The true face of the Chinese Communist Party was exposed 32 years ago tonight in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Conservatively ten thousand people were massacred there by the CCP’s military as they demonstrated for democracy around a version of our Statue of Liberty.

To its eternal shame, the George H.W. Bush administration immediately dispatched National Security Advisor Brent Scowcroft to assure the Chinese Communists that we wouldn’t allow their mass murder to interfere with business as usual. The rest, as they say, is history.

The CCP took our measure, found our leaders and elites to be corrupt, unprincipled and weak, and furiously pursued the destruction of our country and world domination ever since.

We must now prove them wrong. Or, as Ronald Reagan said, we’ll be reduced to telling our children what it was like to live in America when men were free.

The Biden administration reportedly intends to send over three hundred million dollars to Palestinian and UN agencies implicated in fomenting – and in some cases actually executing – violent attacks against America’s ally, Israel.

The proposed expenditure is unfortunately just one planned reversal of punitive measures taken by its predecessor. The Trump team acted in the face of Palestinian Authority “pay to slay” rewards for terrorism and refusal to negotiate with Israel and a rabidly pro-Palestinian UN agency’s incitement of hostility towards the Jewish State. Now even the terrorist group Hamas stands to benefit from renewed U.S. reconstruction grants in Gaza.

President Biden boasts “America is back.” Getting back to business as usual in propping up anti-American Palestinians that are, at best, corrupt, and at worst, violent jihadists determined to destroy Israel is a formula for more, not less, war in the Middle East.

The Chinese Communist Party has just announced that it will allow couples to have three children. This is intended as a partial corrective to the devastating demographic and societal effects of earlier population control measures. It’s likely too-little, too-late for China, however. It’s surely still a death sentence for many millions of mostly female babies throughout the country.

Human rights champion Reggie Littlejohn notes the change leaves in place the CCP’s horrifyingly intrusive and repressive system she calls “the Womb Police,” who will “still be tracking women’s fertility and births, and punishing those who find themselves ‘illegally pregnant.’” These police conduct terrifying raids searching for “hidden children.”

The Chinese Communist Party is guilty of the worst genocide in human history with its forcible abortion of an estimated 400 million babies. It is a Transnational Criminal Organization and must be treated as such.

We are called on Memorial Day to pay tribute to those who fought and died to secure for the rest of us the freedom guaranteed by our remarkable Constitution. Arguably, such remembrance has never been more needed than now.

That’s because our armed forces, schoolchildren and people are being subjected to a comprehensive and aggressive effort to defame that document and Republic as the products of “systemic racism.” What an insult to those serving today, who swore to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic – to say nothing of the relatives of those who died doing so!

This Memorial Day, let us resolve to reject so-called “Critical Race Theory” and its proponents’ efforts to demean and undermine a country truly worth dying for.

We’re hearing a lot about “reparations” these days. Mostly it involves the idea that people alive now who had no  responsibility for the repression of others should pay for long-deceased slaves’ suffering. That actually amounts to the redistribution of wealth favored by Marxists. Some even say looting is justified reparations.

It’s a very different matter to hold accountable a government that is directly and currently responsible for the mass murder of millions of people worldwide – many of them Americans. The evidence that the Chinese Communist Party has done just that with a virus it manufactured and deliberately disseminated globally is mounting by the day. Even those in the Biden administration and media who have relentlessly tried to obscure this reality are grudgingly acknowledging it.

The CCP must be designated as a transnational criminal organization and obliged to pay for its pandemic.

Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier has been relieved of his command in the U.S. Space Force. He should, instead, be decorated for his courageous leadership in another critical battlespace: the War of Ideas.

This impressive fighter pilot-turned-space warrior was cashiered after the Defense Secretary ordered members of the armed forces to drop everything to identify and root out “extremists” in the ranks. Colonel Lohmeier warned about the presence there of the most dangerous form of ideological extremism: Marxism. Indeed, he’s authored a new book on the subject entitled, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the U.S. Military.

Evidently, however, in the Biden Pentagon, Marxist extremism in the services is actually permissible and those who disagree must be purged. That’s a formula for disaster for our military, our national security and our country.

It’s time for Tony Fauci to go.

The Chinese Communist Party evidently was responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic. A Chinese military laboratory in Wuhan involved in so-called “gain of function” experiments had the first victims back in November 2019. And such research’s purpose apparently was to develop the properties of the disease that would enhance its effectiveness as a biological weapon.

It’s also clear that Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases played a key role in enabling and even financing such research at that Chinese laboratory. He has not acknowledged – let alone taken responsibility – for having, thereby, played an important role in spawning this murderous virus and the catastrophe it has caused worldwide.

Never mind Tony Fauci’s bad calls on mask-restrictions, lockdowns and non-vaccine treatments for the CCP virus. He should be fired for his role in its creation.

Over 160 former military leaders have recently lent their names to a powerful warning about the Marxist revolution now underway in this country. Incredibly, on orders from the Biden-Harris administration, the flag of an organization whose leaders have explicitly declared they are “trained Marxists” will be flying today over U.S. embassies around the world. 

The idea is to mark the anniversary of George Floyd’s death. The practical effect, however, would be to recognize not a nearly universal desire for improved racial harmony, but to legitimate the Black Lives Matter leadership’s Marxist use of race to divide and conquer nations like ours.

If we are truly to heal our nation, maintain order and make further improvements to our national record on civil rights, politicians and corporations must refrain from endorsing, let alone enabling, radical leftists who have a very different, and dangerous, agenda.

Jews are often the proverbial “canaries in the mineshaft.” When societies tolerate, let alone enable, anti-Semitic sentiment and even attacks, they are usually in decline.

In recent days, rising violence against Jews has occurred here as leftist anti-Semites in Congress denounced Israel for its retaliatory actions against Hamas, the terrorist group that just fired 4,000 rockets indiscriminately into the Jewish State.

While President Biden has paid lip-service to Israel’s “right to exist,” he has also enthusiastically endorsed one such legislator, Rashida Tlaib, a Palestinian activist-turned-Representative who has called for its destruction and voted with fellow Democrats to block even defensive weapons sales to the Israelis.

Make no mistake, those who seek to destroy the Jews and their state generally have no love for America, either. We must repudiate and sanction anti-Semitism, or contribute to our country’s unravelling, as well.

Israel and Hamas, the designated terrorist group that has fired over 4,000 rockets indiscriminately at populated areas in the Jewish State, have agreed to a cease-fire. While it seems to be holding at the moment, that will only be the case until Iran and/or its proxy that misrules the Gaza Strip decide to renew their efforts to murder Israelis. 

And that calculation will doubtless be reached sooner thanks to the willingness of anti-Israel forces in the U.S. Congress to deny our ally the means with which to protect its people against such attacks. House Democrats, under the growing influence of the radical left, this week blocked additional funding to replenish Israel’s vital Iron Dome missile defenses.

Such behavior risks not only making future rocket strikes on Israel from Gaza and perhaps elsewhere more deadly. It also makes them more likely.
