Evidently, the nation’s top military officer has indeed betrayed our country. Through a spokesman yesterday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley confirmed that he had conversations last October and in January with his Chinese counterpart aimed at “avoiding unintended consequences or conflict.”
That characterization appears to be an effort to spin Milley’s reported promise to warn the People’s Liberation Army if we were going to attack China. Evidently, the general has also extracted from his senior subordinates what he saw as an “oath” to him that could conflict with their oaths to support and defend the Constitution.
Such outrages demand the JCS chairman’s resignation and/or his court-martialing. Unfortunately, President Biden declared yesterday that he had “great confidence in Gen. Milley.” We can have none in either man -- or other U.S. officials like them who favor “China’s rise.”

Over160 retired Flag Officers for America have recently called for the resignation of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They deemed it warranted by General Mark Milley’s unconscionable failure of leadership with respect to racist training and purges of military personnel and America’s strategic defeat in Afghanistan.
The case for terminating Gen. Milley has become even more clear-cut and urgent, however, thanks to as-yet-unrefuted claims in a forthcoming book entitled Peril. We’re told he sought to allay improbable Chinese concerns that President Trump would launch a nuclear strike after losing the 2020 election, by promising to forewarn his counterpart of any attack.
Such a warning would almost certainly give aid and comfort to our enemy and probably result in immense loss of American lives. If it happened, that amounts to treason and would justify Mark Milley’s overdue firing and a court-martial.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken testified yesterday before House lawmakers and will do the same with Senate ones today, ostensibly about Biden’s humiliating strategic defeat in Afghanistan. The unmistakable leitmotif, however, is the nature and conduct of this administration more generally.
More often than not, as with the Afghan debacle, the beneficiaries are our enemies. Communist China’s Xi, global jihadistists, Vladimir Putin and other thugs are delighted with what the Biden Team evidently considers to be its job: the “managed decline” of the United States.
Unfortunately, what we are experiencing is increasingly our nation’s unmanaged decline – a reckless, pell-mell, even Marxist takedown of Americans’ security, institutions, freedoms and prosperity. Joe Biden, Tony Blinken and their ilk are upending the strategy Ronald Reagan so successfully implemented. Today, it seems “We lose, they win” is the hallmark of this appalling presidency.
Enough already.

On the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the FBI released some information long sought by survivors concerning Saudi Arabia’s involvement in those murderous jihadist acts. Unredacted revelations suggest a Saudi consular official and a suspected spy helped two of the hijackers.
At a moment when we both honor those killed two decades ago and have cause to worry increasingly about terrorist attacks in the offing elsewhere and here, insights into their Sharia-supremacist wellspring and enablers are vitally needed.
That includes U.S. government data about the help the Iranian government gave to 9/11 plotters. Five years ago, a federal judge issued an $11 billion judgment against the regime in Tehran for its role. Before the Biden administration does any further deals with Iran, we need a full accounting of the mullahs’ complicity and the payments to which still-grieving survivors are entitled.

Twenty years ago tomorrow, I was in my Washington office after al Qaeda’s terrorists struck our country. Consequently, I had a providential insight into a form of jihad that has proven over the intervening decades to be even more lethal than that day’s violent manifestations.
The Sharia-supremacists of the Muslim Brotherhood call it “civilization jihad.” They use stealthy influence operations and subversion until violent means can be employed decisively to achieve totalitarian Islamic victory.
On 9/11, I witnessed a gathering of leading Islamists that I believe resulted in the Brotherhood successfully blinding the U.S. government and military from that day to this to the true nature of the so-called “War on Terror” – thereby, rendering us incapable of waging it successfully. Witness Joe Biden’s humiliating defeat in Afghanistan.

In Hollywood, as in life more generally, timing is everything. So, it will be interesting to see how a flattering new movie about Dr. Anthony Fauci fares at the box office this weekend.
After all, it was preceded by the leak of 900 government documents confirming that President Biden’s point man on the Covid pandemic has repeatedly lied about it – including under oath before the Congress.
Of particular concern are revelations that Fauci falsely denied having underwritten genetic engineering research in the Chinese biological weapons laboratory in Wuhan widely believed to be the source of the virus responsible for killing millions around the world, including many Americans.
Tony Fauci must be held accountable for his role in enabling this disaster, and then lying about it. Ditto for his funding of Chinese military virologists still working in laboratories in this country.

As we commemorate the murder of nearly 3,000 Americans twenty years ago, the people who made the 9/11 attack possible have already begun to celebrate that act of jihad.
The Taliban just kicked their party into high gear with the announcement of their new government. Don’t be fooled by claims that it is an “interim” one. What matters is that it’s exclusively comprised of Sharia-supremacists – some of them in charge the last time the Taliban were in power. Others are Gitmo alumni. And the minister entrusted with internal security is a Haqqani jihadist with a $5 million U.S. bounty on his head.
The question occurs: How many of the Afghan refugees Joe Biden has just brought here share those jihadis’ commitment to Sharia – and its requirement that violence be used to force the world to submit to that totalitarian code?

The betrayal of our country involved in Joe Biden’s humiliating strategic defeat in Afghanistan has prompted calls for his resignation, impeachment and even his court-martialing. As awareness grows that a prime beneficiary of this debacle is the Chinese Communist Party, the fact that it has deeply compromised the President and his team can only reinforce demands for accountability.
Unfortunately, other betrayals are also aiding Communist China. Even uber-leftist George Soros recognizes that “the U.S. and China are engaged in a life-and-death conflict” and warns Americans should not invest in such an “enemy.”
Yet, Politico reports that Wall Street and other business groups are working with so-called “progressives” on Capitol Hill to block legislative initiatives aimed at punishing the CCP for its human rights abuses and national security threats.
Such betrayals must be terminated forthwith – and costs accrue to their perpetrators.

The Biden administration insists that its end to the Afghan war was an enormous success. To paraphrase Bill Clinton, that depends on what the definition of “success” is.
Taking nothing away from the brave Americans who extracted some 120,000 people from the jaws of the Taliban’s killing machine, whether the evacuation was a success will depend, in part, on whether that number includes jihadists who are being admitted without vetting into this country and may be, perhaps literally, ticking time-bombs.
The fact that the Biden team is trying to gaslight us into believing a rout was actually a great accomplishment not only further undermines confidence in its leadership and agenda. This stunning misrepresentation also puts into sharp relief, and discredits, what actually constitute other “Big Lies” perpetrated by Mr. Biden and his political and media allies over the past year.

Yesterday, President Biden declared an end to the war in Afghanistan and “looked,” as a result, to a “safer,” “more secure” future for America. In so doing, he ignored the central delusion that one side can end a war unilaterally other than by surrendering.
Now, we have seen what such an ignominious surrender looks like – and have a sense of how it has enriched, empowered and emboldened our enemies in Afghanistan and elsewhere. For instance, consider the recent announcement that, henceforth, ships transiting China’s “territorial waters” must get its approval to do so.
Since the Chinese Communist Party asserts such waters include the South China Sea, it appears that U.S. warships, submarines and commercial vessels would be required to register passages there, including destinations, routes and contents – or face repercussions by the Chinese military.
Hot wars have been precipitated by less.
