That's technically football related. We have some NFL news, including yet ANOTHER GM firing. Then Beau talks about some All-Star game Hockey Talk. Weber goes oddly in-depth about the Tkachuk hockey family. But don't worry, we move over to the pumpkin pushers where the AARP Squad in LA are having issues. Who's to blame? Apparently the head coach! We go over a more AARP Squad-friendly schedule. Then we wrap up with a Divisional Weekend of 5 Dubs! Will Beau climb out of the dumpster fire that is last place? At this rate, he might as well make a nest out of the garbage and get comfy, because he's there to stay. The Boys are at it again, minus Beau, as the Super NFL Wild Card weekend officially kicked off. We recapped all of Saturday’s action. Another NFL head coach gets canned and Weber is not happy about it. Is Derek Carr the answer, at QB, going forward for the Raiders? We’ll tell you. Good and bad news in baseball as a historic hire was made but the lockout isn’t close to ending. We react. This episode was a doozy, mostly for because Beau had to leave to fix some shit for the radio. So there was a little break in the middle that, thanks to the magic of Weber's editing, you shouldn't notice. (I owe you a case beer my guy) We start with recapping the last 5 Dubs of the regular season, which included a weird Sunday Night Game that could have ended with both teams going to the playoffs if they tied! Then, Black Monday in the NFL Coaching World. We had 5 coaches and 3 GMs fired! Get that coaching carousel running, it's gonna be a busy offseason. Then we recap the NCAA College Football Playoff Championship. The Dawgs got it done, but remember, this was a down year for Bama. Then it's SUPER WILD CARD WEEKEND in the NFL for the 5 Dubs. We're back on a chilly Sunday (For Weber and Beau) and we spent an hour before getting on looking at houses for Weber. We talk about the Saturday Night Football Dallas vs Philly game, what a blow out that one was. Then we go into some NFL news in a pretty busy news week before playoffs start. Was AB telling the truth? Will Baker Mayfield be starting next year in the huddle or on a couch? How old is Pete Carroll? And will Weber finally get an answer from Matt Rhule about his preference of snuggies? After that debacle, we discuss the FCS Championship. Then some big boy NCAA football news in the FBS and Weber goes on a nice rant. Next, Weber continues his rant with some baseball news, remember baseball? So we shortly discuss that and move on to our predictions for the FBS playoff championship on Monday, and a Sunday Night Weekly Double. After that growing moment, the Winter Classic is recapped (From what Beau can remember of it) and Beau almost cries. But in a good way. Then we wrap up the last week of the regular season of the 5 Dubs with Rivalry Week! These types of games are always weird and unpredictable, but we try our best to be at least somewhat right. Also, Travis' robot filter was malfunctioning again a little bit, but don't worry, we pushed through. This was a great episode, that started out horrible with Travis' internet taking another crap on him. But then we figured it out and had a great show! We started by going over a Thursday AND Saturday games. The we got to talk more about Uncle Urb and his latest shenanigans. Then COVID reared it's ugly head back into the NFL news, Antonio Brown is trying to come back to play, and Prime Time Dion Sanders can recruit, or can he just open a checkbook? After that give a recap of the FCS football semi-finals. And I think we give a quick peek at the championship down in Frisco, I'm not really sure I kinda zoned out for a little bit. After that wraps, we move to some MLB news. The Mets have their manager, and the A's might have theirs. One is old as hell, the other is a younger former player, can you guess which team hired who? Finally we have our Monday Night Football Weekly Double game between the Vikes and Bears. Which coach on the hotseat will win?
