The Biden-Harris administration doubled-down this week on its assertion that we now face very dangerous adversaries within the United States. Incredibly, it’s not worried about Antifa, Black Lives Matter or Islamists. We’re told instead the most menacing of such foes are white supremacists.

A new domestic counter-terrorism strategy and ominous remarks by Attorney General Merrick Garland harken back to  leftist tropes about “countering violent extremism” promoted during the Obama-Biden administration. Meanwhile, political commissars are indoctrinating military personnel with so-called “critical race theory” training and scrutinizing with suspicion  patriots withdrawing from the military.

As if these efforts to divide, alienate and radicalize our countrymen and women weren’t bad enough, Team Biden has another initiative straight out of the Marxist playbook: encourage family members to rat each other out to authorities.

We must stop all such fratricidal subversion, now.

Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin are meeting today in Geneva. Unfortunately, since this isn’t their first date, we pretty much know how it will go.

Longtime official notetaker for the then-Vice President’s meetings Mike McCormick, recounts in his “unauthorized” Biden biography how Putin made a point of humiliating his American interlocutor, whom he clearly considered to be weak and foolish. And that was in Biden’s relative prime.

Sadly, Mr. Biden has recently earned the Russian dictator’s contempt anew. Evidently, the President authorized a major strategic concession – ensuring that our European allies will become even more dependent on Russian natural gas supplies – just to get a summit. Then, his administration preemptively and unilaterally terminated one of America’s very few nuclear modernization programs.

Whatever the public atmospherics, you can bank on the upshot of this encounter in Geneva being another win for Putin.

Kamala Harris tells us she’s worried about the “root causes” of illegal immigration. Although she recently visited Latin America to find out what they are, the Vice President didn’t examine while there a potentially huge new impetus for that problem – and a disaster for the region and our country, more generally.

One of South America’s most important nations is Peru. It may soon be lost to Communists who have been working for decades, with varying degrees of success, to take over, bankrupt and otherwise destroy states from Mexico to Argentina.

Inevitably, when that happens, millions of people flee their homelands. Venezuela is a prime example of this phenomenon at the moment.

Anger over Covid and widespread fraud may make an avowed Marxist with ties to Shining Path terrorists Peru’s next president. If Pedro Castillo wins, our hemisphere will lose, big time.

The fall from power yesterday of longtime Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls to mind the thankless banishment of Winston Churchill when he was delivering Britain from the scourge of Naziism at World War II’s end. At least in Churchill’s case, it came as a period of acute national peril was receding.

Today, the dangers to the Jewish State are – if anything – intensifying. The Biden administration has helped transform what was, just six months ago, one of the most promising geostrategic environments for the Free World’s outpost in the Middle East into one fraught with emboldened enemies, undermined allies and strained bilateral relations with Washington.

And unlike Churchill, Bibi Netanyahu was not decisively defeated at the polls, but by an improbable and unsustainable parliamentary coalition. He may well soon be back in charge –  which would be good for Israel, and for America.

School board meetings across America have become battlegrounds between the radical leftists now dominating academia and parents and teachers like Xi Van Fleet who are bravely challenging the indoctrination of our children with so-called “Critical Race Theory” and “Action Civics.”

Mrs. Van Fleet, who survived Mao Zedong’s horrific Cultural Revolution, told her Virginia school board this week that they are radicalizing kids with “cultural Marxist” brainwashing. The only difference is Red Guards here use “racism,” rather than “class warfare,” to divide and conquer our country.

Another front in the counter-revolution is rising opposition to the use of what would better be described as “Communist Racist Training” commissioned by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to purge patriots from the military – in violation of his sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution.

Vice President Kamala Harris has been widely criticized for her performance telling the people of Central America how to solve the “root causes” of their nations’ problems.

Maybe we’re missing something. True, there’s no evidence the Veep actually understands the conditions in Guatemala, El Salvador or Mexico – let alone that she’s addressing them effectively.

But, in fairness, it is indisputable that Kamala Harris and her running mate, Joe Biden, are in fact doing a lot to address the root cause of illegal immigration -- in our country. Specifically, they are making America much less attractive to people who yearn for freedom and opportunity by trying to turn the U.S. into just another oppressive political system and economic basket-case.

Unfortunately, taking down America probably won’t keep people from coming here. But it sure will ruin America for those privileged to call her home.

Congressman Eric Swalwell of California is back in the news. It appears this inveterate practitioner of Saul Alinsky’s brand of radical leftist political warfare is complicit in an actually illegal act against Rep. Mo Brooks, a Republican colleague now running for an Alabama Senate seat.

Of course, Swalwell’s latest misconduct, involving the use of a process-server who unlawfully entered Mr. Brooks’ home as part of a frivolous lawsuit, pales by comparison to the significance of his previous episode involving the serial betrayal of his country to our enemies.

Specifically, this member of the House Intelligence Committee accepted sexual favors and campaign contributions from a Chinese Communist spy nicknamed Fang Fang. It’s no longer possible to ignore the dangers associated with Swalwell’s continued access to any classified information, let alone virtually all of our nation’s secrets.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi must end that vulnerability now.

Yesterday, we talked about a former Chinese general who was, incredibly, allowed to buy 200 square miles of Texas. His vast ranch is near the Mexican border and vital Laughlin Air Force Base. It also will feature an ominously long runway.

The pretext for this unimaginable acquisition by a billionaire long associated with the Chinese Communist Party is that General Sun Guangxin wants to plug a wind-farm into the Texas and U.S. grids. Allowing hostile foreign powers to have ANYTHING to do with our critical infrastructure is a terrible mistake.

Fortunately, the Texas state legislature agreed. Governor Greg Abbott yesterday signed into law legislation barring China, Russia, North Korea and Iran from such tie-ins. Now the federal government must reverse its earlier, outrageous decision to allow Gen. Sun to set up the rest of his operation in the Lone Star State.

With the focus finally intensifying on what amounts to a Chinese Communist Party biological attack against the world, another of its ominous threats to this country remains largely unaddressed. Prominent Texas financier Kyle Bass told Epoch Times TV last week that the purchase of 200 square miles of his state by a retired People’s Liberation Army general is a national security threat.

This land a) is near the Mexican border; b) is 10 miles from a sensitive U.S. Air Force base; c) will supposedly become a wind-farm that will tie into the state and national electric grids and d) will reportedly have a 10,000-foot runway. Any one of these features in unfriendly hands would be dangerous. In combination, they are simply intolerable.   

Tell your elected representatives that Morning Star Ranch must not become a new Chinese Communist Party threat to America.

The Chinese Communist Party’s brutal repression in Hong Kong, enabled by Covid-19 restrictions and aggressive prosecutions for alleged “national security” crimes, has made it difficult – and dangerous – for residents to hold the mass protests that have traditionally marked the anniversary of the CCP’s murder of ten thousand or more pro-democracy demonstrators in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

A virtual, global vigil has been arranged, however, that may afford an opportunity for millions in the city and elsewhere to express solidarity with the victims, living and dead.

To his credit, Joe Biden has chosen this moment to issue an Executive Order that would actually punish the Chinese Communists for their crimes against humanity and other, threatening behavior. By amending and strengthening an order promulgated by his predecessor, the President has imposed U.S. capital markets sanctions on 59 companies tied to the CCP’s military.
