  • America is Not “Competing” in Space, It’s at War
Joe Biden insists we’re “competing” with the Chinese Communist Party. Actually, the CCP is at war with America and yesterday’s launch of the Artemis I rocket highlights the ominous difference between these parallel universes.
Our Artemis program is aimed at returning astronauts to the moon to advance space science and exploration. Chinese emperor Xi Jinping is determined to have the People’s Liberation Army get there first.
Xi not only seeks to achieve national prestige by winning a space “race.” He’s pursuing decisive military advantage by dominating the so-called “earth-moon system.”
So, Beijing plans to build military installations on and project power from the lunar south pole, affording China the ability to determine not only what happens on the moon, but on earth and the space in between.
This is no “competition”: It’s war, and America must not lose the High Frontier.

  • Needed New Leadership on Offer for the GOP
Two federal legislators have courageously offered their Republican colleagues an actual choice of leadership in the House and Senate. Representative Andy Biggs and Senator Rick Scott rose to challenge those deemed unassailably entitled to be the GOP’s bosses in their respective chambers. They deserve our thanks – and support.
Representative Kevin McCarthy’s lack of integrity and personal misconduct prompted him once before to withdraw in ignominy from a bid for House Speaker. His refusal to articulate a compelling policy agenda and fund some Republican nominees contributed to his party’s tiny majority this time around.
Similar disqualifying traits apply to Senator Mitch McConnell and helped preclude the GOP’s victory in his chamber. Worse yet, he’s deeply compromised by the Chinese Communist Party.
A handful of Republicans can deny McCarthy the Speakership in January. A majority of them in the Senate should reject McConnell.

  • Will Biden-Xi’s Bali Meet-up be Munich 2.0?
In Bali yesterday, President Biden met with the first Communist Chinese emperor, Xi Jinping. It may prove to be as ominously momentous a meeting as British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s with Nazi Germany’s Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler, in September 1938.
We’re told the U.S. president insisted that the U.S.-Chinese relationship is one of “competition” and that he’s determined to avoid conflict. For his part, Xi reportedly baldly lied that China has “no intention to challenge or displace the United States.”
The truth is the Chinese Communist Party is at war with America. Under Xi, it is determined not only to displace, but destroy this country. If the U.S. government persists in believing otherwise, we will not have “peace in our time,” but be decisively defeated by a Chinese empire that makes the threat posed by the Nazi Reich pale into insignificance. This is Frank Gaffney.

  • Failed ”Leaders” Should be Replaced, Not Re-upped
Tens of millions of Americans are bitterly disappointed by the outcomes of the midterms, too many of which remain unresolved.
Numerous factors contributed to victories by candidates clearly less enthusiastically supported – and in at least one case, palpably unfit to serve.
Those include the fact that Republicans focused on turn-out, while Democrats focused on “turn-in” – namely, generating and counting ballots whether they were legally cast or not.
Another determinant was the failure of the “McLeadership” – the GOP’s Senate leader Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy in the House and Republican National Committee Chairwoman Rhona McDaniel – to support and fund the party’s nominees in key races around the country. Specifically, they sabotagedcandidates deemed insufficiently loyal to them and their reduction of the party basically to a “controlled opposition” in Congress.
Will these so-called “leaders” be rewarded by being re-upped?
    The answer must be “no.”

  • Are our Departed Veterans Spinning in their Graves?
Today we remember and honor those who served and, in many cases, died in uniform. They did so, among other reasons, to ensure the survival of our representative form of government, by and for the people.
Team Biden claims “democracy” is threatened by “enemies of the state” who are “election deniers.” But the midterms, with their wildly different outcomes than those predicted by rallies, polls and palpable public sentiment. suggest a different threat to our Republic.
If every ballot counts, as Democrats have clearly sought – you can easily get different results than if only votes legally cast by qualified American citizens count. Practices like universal mail-in ballots, unsupervised drop boxes, ballot harvesting, and poorly maintained voter rolls lend themselves to the election of those who do not have the most legally cast votes.
Are our departed veterans spinning in their graves?

  • Keep the CCP out of the Thrift Savings Plan
Next week, the U.S. Senate has an opportunity to prevent the pension funds of federal government employees – past and present, military and civilian – from being invested in companies controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

The National Defense Authorization Act is must-pass legislation that would be a perfect vehicle for such a prohibition, provided Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will allow it to be put up for a vote.

We’re entitled to know where legislators stand because they are participants in the Thrift Savings Plan. If Senators don’t act to keep their money and others’ out of the hands of the CCP, they must be okay with underwriting our mortal enemy.

Don’t want your representatives sending taxpayer funds they earn to Communist China? Then, take action at NoTSPfortheCCP.us, urging them to make it illegal and ensure that others won’t do it either.

  • Time for DeSantis-style Leadership in Congress
As of now, the outcome of the races that will determine control of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives remains unclear.
Specific candidates and local issues are factors. But, given the palpable and well-documented anger of a majority of voters about the “wrong direction” in which the nation is headed, and the historical losses that first-term presidents’ parties suffer in midterms, the Republican opposition should have performed far better.
That would have required, however, leadership in Congress that articulated and pursued a robust platform for corrective action – and explicitly sought a mandate for achieving it.
Compare the failure of Senator Mitch McConnell and Rep. Kevin McCarthy to provide such leadership with the crushing success of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who fearlessly did.
The former should have the grace now to yield their positions to others actually willing to lead.

  • Democrats’ Latest ”Pivot” Confirms the Reality of Election Fraud, Again
Two weeks ago, I noted that, before Joe Biden and his partisans started denouncing those convinced the 2020 presidential race was stolen as “election deniers,” Democrats warned that it could happen due to problems with insecure election machines.
That stunning pivot is now being followed by another one. Democratic politicians who have insisted for the past twenty-four months that the nation’s election machinery was perfectly secure in 2020 have pivoted to saying that it can be manipulated in this election.
For example, yesterday, the Left’s house organ, Politico, reported that, “There are real risks that hackers could tunnel into voting equipment and other election infrastructure to try to undermine Tuesday’s vote.”
Fortunately, American voters are now onto the Democrats’ game: Material fraud was possible in 2020. They actually perpetrated it that November. Their attempts to try it again today must not succeed.

  • Make the Vote Too Big to Steal
Much of the news heading into tomorrow’s Election Day is inspiring. Many Americans have already voted and millions more are set to do so in person on Tuesday, with the prospect of a level of turnout possibly unprecedented for midterms.
It better be, because we need to ensure that the vote is too big to steal.
That’s because opportunities for material fraud that roiled the 2020 presidential race remain in place in some states. That makes the presence of record numbers of trained poll watchers monitoring the electoral process not just laudable, but absolutely necessary.
Additional good news on the election integrity front is the return to the fight of True the Vote’s Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips released yesterday from wrongful imprisonment on contempt of court charges. Congratulations folks! Now, back to work, when it is needed more than ever.

  • A Real ”Sputnik Moment”?
Communist China announced this week that it had put into place the last section of its space station. It should be a “Sputnik moment.”
Unlike the aging one the United States built with help from, among others, the Kremlin, the Chinese version will be first and foremost a military platform with a patina of civilian use.

China’s space station will also be a building block for an ominous next phase of newly coronated Emperor Xi Jinping’s colonial buildout. Within the next few years, the PLA plans to establish what amounts to one or more outposts near the moon’s
    strategic southern pole.

Expert Richard Fisher warns that these steps are among those being taken to assure China’s domination of “the earth-moon system,” a capability that would enable it to project power decisively onto our planet. Will those we elect next week allow that?
