  • The Penn Chiden Center
Team Biden is working overtime to conjure up distinctions between the former Vice President’s manifest mishandling of classified information and that wrongly ascribed to former President Donald Trump. This isn’t just an effort to obscure what appears to be clearly illegal behavior by Joe Biden. It’s a desperate bid to deflect attention from his even more serious misconduct.
The documents in question were reportedly found in offices of the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Biden Center established after the Obama administration ended. Joe Biden and Tony Blinken are among those who set up shop there during the Trump presidency, underwritten substantially by tens of millions of dollars contributed by anonymous Chinese donors. Unsurprisingly, what might more accurately be called the Penn Chiden Center assiduously promoted a pro-CCP line.
House committees must do an urgent damage assessment of conduct that smacks of treason.

  • The ”360,000 Amigos”
President Biden and his Mexican and Canadian counterparts have been dubbed the “Three Amigos.” We should call the scheme he announced on the eve of their meeting this week the
    “Three-Hundred-and-Sixty-Thousand Amigos.”

That’s the number of aliens expected to be brought here this year from four deeply problematic countries through a gambit that is arguably illegal and certainly unauthorized by Congress. As first revealed by the author of Overrun, Todd Bensman, the
administration is now enabling people who would otherwise have paid cartels to smuggle them into this country to skip that expense and grave danger.

Instead, they’ll be authorized in their home countries to “lawfully” migrate, then flown here equipped with work papers and money – all at U.S. taxpayer expense. This process may
obscure, but will only exacerbate today’s border catastrophe.

Court-ordered injunctions and impeachment proceedings can’t come soon enough.

  • Brazil’s Reichstag Fire
Brazil is Latin America’s largest country and a strategic prize for the region’s Marxists and their sponsors in Beijing. So, restoring the Communists’ leader, Lula da Silva, to its presidency was a top priority, one accomplished in elections last year many Brazilians believe were fraudulently decided.
For some 70 days, millions of Lula’s opponents turned out peacefully in cities across the country urging the military to intervene pursuant to its constitutional duty in the event elections were deemed to have been stolen.
The armed forces did not act. And, after Lula took office on January 1st, key government buildings in Brasilia were attacked, apparently by a combination of leftist provocateurs and supporters of former President Jair Bolsanaro, who has denounced those responsible.
Like Hitler’s Reichstag fire, count on the Marxists to use this pretext to suppress their opponents – and freedom.

  • A Decisive Test of Speaker McCarthy’s Trustworthiness
Last week, twenty true conservative legislators – not “extremists,” not “insurrectionists” – tenaciously negotiated an array of important changes for running the new Republican House of Representatives. In the end, six still declined to vote for the man who opposed many of these “rules” changes, but nonetheless allowed him to become Speaker.
They did so out of a well-founded lack of trust in Kevin McCarthy, who ultimately prevailed because he reliably controlled some 200 other members of the new Congress. For example, last November he privately approved an “omnibus” bill that precluded Republican control over spending until September, but then publicly opposed it.
We’ll test Speaker McCarthy’s trustworthiness today when his loyalists are asked to adopt the agreed rules package. Will the Speaker privately allow, if not encourage, some unconservative Republicans to vote down the package, even as he publicly supports it?

  • Ray Epps Day
Today, Joe Biden will mark the anniversary of January 6, 2021 by honoring people he calls “heroes.” They include Capitol Police officers on duty during the so-called “insurrection” there and others not present but who served a similar purpose – namely, helping Mr. Biden secure the presidency.
Curiously, a man who appears to have played such a role decisively is not among today’s honorees. His name is Ray Epps and he was not only captured on film on both January 5th and 6th insisting that the crowd had to “go into the Capitol.” He claims to have “orchestrated” that happening.
Epps has also been studiously ignored by the FBI and prosecutors when others who simply did what he directed have languished in jail for two years. How about we recognize his service to the Biden presidency by henceforth calling this “Ray Epps Day”?

