Providentially and to the U.S. military’s credit, its last evacuation flight from Kabul was able to depart Afghan airspace without incident. Now the damage assessment must begin, starting with who has been left behind and what the Taliban and other Sharia-supremacists will do to them.
That assessment must also address how this rout came to pass. President Biden deflects blame and has yet to hold any of his subordinates accountable – apart from Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stu Scheller who demanded their accountability and was summarily relieved of his command.
The Committee on the Present Danger: China is providing its own damage assessment today with a webinar from 1-3 p.m. Eastern Time, reviewing how the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party will be affected by Biden’s Afghan defeat. Find out what it will mean for you – and the rest of us – at PresentDangerChina.org.

I had the privilege of co-hosting a special edition (here and here) of Steve Bannon’s War Room Pandemic on Saturday. One of its most disturbing insights was Steve’s concerning a U.S. Northern Command disclosure that the Biden team had been planning on relocating Afghan nationals in this country since last April.
That helps explain why it is that over 100,000 of them have been extracted from Kabul airport, compared to less than 6,000 American citizens. That preference means many of our countrymen and women likely will be left behind in Afghanistan when the evacuation soon ends.
It remains to be seen what terrible consequences happen over there. No less ominous, though, is the prospect that there will be among the large numbers of Afghans admitted into this country without proper vetting some who wish to do us harm here.

The Biden administration has not only armed the Taliban – the terrorist group now doing business as the government of Afghanistan – with an arsenal of advanced weapons. Those jihadists have also been armed with what one unnamed defense official called “a kill list” identifying U.S. personnel, contractors and Afghan allies.
That’s almost certainly a death sentence for perhaps thousands of those folks being left behind. After all, the Taliban have reportedly already reverted to form, doing round-ups and summary executions of their enemies.
Not satisfied with dispensing information it shouldn’t, Team Biden has dispensed with data it urgently needs. Consequently, thousands of Afghans lacking identification have been admitted into our country. One of America’s preeminent authorities on jihadism, Robert Spencer, says it is a certitude that among them are Sharia-supremacists bent on murder here.
It’s not a presidency. It’s a wrecking operation.

An alarming pattern is now unmistakable. The Biden-Harris administration repeatedly accommodates the Chinese Communist Party. This may be shocking and should be recognized as ominous, but it certainly is no surprise.
The latest example is the reported inability of the U.S. intelligence community to confirm that a Chinese biological warfare lab in Wuhan was the source of the Covid-19 pandemic. Given what we know, only the willfully blind could thus effectively exonerate the CCP.
Unfortunately, Joe Biden and many of his senior subordinates are deeply compromised by the Chinese Communists. And that reality seems likely to translate into still more – and more dangerous – concessions in the future.
Turning a blind eye to the PRC’s unrestricted warfare against us, aimed at destroying this country, will only further embolden and enable our mortal enemy, the Chinese Communist Party. It must stop now.

My beloved boss, Ronald Reagan, repeatedly warned that “Every generation faces an existential threat to freedom,” adding that it had to be fought for and defended, and passed on to the next generation to do the same.
With each passing day, it becomes clearer that we are now beset by the existential threat to liberty of our time. For example, we are being subjected to: an unmitigated disaster in Afghanistan that is emboldening jihadist and other enemies and alienating our friends; the arrival of millions of illegal aliens – some of whom are ill with Covid and/or other diseases, all of whom are unvetted; the institution of vaccine mandates and passports highly susceptible to Chinese-style government abuse; and legislation that would foreclose future free and fair elections.
Will we defend freedom, or ignominiously bequeath to the next generation a formerly free America?

It remains to be seen how many Americans and allied Afghans will be left behind by the Taliban’s month’s end deadline. What will remain, however, is an arsenal of U.S.-supplied weapons that will exponentially increase the destructive power of the newly reestablished terror-sponsoring Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.
President Biden blithely assured us in July that the Afghan army was one of the world’s most powerful militaries. This proved, of course, to be as wrong as virtually every other facet of his reckless decision to withdraw all American forces from the country by September 11th.
But what is true is that the arms given to the Afghan military, or otherwise abandoned by ours as it departed, have the potential in the wrong hands to be extremely dangerous. They are in the wrong hands now and headed to others around the world.
Welcome to the Biden Legacy.

Col. Richard Kemp is a highly decorated retired British army officer who commanded his country’s forces in Afghanistan. On Sunday, he shared with Fox New’s Mark Levin the perspective of one of America’s most steadfast allies concerning the Biden bug-out from Afghanistan.
Richard Kemp described it as “The most disastrous foreign policy event for the United States of America since the Second World War….It is worse than Vietnam because the North Vietnamese were not trying to destroy the USA.”
The same cannot, of course, be said of the Global Islamic Movement – of which we have now made the Taliban a leading force – or Russia and China. The colonel’s bottom line is that “The threat to the West is worse now than it was on 9/11.”
For such betrayal, Col. Kemp recommended that the Commander-in-Chief not be impeached, but court-martialed.
Amen.

U.S. Marines proudly characterize themselves as “no better friend, no worse enemy.” Tragically, the Biden-Harris wrecking operation is encouraging the world to perceive our country as “no better enemy, no worse friend.”
We should never encourage hostile nations to regard us with contempt and long-time friend deem us as, at best, unreliable. But this a particularly dangerous moment for such perceptions to take hold – as they are.
Of special concern is the prospect that possibly China and/or Russia – and for sure the planet’s jihadist Sharia-supremacists are being emboldened by Team Biden’s ignominious bug-out and betrayal in Afghanistan. The costs of abandoning the posture that Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump called “peace through strength” and that our Marine warriors exemplify can be needlessly and exceedingly high.
Joe Biden must revert to this vital approach or get out of the way of those who will.

The victorious Taliban are waging a new campaign in Afghanistan. It’s called a “charm offensive.” Spokesmen say they intend to join the “international community,” respect the rights of women and allow the emigration of what the Biden administration calls “vulnerable people.”
These assurances are belied by the terrorist group’s past behavior and the current actions of its operatives across the country. While reports of widespread summary executions, rapes, dismembrings and enslavement are becoming increasingly difficult to verify, they cannot be ignored – if only because they are prescribed by sharia, authoritative Islam’s brutally repressive doctrine to which the Taliban faithfully adhere.
The Taliban’s sharia-supremacism portends terrible affliction for the long-suffering people of Afghanistan. It also endangers large numbers of Americans potentially trapped there. Ditto the “vulnerable people” in this country if we wind up inadvertently importing it here, along with unvetted Afghans.

“America Last” has emerged as an organizing principle of the Biden wrecking operation. Examples abound. To pick one, the President has deep-sixed the Keystone EX pipeline and undermined U.S. energy independence, but he cleared the way for the Russian Nordstream 2 pipeline that will make our allies more reliant on a hostile power for natural gas.
Here’s another: Illegal immigrants have been allowed into and distributed all over our country, without regard for their predictable contribution to upticks in Covid-19 and other public health crises. Yet, Americans are being told they must mask up, lock down and show their papers.
Now, amidst the catastrophe in Afghanistan brought on by the Biden bug-out, the Pentagon will not give priority to Americans awaiting extraction and somehow will find space to bring some thirty thousand Afghan refugees to military bases here.
Restore “America First.”
