For several generations, the radical left has been relentlessly engaged in what cultural Marxists call “a long march through the institutions.” This program of political warfare has systematically penetrated and undermined virtually every pillar of our Republic in order, as Barack Obama put it, to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.”

The revolutionaries’ long march is now poised to reach the last hold-out: the Supreme Court. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is the choice of Black Lives Matters’ self-described Marxist leaders because she will be a champion of their subversive agenda of dividing Americans along racial lines, promoting toxic identity politics and undermining the “nuclear family.”

Judge Jackson’s radicalism is evident in her now-documented, inveterate leniency towards purveyors of child rape, torture and other forms of sexual abuse. She must not be allowed to begin fundamentally transforming the Supreme Court.

If freedom-loving people have the opportunity to write the history of our time, they will doubtless decry the immense help that American elites have given to their country’s mortal enemy: the Chinese Communist Party. By some estimates, Wall Street mavens like BlackRock CEO Larry Fink have transferred more than $3 trillion of U.S. investors’ money, funds the CCP uses to wage “unrestricted warfare” against us.

Tragically, we lost yesterday an influential financier who stood athwart such betrayal. Dan Celia was the longtime host of a hugely popular TV and radio program and ministry called “Financial Issues.” He was sharply critical of fellow capitalists who fail to put patriotism before profits.

While we mourn Dan Celia’s untimely passing, he is surely in a position now to enlist more directly the Lord’s help in protecting the country he so dearly loved. Godspeed, our friend.

“No borders. No walls. No USA at all.” That’s the rallying cry – and the agenda – of the radical leftists who have worked with fellow travelers in the Biden administration to open America’s southern border.

Now, they are celebrating the announcement that Team Biden is going to remove at the end of May the last significant impediment to illegal entry to this country. A Covid-19 pandemic-related provision known as Title 42 will be dispensed with, clearing the way for millions of single men, many of them military age, to join the invasion now well underway.

Government officials from President Biden on down are violating their oaths of office. Far from protecting our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, they are actively collaborating in those enemies’ efforts to ensure there is no USA at all. Will the rest of us tolerate such betrayals?

You can tell a lot about a country by how its elites treat children and those who mistreat them. So, it’s ominous that America’s identity politics-obsessed left is promoting a new, favored category: so-called “minor-attracted persons.”

This odious practice of excusing pedophiles, child-abusers and sexual predators has been brought to the fore by the Senate’s review of Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s sentencing record. Just how problematic is her consistent practice of giving, wherever possible, relatively light punishments to such convicted criminals is suggested by her failure to disclose or otherwise explain to Senators the most recent, and egregious, of these cases.   

That failure may constitute a felony offense. Either way, Judge Jackson’s extremism must be considered disqualifying for a lifetime seat on the highest court in the land. If she will not withdraw, she must be rejected.

It is hard to overstate the U.S. government’s incoherence with respect to an extremely fraught topic. President Biden declared last week that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.” The White House immediately claimed this was not a call for regime change. But yesterday, Mr. Biden insisted he wasn’t backing away from his original comment, spinning it as “moral outrage” at Putin’s bloodletting.

Putin has reportedly relocated to one of his hardened underground leadership bunkers in the Ural Mountains. That may be due to paranoia about a coup d’etat. It’s consistent, though, with preparation for a preemptive nuclear attack.

Our PresentDangerChina.org webinar last week made the case that, given Russia’s ability to launch such strikes essentially without warning, it behooves us to increase the readiness of our deterrent forces. Joe Biden’s loose talk makes that not just prudent, but imperative.

In Poland last week, President Biden threw rhetorical matches into a potential nuclear tinder box. His suggestion that the 82nd Airborne would soon be in Ukraine and his subsequent declaration that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power” invited preemptive action by the Kremlin.

Our PresentDangerChina.org webinar last week established that, given Putin’s doctrine, preparations and paranoia, such loose talk could well precipitate his first-use of nuclear weapons. The speed with which the White House walked back both statements suggests the magnitude of the danger.

Several conclusions follow from this latest Biden debacle: One, It’s time for Joe to go. Two, if he won’t resign, the 25th Amendment must be invoked to remove him. And, three, a new, non-partisan vice president must be appointed, one with a robust national security background who will promise not to run in 2024.

As evidence continues to mount that President Biden is personally, deeply compromised by our mortal enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, everything he is doing to help the CCP demands urgent national security scrutiny. Fortunately, eight U.S. Senators have just added a new item to that list – and are calling for corrective action.

Last month, the Biden administration announced that it was terminating a Justice Department program called “the China Initiative” that was successfully exposing and rooting out CCP espionage inside the United States.

The pretext for terminating the Initiative is that it was “racist” thanks to the Chinese Communists’ practice of using PRC nationals, students and naturalized American citizens from China as spies.

The Senators are right: The CCP is a threat that cannot safely be ignored on such grounds. If anything, the effort to defeat it requires a vastly redoubled effort.

Senators have established that Katanja Brown Jackson is unfit to serve on the Supreme Court. Will a majority of them now spare us the damage she would do there?

Under cross-examination, Judge Jackson has signaled that she has not merely a problematic judicial philosophy, but a radical ideological agenda. Her mask has slipped revealing: an admirer of the subversive Maoist divide-and-conquer strategy known as Critical Race Theory; a slavish devotee of leftist identity politics; and a reflexive advocate for even the most odious of criminals, namely terrorists and child sex offenders.

Some Republican Senators previously voted to put her on an appellate court bench. They are now on notice that she would not only be a hard leftist justice. It is predictable that, if confirmed, she will radicalize what is today a minority of the Court, but possibly a future majority.

Thirty-nine years ago today, my old boss, President Ronald Reagan launched the Strategic Defense Initiative. It was intended to enable the United States to protect its people from nuclear armed missiles, not avenge their mass murder after the fact.

Tragically, unbeknownst to most Americans, we still have no comprehensive defense against the vast, and recently upgraded, missile arsenals of enemies like Russia’s Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping.

Worse yet, the American people are largely ignorant of an another, ominous fact: We are relying on an obsolescent nuclear arsenal almost entirely put into place by Mr. Reagan and his predecessors even to avenge an attack on them.

Amidst Russia’s wholesale destruction of Ukraine, growing trouble much closer to home is getting scant attention. We’re about to lose what’s left of free Latin America to our indigenous and foreign enemies there – with calamitous economic, demographic and national security consequences here.

Straws in the wind include Chile’s new Marxist government’s installation of the granddaughter of former Communist president Salvador Allende as its defense minister. Cartels engorged on the money they have made smuggling across our southern border since Joe Biden opened it are waging all-out war against the Mexican military. And impending elections may well result in anti-American leftists running the table in their last two holdouts: Colombia and Brazil.

We must secure our southern border, oppose Chinese and Russian support for their regional Communist International, the Forum of San Paolo, and stand with those in Latin America who love freedom.
