Many of us believe that Labour Day is just a day to party at the end of the summer vacation, but it's way more important than that. It's a celebration of the pain, 'sufferation' and death that many before us underwent so that our lives and wages could be upgraded from the poor and unjust state that workers suffered back then. And though we're better off than we previously were, we're still not receiving our fair share of the pie, that means we have to keep up the fight against the greedy owners, who are only concerned about lining their own pockets, and have no sense of righteousness and justice towards those who enable them to be further enriched. But please remember that our great God is the champion of the poor and oppressed, and in Hs time, He will settle all our grievances, He will make things right. And Jes, it's hard to suffer through the injustice and unfairness, but we can do it because of the peace of jesus which resides in us. Let's remember that He has already overcome the world, so there's no fear in our hearts about facing the evil and ungodly world! Much LOVE!

Oh friends, Jesus' death on the cross did not only save us from sin, that's redeem us, but it also made us reconciled to the Father, made us justified and righteous in His eyes, caused us to be sanctified, or set aside as holy instruments of God! For all intents and purposes, when we receive Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are transformed, made new creations, and all our old life is set aside for the new one in Christ. That's why it's ever so important to receive Him as our Lord of Lords and king of Kings! And the beauty of receiving Him as such, is that once He comes into your life, you'll never want Him to ever go out of it. As the song says "Ah Cyar Leave Him!' No friends, it's impossible to leave Jesus once you get to truly know Him and all the benefits He provides for us fallen man. And as the song so uniquely points out: 'Jesus is the BEST upgrade!' And is that ever the gospel truth! So please, let's be wise and upgrade to Him today nuh. It's also the BEST decision we can ever make in this crazy and ungodly world! Much LOVE!

God gives us all tasks to do, but sometimes they seem too big for us and we get afraid, like Nehemiah, when God placed it on his heart to go and rebuild the walls and gates of Jerusalem. But after praying and fasting, he got up the gumption, although he was in a very important and therefore sticky position as the king's cupbearer. Any false move could have meant immediate death. But when our God is on our side, when we know for sure, after fasting and prayer, that He does indeed want us to do a particular job, then we need to move ahead with it, resting in His faithfulness, although our safety could be at serious risk. Now it's no easy matter to move ahead afraid, but if we are confident in the powers and favour of our God, then we have no choice. we can't claim that we believe in God and when the opportunity to prove it arises, back out because we're scared. Can you imagine what would have become of Jerusalem if Nehemiah had neglected to do the Lord's bidding? Thankfully, we'll never know, because he stood up strong, though afraid, and the Lord made his work a success. And He will do the same for each of us, if we stand up strong, and do His bidding, even when we're afraid! Much LOVE!

Our world has become so busy and constantly running on a 24/7 schedule, that if believers don't get off of the merry-go-round every so often, they'll lose their soul and spirit, and possibly lives. We must have the Lord's will in first place and go at the pace He sets for us, if we wish to be successful in our Christian walk. Being busy is overrated and it's just a symptom of the crazy pace the world sets, but you don't gain anything by being overly busy. The human body and mind were made to rest every so often, not to be on the go 24/7 as some of us are trying to do. Wisdom dictates that we rest in God and walk at the pace He desires of us! Christians are expected to be different from non-Christians. That means we don't behave in the same ungodly manner that they do, and don't run down the riches and sinful pleasures of the world. That means being IN the world, but not being OF the world. We must show our godly and generous behaviour to the world so that it can desire those things that we have, especially salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. If we behave like the unbelievers then there's no difference between us and we can't encourage them to live the better lifestyle that comes from knowing Christ. And that's one of our main purposes on the earth; to show others the benefits of believing in and living for Christ. So let's wake up and smell the stench that the world's putting forth and do our best to rectify it nuh! Much LOVE!

It's easy to talk Christ, but not so easy to live for him. But the Christian's duty is to live for Him; heart, mind, body and soul! Unfortunately not many of us are sincerely living for Him, which makes it easy for the enemy to forge ahead in his evil schemes. But there is still time for us to get our act together and make our world a better place. However we have to get serious about it, get together and do what we're supposed to do. Otherwise our world will just keep sinking further into the devil's quicksand. It's time for all believers to wake up and get moving, for if we don't, when Jesus returns there will be little or no faith left on the earth, and I'm sure we don't want Him to experience such a heartbreaking situation. There's very little we can do in this world without true faith in Almighty God, for, despite what others may say or think, He still controls His universe, and without Him it is impossible to prosper in a good way. You can prosper through selling your soul to the devil, but that will only cause you to end up in hellfire with Him. But if you want to prosper and end up in heaven, then you have to put your sincere trust and faith in Christ Jesus, for He's the only way you can ever get to heaven. He's promised to be with all believers right down to the end of time, and if you truly believe that, then please show it in your actions on His behalf!, so that others can benefit from it! As we keep saying, living for Jesus is not easy, but it's very interesting and rewarding. Being His disciple is an everyday occurrence and means sacrificing time, talent and treasure, as well as always trying to do your best, for He expects diligence and excellence from His followers, not the wishy-washy behaviour and attitudes that too many of us supposed Christians exhibit. And to do all of that you must know the Word and be able to action it in your life., while standing strong against the enemy, clothed in God's spiritual armour. That's the only way we will ever defeat his satanic majesty. Much LOVE!

Jesus died for us because He LOVES us. That's the simple and straightforward truth. If He didn't He would not have come to earth in the form of a man to redeem our sinful souls. And that's the very first thing a believer ought to know and believe, otherwise their faith is useless. For when all the problems of life come against you, you won't have the faith to believe that Jesus will stand by you, come hell or high water. And when it's time to die, how will you feel if you don't believe that Jesus LOVES you and has a place kept for you with Him in heaven above. So, if you don't believe anything else, please believe that Jesus LOVES you! Much LOVE!

The riches of the wicked look very enticing in today's world, but please note that God has promised to eventually destroy all of the wicked. Thus you don't want to be numbered amongst that lot that's set for eventual destruction. You want to be numbered amongst the righteous, who put their trust in Almighty God and live obediently to His will, for God has promised that they will inherit the earth. Remember we came into the world with nothing, and we will also leave with nothing, so running down the prosperity that you see the wicked enjoying now, won't last forever, and they certainly won't carry any of it with them where they are going. So please, let's be wise and look to Christ for whatever we want, instead of to the evil Beelzebub. It will be to our benefit in time to come. Much LOVE!