  • Is the CCP’s ”Elite Capture” a Factor in the Speaker’s Race?
Why has Kevin McCarthy not withdrawn from the House Speaker’s race after six failed attempts to win the post? It may have less to do with his notorious lust for power than self-preservation.
Under present circumstances, a Republican House is basically reduced to conducting investigations. McCarthy’s choice to perform oversight on China, Rep. Mike Gallagher, says he intends to examine U.S. underwriting of the Chinese Communist Party.
The trouble is that Kevin McCarthy has long worked with Sequoia Capital, a firm that has invested heavily in and for China. The botched Benghazi investigation illustrates how a Speaker like McCarthy’s mentor, Paul Ryan, can neuter an inquiry. Ditto the failure of McCarthy’s own China Task Force to examine financial firms like BlackRock and Sequoia’s enabling of our enemy.
We need a Speaker who will root out the CCP’s “elite capture,” not exemplify it.

  • Kevin McCarthy is STILL Unworthy of the Public Trust
No one knows now who will be the next House Speaker – and we may not for some time. Recent insights into Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s character, however, show that he’s unworthy of the public trust.
For example, before the voting began Tuesday and despite real uncertainty whether he’d win the top job, McCarthy presumptuously moved his office into the Speaker’s suite.
Then, during a Republican caucus before the first of three unsuccessful votes on January 3rd, McCarthy contemptibly announced that he had “earned this G— d— job.”
And, one of the twenty courageous legislators who wound up voting instead for Jim Jordan reported that, in the same caucus meeting, Kevin McCarthy and an ally explicitly threatened to severely punish any defectors by barring them from serving on House committees.
Kevin McCarthy is unfit and should withdraw, as he ignominiously had to do once before.

  • Prosecute Ray Epps for 1/6
Just before Christmas, the Democrats’ January 6th Committee released its final report. Predictably, that kangaroo court held Donald Trump responsible for inciting the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol and recommended he be prosecuted.

Given the holidays, it took some time, but eventually a remarkable revelation was discovered buried in the Committee’s report. It was a text sent on January 6, 2021, by Ray Epps. He’s the guy captured on video – both that day and the night before – hectoring Trump supporters to “go into the Capitol.” At the rally on the 5th , the crowd suspected he was a provocateur and drowned him out, shouting “Fed, Fed, Fed.”

Epps’ text reads: “I was in the front with a few others. I also
orchestrated it.” Unbelievably, he remains unindicted and at
    liberty.

    That must not stand.

  • Kevin McCarthy Must Not Be the Next Speaker
Tomorrow, a new Republican majority will take charge of the U.S. House of Representatives. Or will it? If Kevin McCarthy manages to secure the votes needed to elect him Speaker, chances are that the next two years will be more or less a reprise of the uniparty’s misrule that we have experienced for the past four years under Democratic leadership.
Take the appalling Omnibus bill enacted before Christmas, ostensibly over the adamant opposition of the GOP minority. Mr. McCarthy publicly denounced the idea of locking in spending amounts and priorities of Nancy Pelosi’s House Democrats through the end of the fiscal year next October. Yet, McCarthy reportedly endorsed this idea in a private meeting at its inception – then dissembled about it.
In short, such untrustworthiness exemplifies why Kevin McCarthy likely will not be the next Speaker. And why he should never be.

  • The Pandemic’s Deadly Credibility Crisis
Are you bewildered by the recent revelations that public health officials have systematically lied to us about the COVID pandemic’s sources, nature and actual danger? How about the new evidence of collusion between government, Big Pharma, its “captured” regulators and the media to suppress the truth about life-threatening vaccines and devastating lockdowns?

Such credibility-crushing misconduct is now compounded by the Biden administration’s schizophrenia about the state of the pandemic. The President has said it’s over. And his team insists that Title 42 should no longer be invoked to deny asylum to some among the tsunami of illegal aliens it has precipitated.

Yet, Biden and Company assert that everyone must get serially jabbed. Worse yet, they seem intent on seizing any pretext for reinstituting mandates, lockdowns and digital vax passports. A day of reckoning is coming. Will we live to see it?
