There are two options open to us when we die, death and damnation with Satan in hell, or peace and eternal life with Jesus in heaven. Now, if we don't intentionally choose the latter, then we'll be automatically slated for the former, that's eternal separation from God, which is mankind's worst dilemma. Therefore we need to intentionally accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, since He's the only way to get to heaven, to get into the presence of the Father. However, the path to heaven through Jesus is not an easy one, it's filled with all sorts of hiccups, and it's rather narrow. So we must be fully convinced that we want heaven to be our home and be prepared to handle the struggles and sacrifices necessary. And if we are, there's no need to worry, for Jesus will give us the wherewithal to follow the straight and narrow path to His eternal resting place. Remember, the wise money is ALWAYS on Jesus! Christ left the heavenly splendour of heaven and came to earth as a man to save and serve us. We see His servanthood in every aspect of His life. He was not too proud to wash the feet of His disciples, making humility one of the most important traits of being a follower of His. And good leadership required the most humility and servanthood in His philosophy. But, unfortunately, that's not the case in many instances in today's church. Everyone wants to lead, but no one wants to truly serve. So how can we show the world the true qualities and attributes of Jesus if we're not practicing them eh? We obviously can't, so it behooves us to turn our lives around and start being like Jesus desires, so that the world can see Him through us! Much LOVE!

Christmas is indeed a time for much joy, celebrations, gift giving and feasting, but have we ever stopped and wondered why it's so. Why at the end of every year we have so much fun, love and compassion for others? It's because of the incarnate birth of Christ, the Son of God, who came to earth to save us from our abominable sins. Now that should be a reason for much joy, because that gives us the option of spending eternity in heaven with Christ and not merely being led to our death and destruction in hellfire with Satan! That's why Christmas is such an important time in the lives of believers . And yes, we do celebrate the birth of a newborn baby, but this newborn was different, an exception, one who came to save lives and declare the truth of God's Word. Let's acknowledge Him with the reverence and exaltation that He deserves nuh! Much LOVE!

Now, how do we walk hand in hand with God eh? After giving our lives to Jesus, then we need to know His word, obey it, as best we can, and cry out to God for help when we find ourselves unable to do what He asks. The wonderful thing about our God is that He NEVER asks us to do something He doesn't enable us to do, and if come to Him in reverence and ask for help He will give it. That is His promise. Therefore, we also need to know His many promises, so that we can fall back on them in times of need. However to do all that we are talking about takes time, and only as we keep walking with God and gaining personal experience, with Him, will we be able to do what He expects of us. Much LOVE!

Fear and doubt are two liabilities of living in this sinful, fallen world. However if we sincerely believe in Christ and His promises found in His Holy Word, the Bible, then we need to refute, as soon as possible, any doubt and fear that comes into our lives through unseen and/or unfortunate circumstances. It's not always easy to do that, but with a strong and steadfast faith in Christ, we will get better at it with each unforeseen circumstance that befalls us. For, as the Lord's Word emphatically reminds us: The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of LOVE and of a sound or disciplined mind. So let's remember that each and every day and use it to strengthen our resolve, as we face life in this sinful and ungodly world. Much LOVE!

Oh friends, life is not just sunshine, lollipops and roses! No! It also entails a fair amount of work! For life cannot get better or improve without us seriously and sincerely working, expending energy to make it so. Consequently, any society in which there are many more lazy, busybodies than sincere workers, that society will eventually fall on hard times and cease to be of any use or value. It will slowly rot from the inside out, until it just eats away its own self. And sadly, that's what's happening in our world today. The rash of laziness and idleness, of opinions being thrown out without thought of truth or compassion, is slowly eating away at the internal organs of our world. Please, let's put a stop to it right now nuh! Else crapaud smoke we pipe! Much LOVE!

Oh friends, many descriptions have been used to describe our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but perhaps the best one is that which He Himself used; that's likening Himself unto a solid ROCK! A ROCK that cannot be moved, shaken, changed or in any way intimidated. That's why it's so important we surrender our all to Him, put our total trust in Him, because He is the ONLY One who can lead us to salvation, to reconciliation and eternity with the Father! If we don't get wise and accept Him as Lord and Saviour, then eternal separation from the Father will be our eventual destiny. And believe me, that's not going to be a pleasant experience. so please wake up and build your life on the ROCK! The ROCK called Jesus! Much LOVE!

God made us and God still controls us, thus we are beholden to Him for the paths we tread in this life. However, since God's ways are higher than ours, and although He has given us free will to choose our own paths, His direction for our lives will always be much more productive and amenable than ours. That's why it's ever so important that we accept God's plan for our lives and walk it like He lays it out. Just look at the example of Mary, Christ's mother. When she was told about her upcoming incarnate conception, she didn't moan and groan and complain, although it would surely muddy the waters of her young life. She simply accepted God's plan, knowing that if He brought her to it, He would also bring her through it. It's the same with Jesus. He didn't really want to go to the cross and suffer such pain and indignity, but because the Father asked it of Him, and He knew the great purpose behind it, He went to the cross, all for our benefit. So please, let's stop complaining when we go through a li'l hard time for Jesus' sake.Much LOVE!

If you're a follower of Jesus, then He expects you to be diligent and excellent in EVERYTHING that you do! That's just how His kingdom is set up. And that also ensures that God the Father is exalted in all we do, which is one of our earthly requirements. But also friends, when we do stuff with diligence and excellence it causes others to want to be like us, that's a follower of Jesus; so it's also part and parcel of our discipleship. And the best part is that eventually we will reap the reward of inheritance from the Father. Now, that should make us want to be ever so diligent and excellent in all we do, for we know that the rewards at the end will be ever so marvellous and glorious! Much LOVE!

Life is generally what we make it my friends! That means, what we do has an impact on what happens to us. Therefore, if we don't effectively use the many gifts and promises that God has given us, we won't have the kind of life that God desires we have and that Christ died for us to have. And what a sad waste of our lives that would be. Therefore, I'm pleading with us, to stand strong in Christ and use ALL that He's so generously given to and done for us, so that we can make His selfless sacrifices worthwhile and not have them be made in vain!
