Undercover Project Veritas video shows a senior pharmaceutical executive blithely describing corporate discussions underway about so-called “directed evolution” of the COVID virus. Evidently, the idea is to pursue profitable new vaccines by anticipating dangerous mutations not yet developed by nature, but that scientists can generate in the laboratory.

Sound familiar?

The trouble is that, as Pfizer’s Jordon Trishton Walker, put it: “You have to be very controlled to make sure that this virus that you mutate doesn’t create something that just goes everywhere. Which, I suspect, is the way that the virus started in Wuhan, to be honest. It makes no sense that this virus popped out of nowhere.”

Last night, an American hero named Chad Robichaux introduced a Washington audience to the Afghan translator he helped rescue from certain death at the hands of the Taliban. Incredibly, this former Force Reconnaissance Marine and his team were subsequently able to do the same for 17,000 others abandoned when Joe Biden surrendered Afghanistan to our jihadist enemy.

Former Vice President Mike Pence is the latest politician found to have classified documents in his home, fueling a renewed effort to downplay the significance of Joe Biden’s mishandling of such materials. What contradicts the spinning is fresh, if circumstantial, evidence that the President’s son, Hunter, shared a secret State Department paper to get hired by a Ukrainian oligarch. 

New York Post columnist Miranda Devine discovered on Hunter’s notorious laptop an email he sent his prospective employer. It contained an apparent official analysis of U.S. policy options for possible sanctions against Ukraine. 

Congressional investigators will need to explore whether Joe  

Biden not only illegally retained and stored such a classified document, but shared it with his son to advance their family’s pay-to-play influence operations. And even more concerning: Was other, highly sensitive information shared with Hunter’s friends in Chinese intelligence?

A new book about America’s most damaging female spy reveals the difficulty associated with ferreting out our enemies’ “moles” inside U.S. spy and other agencies. For years, the Defense Intelligence Agency’s former top Cuba officer, Ana Montes, worked undetected and devastatingly for the Castro regime.

The failings of U.S. counter-intelligence today are, if anything, even worse. The FBI has not only failed to expose what is arguably the greatest internal threat to our national security ever – namely, the Chinese Communist Party’s suborning of Hunter Biden and his dad. The Bureau actually covered up that fact, as it has Joe’s mishandling of highly classified documents.

Now we learn that the former head of the FBI’s New York counter-intelligence operations has been indicted for taking money from a foreign spy service and a Russian oligarch.

Joe Biden’s legacy will likely include that he got a lot of us killed by enabling a million or more unaccompanied, military-aged men to enter our country from Sharia-supremacist nations, Communist China, Cuba, Venezuela and other hostile sources, including transnational drug cartels.

From Afghanistan alone, there are approximately seventy thousand who were admitted here as refugees after Biden surrendered the place to the Taliban. Like other unvetted individuals who came in illegally, these potential jihadists have been shipped all over the country – especially to Red States – and allowed to disappear into our society.

If the invaders weren’t armed when they came here, they most likely are now.

Such ticking time-bombs may or may not be under the command of one or more of our enemies. Either way, the danger they pose could be existential.

Is anyone addressing, let alone mitigating, that threat?

This week, Donald Trump delivered a three-minute videotaped throw-down about the threat posed by the Chinese Communists’ penetration of, purchases in and influence operations against our country.  

Particularly noteworthy was his warning about the CCP’s ominous involvement in our energy sector. As president, he issued an executive order aimed at halting the use of Chinese equipment in our electrical infrastructure.  

At the time, some 300 of China’s high-voltage transformers were already in our “grid,” despite evidence that they can be remotely destroyed. Joe Biden suspended that order. And there are now 100 more of these electrical Trojan Horses in use here. 

As a timely new documentary called “Grid Down, Power Up” narrated by Dennis Quaid makes clear, fixing this and our grid’s other, yawning vulnerabilities is – and must be – a non-partisan priority. So is defeating the CCP’s wider “unrestricted warfare” against America.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson had an unsettling welcome to the New Year. In an interview published on January 1st by Politico, the former U.S. senator announced that the Chinese Communist Party is preparing to colonize the Moon and may use force to deny us access to it.  

This is not exactly news as experts like Richard Fisher have been warning for years that the CCP is intent on dominating  what it calls the “earth-Moon system” as part of Beijing’s bid to control our planet.  

But U.S. policymakers – and particularly those involved with America’s space programs – have for decades encouraged the public to believe leftist nostrums about the High Frontier being a pristine international “commons” reserved for peaceful exploration and scientific research. 

We’re now in a real – and potentially deadly – space race with the Chinese. It’s one we literally can’t afford to lose.

Official Washington is consumed with Joe Biden’s serial mishandling of classified documents. His partisans insist that it’s not as bad as what Donald Trump did. His critics correctly say illegal stashing of top secret material in Joe’s garage, a file marked “Personal” and an office paid for by anonymous Chinese donors is, indeed, far more serious. 

That’s especially so since, unlike a vice president, President Trump actually had the authority to declassify the documents he stored in a padlocked room at Mara Lago with the blessing of the FBI.   

The real problem is that Joe Biden’s conduct generally is a grave threat to the national security. For starters, he’s a “controlled asset” of Chinese intelligence. Then, there’s his: surrender of Afghanistan, hollowing out of the U.S. military and destruction of our energy security – among other betrayals. 

It’s past time for Joe to go.

Three months ago, I predicted that the countdown to Joe Biden’s resignation had begun. Today, it appears to be just days away.  

After all, Biden’s own administration now seems to be actively working to force his removal. Serial leaks concerning classified documents discovered in various insecure locations appear designed to make the President’s position untenable.  

That’s especially true with a special counsel now charged with investigating evident Biden illegal handling of top secret information and a new Republican House sure to do the same.  

Moreover, we simply can’t have – especially at a moment of possibly imminent conflict with China – a President reasonably depicted as a “controlled asset” of our mortal enemy.  

Given Chinese “elite capture” particularly of California politicians and senior figures in the Obama-Biden team, not only must this President resign, but any prospective successor similarly compromised must be disqualified.
