NINE MORE DAYS TIL HALLOWEEN....

Day Six of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON seemed a good time to take a little break from the constant bloodshed, mutilation and suffering and enjoy a little palette cleaner.

Specifically, a Canadian palette cleanser in the form of a bizarre yet charming and sadly forgotten Halloween TV special from 1978 called WITCH'S NIGHT OUT.

With voice talent like GILDA RADNER and CATHERINE O'HARA, I'm already sold.

But when the lonely, aging witch is totally channeling NORMA DESMOND from SUNSET BOULEVARD, you're entering GAY CAMP HEAVEN territory.

And speaking of Gay Camp Heaven, I'm joined by everyone's favorite 'fraidy cat, DOUG SHAPIRO.

(Just look at that punim. I could plotz!)

TEN MORE DAYS TO HALLOWEEN....

Day Five of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON, and I'm covering a movie so unbelievable in its sheer ineptitude, it almost brought me to tears...of laughter!

The movie in question in PLAY DEAD in which an aging witch inflicts vengeance on her stunningly bland family with the help of demonic doggie.

It's so ludicrously awful, I would never want to inflict it on anyone.

Except it stars YVONNE DE CARLO.

So, naturally I had to enlist everyone's favorite YDC fanatic, the luscious MANUEL CANERI!

ELEVEN MORE DAYS TO HALLOWEEN...

Day Four of COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON  pads on fuzzy bear feet.  No, not bare feet...BEAR feet.  You know, the sexy gay kind.

In BEAR CREEK, six follicularly gifted friends head of to the woods for a weekend of male bonding, camaraderie, woofy gay sex and certain death when a killer makes it a point to ruin this teddy bear picnic....forever.

BEAR CREEK is currently available on Amazon Prime.

TWELVE MORE DAYS TO HALLOWEEN....

For Day Three of the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON, I've chosen a heartwarming tale of sisterhood, girl power, outrageous Canadian accents, and werewolves.Joining me to talk about this beloved melding of mythos, monsters and menses are the only two people on the planet who didn't like it: the hosts of the KILLING YOUR DARLINGS podcast and my dream throuple if only I swang that way, CHRYSTEN PEDDIE and DAN COHEN.

THIRTEEN DAYS TO HALLOWEEN...

Day Two and the COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON rages on my take on McG's new movie THE BABYSITTER.

Man, I'd feel bad if I add all the Popsicles when I babysat.

At least I wasn't performing human sacrifices to the Dark Lord in the living room...

FOURTEEN DAYS TO HALLOWEEN...

The COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN POD-A-THON begins...with a trip to the beach from Spring Break?

In THE SAND, party-goers at an all night blowout by the sea fine themselves fighting for survival against a monster whose very touch brings excruciating and inescapable death.

But even worse, they find themselves being mercilessly judged by THE CRAPSHOOT!

Spooky Scary Skeleton Remix by 2Spooky4U

(Main segment begins at 18:30)

Don't look now, but another Friday the 13th is creeping up on us on the calendar, and that can only mean one thing...

It's time for another FRIDAY THE 13TH SPECTACULARRRRR!

Since I've already covered all the movies in the series, I'm talking about one that's from the makers of FRIDAY THE 13th....a true oddity from 1986 called SLAUGHTER HIGH starring CAROLINE MUNRO in which April Fool's pranks turn deadly when Marty, a bullied nerd, gets revenge on his tormentors at their class reunion.

And it's definitely from the Friday the 13th people.  I mean, the video box wouldn't lie to me.  I mean, it says it right there...

True or not, there's middle aged British actors pretending to be American teenagers...badly, atrocious accents,  voluminous 80's jumpsuits, deep taint, indestructible boobs, and death by poop!

There's even a cameo from Jason himself.

Joining me on this back-to-school bloodbath are my beloved veteran hosts and resident tittie experts, BRYAN J. POLK and ALLISON NOWACKI.

Also, more info on the upcoming HALLOWEEN MARATHON FUNDRAISER for NEW ALTERNATIVES FOR HOMELESS LGBT YOUTH in NYC, backstage dirt and a 5-way battle for SCREAMQUEEN OF THE WEEK!

(Main segment begins at 18:10)

Take another peek inside the exclusive PATREON  subscriber feed with my shredding of ALIEN COVENANT.

I felt so badly about shitting so hard on that movie that you're also getting a recommendation for a Finnish slasher based on a real life unsolved murder case, LAKE BODOM (currently available on SHUDDER).

Also, SMOOCHIE WATCH, dystopian nightmares on Broadway, shitty relatives an Halloween preparations!!

If you're in the New York City area, don't miss me in DARK HOUSE THEATER's gore-streaked production of EAST IN RED: October 7-9 at UNDER ST MARK'S THEATER on the Lower East Side.  Tickets at www.DarkHouseTheater.com

(Segment begins at 14:00)

For Episode 191, we're taking another trip to the MADE FOR TV MOVIES of yesteryear with DEADLY LESSONS from 1983A strangler is loose on campus at an exclusive girls' school in TV's attempt to cash in on the slasher movie boon, and the cast is full of familiar horror movie faces including DIANE FRANKLIN (Amityville 2), RENEE JONES (Friday the 13th Part 6), BILL PAXTON (Aliens), and ALLY SHEEDY (Man's Best Friend).  Also, LARRY WILCOX (CHiPS), RICK ROSSOVICH (Die Hard), NANCY CARTWRIGHT (The Simpsons) and the legendary ultramom DONNA REED are thrown in for good measure.

And whatever you do, do NOT get in the way of Donna Reed's bulletproof HAIR!!

I'm joined by NICK HUNT and LARA JEAN MUMMERT, director and star of the upcoming horror feature SAFE PLACE. Help the movie happen by contributing HERE.

Also sex related mishaps, boring Netflix series and Vicodin-induced rantings!

Special thanks to CHOIRFLY, the LGBT a cappella "nerd chorus" I met at FLAMECON for supplying their rendition of "Hero of Canton" from FIREFLY. Find out more about them at http://www.Choirfly.com
