The 100th anniversary of the founding of history’s most murderous transnational criminal organization was a fitting occasion to consider the Chinese Communist Party’s state-of-the-art totalitarianism, and what it means for us.

A webinar I moderated yesterday on so-called “vaccine passports” established that requiring digital proof of Covid-19 vaccination would enable the Chinese Communists’ “social credit system” to be insinuated here. After all, vast amounts of our personal information are already in Big Tech’s hands. If aggregated on a vaccine passport platform, that data could easily be abused by government, as is done daily in China.

For example, one vax passport proponent boasts such a technology could be used to “lock” unvaccinated people in their homes. Other restrictions on our freedoms would surely follow.

America lost one of its most remarkable men this week. Donald Rumsfeld served his country with distinction in uniform, in the Congress, as NATO ambassador and in such key executive branch positions as White House Chief of Staff and twice as Secretary of Defense.

“Rummy” was equally impressive during his time as a successful business leader. Drawing on both life experiences, the Secretary developed Rumsfeld’s Rules – a handbook filled with wry insights and practical prescriptions, informed by hard experience and the help of his friends.

One of his most trenchant maxims was widely condemned when he uttered it, but is as true today as ever: “You go to war with the Army you have.” Even as we mourn Donald Rumsfeld’s passing, we would do well to remember that admonition by ensuring that our military is once again, truly second to none.

The House of Representatives on Monday joined the U.S. Senate in authorizing enormous investments to restore this country’s competitiveness vis a vis the increasingly high technology threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party and its so-called “civil-military fusion” strategy. It’s about time.

We can’t compete effectively, however, if members of our team are playing for the other side.

Shortly before the House vote, Rep. Devin Nunes disclosed some early, chilling findings of an ongoing investigation including that: “Corporate America is a target of China’s malign influence campaign, and unfortunately, we’re finding that some U.S. corporations are willing participants. Beijing’s influence on corporate America, and China’s overall role in the U.S. supply chain, are significant national security threats….”

Investing giga-billions of dollars to enhance American competitiveness won’t succeed unless and until Wall Street and other U.S.businesses stop aiding and abetting the enemy.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has made clear his determination to root out racism and extremism from the ranks of the U.S. military. Unless, that is, the racism is black supremacism and the extremism is Marxist in character.

In those cases, service personnel exhibiting such behavior are evidently immune from criticism and the sorts of purges in which the Secretary and his minions are engaged, pursuant to the tenets of so-called Critical Race Theory prized by the Biden-Harris administration.

By contrast, former Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump declared over the weekend that, were he still in office, he would have fired such military leaders. And a growing number of our countrymen have signed a petition “respectfully insisting” that Secretary Austin “honor the oath” of office that obliges him to support and defend the Constitution.

Rumors are flying that one of the most important enemy spies in U.S. history has defected to the Defense Intelligence Agency. If true, his debriefings could prove a tremendous boon to our national security – and potentially the death knell for the Biden presidency.

The defector is reportedly Dong Jingwei, China’s highest ranking counter-intelligence officer. He would know his country’s most closely held secrets – including: the truth about the Wuhan virus and the murderous worldwide pandemic it precipitated; whether dictator Xi Jinping’s hold on power is shaky; and the success of the CCP’s subversive penetration of U.S. intelligence, other government agencies and businesses.

Dong would also be able to confirm whether President Biden and others among our leaders have been compromised by the Chinese Communists. We can only pray that he actually is safely here – and, if so, that he’ll stay that way.

One of the most searing images in America’s military history is that of untold numbers of terrified South Vietnamese civilians trying to board the last helicopter on the roof of our embassy in Saigon in April 1975. It captured both our nation’s humiliating political defeat in the war there at the hands of impoverished, but relentless, communist enemies and presaged the horrific toll they would exact on those we abandoned.

The prospect of an imminent reprise of that disaster is on the minds of Afghan leaders with whom President Biden is meeting today. After all, we’re poised to leave them to their fate at the hands of no-less-ruthless Taliban jihadists emboldened by Mr. Biden’s decision unilaterally to walk away from the so-called “endless war” in Afghanistan.

Treating allies this way ensures we will have fewer friends and more enemies.

The Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda outlets are condemning the arrogance of Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and other U.S. officials, reviling them for lacking a “sense of shame.”

That’s particularly rich since the CCP is simultaneously praising Wuhan Institute of Virology scientists whose research allegedly included the bioengineering of the Covid-19 virus and, what was at best, “an accident” that unleased a pandemic on the world, killing nearly four million people to date. Beijing’s mouthpieces insist that people like the notorious “Bat Lady” of China’s illegal biological weapons program should get the Nobel Prize for Medicine.   

Unfortunately, such Chinese arrogance is but one symptom of the racist and supremacist attitudes that are contributing to dictator Xi Jinping’s determination to dominate the world. We should condemn – and counter – the CCP by recognizing what it is: a transnational criminal organization.

The Iranian mullahs have chosen a serial murderer as their regime’s next president and Supreme Leader-in-waiting. At such a moment, Israel’s most seasoned premier, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been replaced by a fragile coalition dominated by leftists and Islamists. And the Biden administration is determined to appease our enemies in Tehran and undermine our friends in the Middle East.

Fresh from his appalling summit with one tyrant – Russia’s Vladimir Putin – President Biden’s administration is signaling that another one is in the works with China’s Xi Jinping.

This comes in the immediate aftermath of Xi’s latest attack on what little remains of freedom in Hong Kong. Police raided last week the offices of the former British colony’s most popular pro-democracy paper, Apple Daily, seizing equipment and arresting five editors without bond. They seem doomed to join their courageous boss, Jimmy Lai, in the Chinese Communist Party’s equivalent of the Soviet gulag archipelago.

A bilateral summit will inevitably legitimate and reward Xi for such ruthless oppression at home and his increasingly aggressive behavior internationally. If we don’t want to invite more of both we should, instead, penalize him by decoupling the U.S. and Hong Kong dollars and boycotting next February’s Olympic “genocide games.”

Americans across the country are awakening to a frightening reality. We are in the midst of a Marxist revolution aimed at “fundamentally transforming” our country.

The alarm is being sounded by parents and teachers, retired military leaders and conservative media hosts led by Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon. In particular, these “counter-revolutionaries” are warning about the effort now well underway to indoctrinate our kids, warriors and public more generally to hate our country and its Constitution.

The good news is that millions of us are recoiling in horror as we learn about the divisive, subversive techniques being sold as “critical race theory,” “action civics,” and “equity.” Once exposed, those responsible – including, school board members, legislators and government officials and top civilian and even uniformed leaders in the Pentagon – are being ridiculed and  repudiated.

Now, they must be replaced and their revolution “cancelled.”
