Seb Terry | How To Live a Life With No Regrets

Listen Later

In a Gratitudeology Podcast first, today we join Seb Terry from an interesting interview spot: from the back of his van.

It is, indeed, a fitting location for this free spirit who has been on-the-go for his whole life. Growing up between Australia, Norway, and England, blending-in was an early for priority for Seb, but when a rugby accident left him with a dislocated shoulder and plenty of free time on his hands he went on an international backpacking trip that would sow the seeds for a life of exploration that he would only fully inhabit when tragedy struck.

At the age of 25, Seb received a call at 2am that would change his lfie forever. After hanging up the phone that day, Seb vowed to live his life differently and not waste one more moment.

Seb discovered his purpose and found true fulfillment once he gave himself permission to step out of his comfort zone and into a life of global adventure.

Now, Seb’s 15-year journey to complete a bucket list of epic proportions - including marrying a total stranger in Las Vegas, sitting with a death row inmate, and helping to deliver a baby - has not only changed his life and perspective forever, but has also made him a leader on a mission to inspire folks around the world to unlock the limitless possibility of their lives and complete all the goals on their own lists before it is too late.

Seb’s Bio:

Seb is a best selling author, top keynote speaker and he also loves surfing!

Having ticked off 77 goals from his own list of 100 things to date, Seb shares his constant evolution, learnings and insights with organizations and associations around the world, creating a ripple effect of inspiration, connection and transformation.

Today his journey continues…

Moving countries several times in his formative years, Seb finally found a home in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Harboring a lack of confidence and self worth, he blended in to most scenes unnoticed but always hoped of finding himself.

Conforming to others expectations, he graduated university with a generic degree before then setting off to backpack the world on a shoestring budget, drifting. A few years into his travels he received a call in the middle of the night; one of his childhood friends, Chris, had tragically passed away. This was the moment Seb realized everything needed to change.

Grabbing a pen and paper, Seb began to write the list of things that he hoped would propel him towards a sense of happiness and purpose in life. This list took the shape of 100 things and it would go on to transform his life forever.

Now 15 years on, Seb’s journey has not only changed his own life, but has gone on to change (and even save) the lives of many people around the world. Based in LA, California, Seb blends masterful storytelling with unique insights and comedy to help individuals and organizations leverage passion as a driving force for mental health, connection and transformation.
