Already stepping to the mic for Secretly Frequencies with her debut album released only this year? We wouldn't do it with just anyone; Eaves Wilder has already honed the songwriting skills and storytelling talents of a season musical veteran. A singer-songwriter hailing from London, Eaves has released a steady drip of singles and EPs leading up to her first LP, 'Little Miss Sunshine,' released on Secretly Canadian this spring. Chatting with co-hosts Tom Davies and WFHB Music Director Abby Noroozi, Eaves covers topics ranging from her 90's rock influences, writing music in her garden shed, and finding her ideal bandmates and collaborators (tougher than it sounds for an introvert). Today, we charge onwards through Superchunk's storied catalog. Started by Mac McCaughan and Laura Ballance in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1989, Superchunk have released thirteen studio albums, four singles collections, and founded and operate their own resolutely independent label Merge Records.

Mac McCaughan and guitarist Jim Wilbur link up with co-hosts Tom Davies and Eric Osmon (Run For Cover Records, Lame-o Records) to discuss learning to pace their prolific output as a band while evolving their sound, putting on then-unknowns Rilo Kiley as tour openers, reuniting to record and play after a near-decade hiatus, and many more of Superchunk's experiences.

Started by Mac McCaughan and Laura Ballance in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1989, Superchunk have released thirteen studio albums, four singles collections, and founded and operate their own resolutely independent label Merge Records.
