It’s a grave mistake for intelligence services and security policymakers to obsess about hostile powers’ intentions, instead of their actual capabilities to act aggressively. Most immediately, we need to focus less on whether the Chinese Communist Party intends at the moment to go to war than on whether it is prepared to do so.
What are known as indicators and warnings increasingly suggest that the Chinese have put into place the capabilities to invade Taiwan and believe they can now successfully exercise that option.
A recent, compelling Center for Security Policy webinar illuminated the techniques China would likely use to act on their oft-repeated threats to undertake such an attack. Given the exceedingly dangerous global implications, visit PresentDangerChina.org to see measures that we must take now to counter the CCP’s ominous capabilities and, thereby, deter whatever it may intend to unleash.

For six decades, every U.S. president has recognized the third week in July as “Captive Nations Week.” Joe Biden’s team – a group deeply compromised by what is today the principal perpetrator of such transnational repression, namely the Chinese Communist Party – however, is reportedly contemplating abandoning such a statement of solidarity with the enslaved.
This is especially deplorable since such a declaration is more needed today than ever. In fact, a new study to be released next week by the Committee on the Present Danger: China’s Captive Nations Coalition will document how the CCP is in the process of effectively adding through its colonial, debt-trap-financed Belt and Road Initiative as many as 140 other nations to those it has already captured, namely Tibet, Southern Mongolia, East Turkistan and most recently the territory of Hong Kong.
We must denounce, not silently encourage, such behavior.

Like millions of Americans, I have become a huge fan of Tucker Carlson. His truth-telling monologues and conversations with courageous guests who do the same keep hope alive like the U.S.-sponsored dissidents and defectors’ Cold War broadcasts behind the Iron Curtain.
Tucker posted yesterday on his extraordinary new Fox Nation program what I consider to be the most important interview by anyone in memory. I confess to being less than objective as it featured an extremely intimate and deeply moving chat with my cherished friend, Jon Voight.
For an hour, the Oscar-winning actor described an interaction with God that changed his life, an act of humanity that he credits with transforming his career and the imperative of telling the truth about the enemies, foreign and domestic, seeking the destruction of our country.
Please watch and widely share Jon Voight at FoxNation.com.

The State Department has just issued a much-needed warning to Wall Street and other corporate enablers of the Chinese Communist Party. It served notice that those involved in supply chains or other business dealings in western China are “highly likely” to be violating U.S. law.
That’s because the Chinese Communists are engaged there in such crimes as genocide, forced organ harvesting, serial rape, persecution of religious minorities and slave-labor. For these reasons – and its myriad other crimes elsewhere, the Chinese Communist Party should be designated and punished as a Transnational Criminal Organization.
In the meantime, U.S. financiers and capitalists are now squarely on notice: Many are not only engaged in risky business that may result in serious losses for their clients and shareholders, as well as harm to the national security. It may render them accomplices to the CCP’s criminal conduct.

Thousands of courageous Cubans have taken to the streets across their country calling for freedom from Communism and an end to the brutal regime that has imposed it upon them for decades. Free Cuba’s friends throughout this country urged the Biden administration to express solidarity with the counter-revolutionaries in the hope, at last, of liberating the island from the Castros and their ilk. The White House finally, grudgingly released a generally inadequate statement.
One can only hope that, as the demonstrators in Cuba are beaten, shot and imprisoned, the people of Peru will be spared a similar fate. For that to happen, though, a forensic audit must take place immediately to prevent electoral fraud from making a Marxist named Pedro Castillo that country’s next president.
Americans have a huge stake in liberty throughout our hemisphere. We must stand with its freedom-fighters.

Forty leftist non-governmental organizations want the Biden-Harris administration to turn a blind-eye to the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes against humanity and its growing economic and military threats to us and the rest of the world.
Using rhetoric that mirrors the Chinese Communists’ propaganda line, their joint letter asserts that climate change imperils the world, U.S. pollution is most responsible and China is a necessary partner in staving off disaster.
This prescription for lowering our guard and declining to challenge the Chinese Communist Party’s pursuit of not just a Cold War, but a “People’s War,” against the United States will likely resonate with the Biden team’s many “Old Friends” of China. If we don’t counter decisively today’s existential threat – which is the CCP – the longer-term effects of whatever change is taking place in the world’s climate will be the least of our problems.

A recent poll found that a majority of Americans believe Joe Biden is not in charge. His remarks yesterday about the end next month of U.S. military operations in Afghanistan reinforce that realistic perception.
Notably, the apparent Commander-in-Chief-in-name-only assured us the Taliban is “highly unlikely” to own the whole country. He said there’s “no circumstance” in which helicopters will lift desperate people from the U.S. embassy roof like when we abandoned – and lost – South Vietnam.
Only someone utterly disconnected from reality, and responsibility, could make such statements – let alone insist that the U.S. will continue to support the Afghan military and the “people of Afghanistan” will decide their country’s fate.
What will the person who is actually running America do when these preposterous assertions prove wrong – especially to protect us from a triumphant Taliban and emboldened Global Jihad Movement?

Yesterday, Donald Trump reasserted the sort of robust national leadership that was the hallmark of his presidency and that has been sorely lacking of late. He is the lead class representative in a massive class-action lawsuit against Big Tech for suppressing his free speech and that of untold others.
The suit exposes an obvious, but infrequently recognized, fact: Social media platforms like Facebook, Google and Twitter have become abusively powerful conglomerates thanks to their cozy relationship with government. Specifically, they benefit hugely from protection against litigation provided by Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
Mr. Trump’s suit is also expected to demonstrate that the government has conspired with Big Tech to do something it cannot do, thanks to the First Amendment – namely, silence unwelcome critics, even the President of the United States.
God speed, Donald Trump. Your fight is America’s fight.

Congress increasingly recognizes that the Chinese Communist Party poses a mortal peril to our country and the rest of the world, which it seeks to dominate. Both houses have just approved bipartisan bills to counter the CCP’s advantages in key technologies with ominous military applications.
Thus, legislators should also weigh in on the Chinese Communists’ success on an even more worrying front – namely, their deep compromise of top policymakers in the Biden Administration, from the President on down. Reportedly, a key addition to their ranks is Thomas Zimmerman, a Special Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel. He’s been a Fellow at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, which the FBI warns has close ties to China’s spy agency.
Such appointments are a clear counter-intelligence threat to America’s national security. To learn more about the magnitude of this danger, visit AccountabilityInitiative.org.

Last week, Chinese dictator Xi Jinping marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Transnational Criminal Organization doing business as the Chinese Communist Party with a speech notable for its overtly menacing content. Xi’s nationalist diatribe threatened Taiwan and warned the rest of the world of dire consequences if they challenged his country’s “Steel Great Wall.”
What was particularly troubling about this ominous celebration of one of history’s most infamous events – after all, some 500 million Chinese men, women, children and unborn infants have perished at the CCP’s hands over the past century – was the response of the Western press. Most reports failed to convey the dangerous implications of Xi’s content and tone. Many were actually laudatory.
Americans are dangerously ill-served by the illusion that Xi and his party are other than mortal enemies of our country and freedoms.
