On today's episode, we start things off catching up after a big week. Weber feels like an adult after making a big purchase, and we go off topic for a few minutes. We then go to one of the best times of the year, it's Opening Day for the MLB! It was a successful weekend for one of our teams, not so much for the other team. But hey it's early and they were close games. After that, we go over a BIG opening day trade from the Twins and Padres. We think there's a clear winner in this trade, will you agree? Then we have some other contract news. A Bronx Bomber shoots down a huge extension, and the Guardians deal out their first $100 mil contract! One of 5 teams that hadn't yet give a contract that big! Then we shift over to the ice for some Frozen Four hockey recap. Beau is a little sad, as Weber rejoices as his Denver Pioneers defeat the Mavericks from Mankato 5-1. Finally we make it to the NFL. We start with some sad news. A young quarterback in the NFL sadly passed away in a tragic accident. A terrible situation and we hope the best for his family and friends. We wrap up with a wide receiver who has had a lot of reward miles from changing teams so much, finally getting a little stability and a nice little extension. The boys are back at it, again, for a rare Tuesday edition of the show. Beau sadly was not able to come along for the ride but we kept on trucking. We have two Championship games to discuss as Kansas and South Carolina cut down the nets. The NFL continues to be generous to us as we get even more trades to pick apart. And baseball officially opens up for regular season action on Thursday, but that’s not stopping a few teams from striking some last second deals. The fellas are all back, and there is a lot to discuss. We start off with the Final Four recaps. Poor officiating and bad shooting lead to the end of an era in college basketball. Travis tries to limit his gloating, and Weber tries to hold back from using too many four letter words. Then the fun begins. We go through ALL six divisions of the MLB, discussing moves made, injuries, depth charts, and how they'll finish. This was a long one, but that's just because we care so much about giving you, our valued listener, the best insight we can provide. Did we do any research before we hopped on to record? Not really, but that's never stopped us in the past. If you tweet at us what place we picked your team to finish, Weber might send you a bobble head of a player who didn't play for them!

On today's episode, Travis is working hard and working long to make that money. So it's just Weber and Beau for today. We go over our picks for the Frozen and Final Four while guessing what Travis would pick because he was too busy to send us his picks. While we give Travis the worst picks possible, as we give our reasonings for our bids for the championships. After we wrap the Women's NCAA Final Four, we then move over to the MLB. No, this isn't the biggest news for the past week, but we're taking advantage of Travis being gone so we talk some Twin's Baseball! A BIG signing for the Twins (sorta) and we take our time going over how this affects our team. Do we go a little too far in depth? You be the judge, but if you're not a Twin's fan, we probably did. The Fellas are back with a great episode. We start off with a restaurant review. It might catch you off guard, but if know us (Especially if you knew us in college) you'll understand why this review is relevant. Then we get to the sports. We start with a big WR making a move to South Beach and is bringing up some questions of ol' Kansas City. We discuss if KC should be panicking or are they gonna be alright? We then move over to NFL Overtime Rules and boy is this a hot topic. Beau and Weber get after it, not as much as last time, but a little argument sparked. Much more civil this time. Then we move on to some Frozen Four action. Yes we talk some NCAA hockey action. Beau gives a quick recap as his Gophers make the Frozen Four. We'll give our picks on the last couple games on Wednesday! Then we shift from the ice to the hardcourt. We go over the latest games to bring us to the Final Four. Quite the blue bloods Final Four, we'll discuss that more on Wednesday as well. Then we tackle the MLB, as Spring Training comes to an end, there's some headlines that included a manager making a HUGE promise, a former MVP that is having a slow spring, and an All-Star looking for an extension. After we discuss our potential schedule for the next week, we call it a show. The boys are back at it again on a Wednesday edition of the Secondary Lead. We started with 3 and ended with 2, as Beau had to run off to Wednesday Mass. Baseball is back in action, after the lockout, and with it comes new rules. Who will be affected the most? Hockey Talk with Beau keeps us up-to-date with everything after a Wild NHL trade deadline. March Madness is about to enter its second weekend. We take a look at what’s left of our brackets and give our picks for what should be a crazy Sweet Sixteen. The NFL QB carousel continues to spin and a top weapon from a Super Bowl favorite gets traded. All this and more on this episode of The Secondary Lead SportsCast.

Holy crap we have a lot to talk about today. We start off by giving a quick recap of our time since our last show, and we give Weber a hard time on his favorite Billy Joel song. Then we get things rolling with the NFL news. Quarterbacks being moved, All-Star wide receivers being moved. This is normally not surprising, but these moves included teams and players who weren't in the rumblings for these moves! Just chaos in the NFL, and Weber just rips on Baker Mayfield. We discuss how some of these divisions are looking after these HUGE moves. And the trend continues everywhere else in sports! We then move over to the TRUE March Madness in the NCAA. Our brackets have a lot of red on them, as there has already been some MASSIVE upsets in the first two rounds! Our mascot bracket is actually doing okay, that just shows how crazy this tournament has been. (Also Beau's bracket isn't looking too bad, so that also tells you how crazy things have gone.) Beau then gives a little NCAA college hockey news with a game being over, trophy awarded, and then a goal called back AFTER the game ended! After that madness, we go to the MLB. And when I say the MLB has lost it's mind, it has gone off its rocker! The players on the move and signing this off season, shaking the core of our beliefs. Some signings we all saw coming, not surprised and happy with these moves. Other moves, (including the Twins' moves) had us shooketh. My description can't come close to explaining how crazy things have gone since baseball's been back. You'll just have to listen in to find out. We put on our thinking caps on this episode and go crazy with March Madness. All the fellas are back and we go through the ENTIRE BRACKET. That's right. Round of 64? Got it. Round of 32? You know it. Sweet 16? Oh how sweet it is when we talk about it. The Elite 8? Oh for sure. The Final Four? Obviously. And we give our picks for who we think will win it all. But we don't just give you the regular picks. We also make a bracket on the mascots. That's right, we don't bore you with all the talk about who's better and who will get upset. We talk about how cool the mascot is. We discuss some of the school's famous alumni. We talk about how ridiculous some mascots are and a whole lot more. We stride to provide you that entertainment factor. No only do we have all the greatest insight on these teams, Travis uses his egg-head to douse us with random facts on many of the teams. Weber gives us random mascot facts and some upsets. And Beau, well he's along for the ride.
