When a coronavirus pandemic erupted in Communist China three years ago, residents from Ground Zero in Wuhan were encouraged by their government to travel to the United States and elsewhere around the world.

 

The predictable result was to spread the disease everywhere, prompting our expert Team B III panel to characterize the Chinese Communist Party’s behavior as a deliberate “biological warfare attack.”

 

Today, the COVID pandemic is ravaging all of China and its

dictator, Xi Jinping, is responding as before – namely, by

allowing those likely afflicted to travel internationally.

 

Unfortunately – unlike Donald Trump, who acted to prevent

such Chinese proliferation of the disease – Joe Biden has thrown open the southern border and vehemently opposes travel restrictions.

 

Worse, Biden seems prepared to reinstitute Xi’s “China Model” of lockdowns in America. If you find that prospect intolerable, better make it known now.

Last February, the dictators of Russia and China met in Beijing to unveil a portentous “No-Limits” partnership. It set the stage for Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and likely Xi Jinping’s impending assault on Taiwan.

 

Both men are today in serious difficulty. Putin’s vaunted military utterly failed to accomplish its mission of quickly seizing Ukraine’s capital and vast countryside. And Xi has been compelled by large numbers of protesters across China to jettison his signature “Zero-Covid” policy, his impotence being further underscored by hundreds of millions there suddenly contracting the disease.

 

Hold the champagne as two ominous prospects are emerging: We may soon see vacuums of power in Moscow and/or Beijing quite possibly being filled by new monsters. Alternatively, Putin and/or Xi may resort to waging war on fabricated foreign boogeymen, including us, to revive their now seemingly tenuous claims to power.

Four electric substations were attacked on Christmas Day in Washington State and, while it is unlikely that what authorities have downplayed as “vandalism” and “burglaries” was inflicted by The Grinch, the actual perpetrators are unknown – and, presumably, still at large. 

Ditto those who recently attacked parts of our electric “grid” elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest and the Carolinas. Fortunately, the resulting power interruptions have so far been of limited duration and impact. But much worse is in prospect if we persist in leaving our most critical of infrastructures vulnerable to not only physical sabotage, but cyberattacks and man-induced and naturally occurring electromagnetic pulses. 

Our Secure the Grid Coalition has pressed for corrective action for years, but been stymied by resistant regulators and utilities. Hopefully, a forthcoming, powerful new documentary, “Grid Down, Power Up,” will help ensure we finally do secure the grid.

The term “election denier” epitomizes Leftists’ skill at manipulating the plain meaning of words to obscure, and advance, their political warfare agenda.

They use it to describe people who dispute the outcome of official ballot tabulations. It more aptly applies, however, to those who disenfranchise voters by rigging an election and/or concealing the evidence that’s been done decisively.

 

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has been widely defamed despite providing significant evidence in Maricopa County court that more votes than the number sheneeded to win were impeded, invalidly cast or illegal. The judge who nonetheless ruled against her seems the one denying the actual majority of voters the outcome they sought.

 

At least that judge allowed Ms. Lake her day in court. Hopefully, she will get another to test whether the appeals court is also populated by bona fide “election deniers.”

The Holy Land is on the minds of many Americans this time of year. Prayers for the peace of Jerusalem, a blessed Christmas and a new year filled with joy echo on both sides of the Atlantic. We share those hopes for the region, and for you and yours. 

Unfortunately, as a riveting webinar earlier this week made clear, U.S. policies are contributing to conditions that endanger, rather than promote, Middle East peace, including: the Biden administration’s hostility towards Israel’s new governing coalition; its continuing aspiration for a nuclear deal with the Iranian mullahs; its encouragement of Palestinian aspirations that are translating into intensifying terrorism; and its undermining of Trump-era peace agreements between Israel and a number of Muslim nations. 

Our holiday prayers should include one for a regional course-correction whereby America supports our friends and opposes our enemies, not the opposite.

