What can get us safely though this life eh? Nothing but sincere trust in Jesus! What can keep us filled with peace and joy during our trials? Nothing but leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus. He is the only eternal security there is! Satan doesn't guarantee anything but eternal death and damnation, eternal separation from God, the worst thing that can ever befall a human soul! But trust in Jesus guarantees eternal life and never ending peace and joy with him in heaven. So what's our choice eh? Obviously leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ! That's the ONLY wise choice! Much LOVE!

Satan is always at our heels bothering us to do wrong, but we cannot turn him away unless we are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, for it's our submission to the Holy Spirit that gives us the strength and wherewithal to resist the devil. That means before we can resist the enemy, we must first have an allegiance with God. And that allegiance also calls for us to draw near to God, for if we are far from Him, our lives lack the power to do anything worthwhile. So, if we desire to do anything useful on the earth, it's of the utmost importance that we have a personal and intimate relationship with Christ. For as he says in John 15:5, without him, we can do NOTHING! And is that ever the gospel truth! So if you don't know Christ, please get to know him TODAY, because both your earthly life and eternal destiny depends totally on it! Much LOVE!

Friends. don't be fooled, Satan knows more about God than any of us, as he was once the Archangel Lucifer, thus he knows how to play us. So please, it's ever so important that as believers in Christ we don't fall for the lies and wiles that Satan employs to get us to do his dirty work. He desires to keep us chained to the earth, while the Lord expects us to soar like eagles, and the only way we can do that is by knowing the Word of God and seriously and sincerely trying to put it into action in our lives. If we don't make the effort to do that, Satan will have us enmeshed in his evil schemes and we won't even realize it. Therefore, let's be sure to study the Word and then live it! Much LOVE!

Jesus is expected to come back two more times; first to take the church home to heaven in the Rapture, then at the end of the seven years of the Great Tribulation. And the long and short of the story is that if Jesus comes at either time and you have not received Him as Lord and Saviour, then your path will lead to eternal separation from Him, that's death and damnation with Satan and all the other evildoers. And since no one but the Father knows the time nor hour of either of those comings, we therefore have to be in a state of constant readiness if we sincerely desire to spend eternity with Christ. That's why it's ever so important to live the way He desires, so that in the end, He can say to us, 'Welcome home, my good and faithful servant!' Much LOVE!

Worry is a very negative and unproductive exercise. It only eats away the little strength and positivity we have, making us even less able to handle the situation that concerns us. The most important thing a believer can do is to place His complete trust in Christ, then have the faith to understand that God will not let Him fall by the wayside. Just like he takes care of the birds and the flowers, He will take care of the committed believer. And that's not always easy to do when life is coming against us in a great rush, but we have Christ's promise that He will never leave nor forsake us, and that He will work all things out for our good, and we need to hold on tightly to those promises. For our God is faithful! Much LOVE!

None of us like to walk in physical darkness, thus we need light to see where we are going. The same thing applies to our spiritual lives; we need light, the light of Christ to guide us on our earthly journey, so that we can end up in heaven with Him for all eternity. Living in the darkness that Satan demands of his followers is totally unacceptable to believers in Christ. However, plenty of our fellow men are living in that darkness and need us to go in and shine our light so that they can see the real truth of it all: That Jesus is the ONLY real way, truth and life! That Satan is just full of bluster and evil that will leads us to his lair of hellfire and damnation, which I'm sure none of us really want to experience. So please, let's allow our lights to shine in the darkness that surrounds us, so that others can see the way to Jesus! Much LOVE!

Now, being a disciple of Christ is one of the most important positions in the life of His church. That means we do what He wants us to do, sacrifice our desires, even if it's tough. Like Jesus said to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before His crucifixion, when He went pleading for the crucifixion to be nixed. Three times He asked it, and three times He got no response. His final words then were ' not my will, but thine be done.' And that's how we have to view our discipleship in Christ: not our will, but His, even if it hurts us to our very core, like it hurt Him when He was nailed to the cross at Calvary for our sinful behaviour. That's true discipleship! Much LOVE!

We all say we believe, but believe in what, and how strongly? The answer ought to be that we believe sincerely in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and we are wholeheartedly committed to living for Him! Anything else but those sentiments means we are not true believers in Christ. And into day's world of almost immediate communication, talk has become cheaper and more tawdry than it's ever been! Lies are passed off for truth, prevarication, that's half truths, are rampant and very destructive! That's why so many of us don't truly know what to believe. But friends, the ONLY person one can ever trust and believe in completely is Christ Jesus! Please know that, believe it and stay strongly committed to Him! That's the answer to these ungodly times! Prayer is our most important privilege in this world, but prayer is not a one way street, after telling God our heartfelt desires, it's also important to sit and listen to what He has to say in return. Now, He might not say anything at all, but it's to our great benefit to just sit and bask in His awesome presence; let His light and life flow over and through us and rejuvenate our tired and miserable souls and spirits. There is no better feeling than being in the very presence of God, of being aware of his nearness and the LOVE that's flowing out of Him towards us. So let's please try and cultivate that oh so important attitude of simply spending quiet time in God's presence. We will be all the better and wiser for it! Much LOVE!

Strong faith in Christ is what enables us to get through this topsy-turvy and difficult life. But unfortunately strong faith is only gained by going through much temptation and suffering, for it's only in those tough times that our faith grows. In the good times our faith doesn't grow. That's why, to be a serious believer in Christ you must undergo sacrifices and hardship, like Christ did on our behalf. The long and short of the story is that the Father expects EVERY ONE of His born again children to grow in Christlikeness, that means to develop His character and attitudes. Much LOVE!
