkonen and two empty netters. Add in some stellar goaltending by Scott Wedgewood and it's two points in the standings.

Was it their most polished game? Far from it. But maybe the Avalanche are getting back to their finding ways to win ways.