In a classic example of why the American people distrust, if not actually loathe their so-called “representatives” in Washington, a Congress that no longer has a mandate to represent anybody is about to foist upon its successor, and the rest of us, a monster.

 

The bipartisan congressional leadership call this 4,000-page, nearly two trillion dollar legislation “The Omnibus.” It’s

actually “The Omnivorous” – for its unsustainable spending, its radical leftist policies and other mandates will consume

everything in sight: Our national creditworthiness. The dollar’s reserve status. 2022 voters’ preferences. And our surviving constitutional freedoms. 

 

The collusion of the political establishment’s radical leftist Democrats and controlled-opposition Republicans have brought us this disaster. Those who actually represent us must use every tactic possible to ensure there’s no “long-term” spending bill until after a new Congress is seated in thirteen days.

During a dramatic webinar yesterday, China expert Gordon Chang succinctly described the existential threat of our time: He observed that the United States is not at war with Communist China, but the Chinese Communist Party is at war with us. 

This insight explains the otherwise inexplicable: Why do this country’s governing and business elites persist in providing technologies, resources, data and financing that enable our mortal enemy, the CCP, to wage “unrestricted warfare” against America?  

The principal reason appears to be China’s successful corruption of key U.S. politicians and corporate leaders. By putting personal greed and, in some cases, ideological affinity ahead of the national interest, such figures endanger the rest of us, our freedoms and the constitutional Republic that is supposed to guarantee them.   

We must disengage from China, adopt a war-footing and root out those playing for the other team.

The kangaroo court known as the House January 6 Committee has finally brought its serial miscarriages of justice to an end, predictably, by referring criminal charges alleging former President Donald Trump “incited” an insurrection that day. 

 

But, there was no “insurrection.” 

 

The Committee’s highly selective investigation notwithstanding, Mr. Trump bore no responsibility for two factors that principally enabled what were “mostly peaceful” incursions inside the Capitol that day. First, the building had a reduced level of security, not a heightened one – including several open doors. And second there were clearly provocateurs in the crowd, some of whom appear to have had ties to the FBI. 

 

There may have been a conspiracy to influence the 2020 election certification proceedings. An honest investigation, however, would find evidence pointing to culpability among the congressional leadership, not those targeted by this rigged one’s trumped-up charges.

The evidence that Joe Biden is, as retired U.S. spy “Sam” Faddis contends, a “controlled asset” of Chinese intelligence continues to accumulate.  

In addition to the multiple indictable offenses documented on Hunter Biden’s hard drive – some of which were laid bare in a Committee on the Present Danger: China webinar last week – two recent decisions strongly suggest that his dad is doing the Chinese Communist Party’s bidding.  

First, the PCAOB, a little-known federal auditing agency, has cleared the way for American investors to continue underwriting the CCP threat. That’s suicidal. 

And second, Mr. Faddis reports that Team Biden is allowing U.S. companies to do business with more Chinese ones on the grounds that the latter won’t transfer American technology to their government – something they are actually required to do. 

Congress must stop such aiding and abetting of our enemy.

According to retired U.S. spy and lifelong patriot, “Sam” Faddis, Joe Biden is a “controlled asset” of Chinese intelligence. According to his son Hunter’s laptop, there’s plenty of evidence that’s true. 

That evidence was the subject of a blockbuster Committee on the Present Danger: China webinar yesterday that confirmed the following: Hunter and Joe have long done business with Chinese Communist Party influence operations – and Hunter, at least, still is. The laptop indicates that Joe is implicated in seven felonies. And America’s frontline counterintelligence agency, the FBI, concealed, and thereby enabled, the greatest counterintelligence crisis in our history – the election of a president controlled by our most dangerous enemy. 

Joe’s latest service to Communist China? An obscure federal agency known as the PCAOB cleared the way yesterday for American investors to continue underwriting the CCP threat. 

That’s insane – and treasonous.
