Some House Democrats are expressing concerns about President Biden’s authority to launch a nuclear attack. They think he should have to consult with the Vice President and the Speaker of the House before taking such a step.

This initiative is a two-fer for America’s hard leftists. First, unilaterally dismantling U.S. nuclear capabilities has long been a top priority, both for them and for our enemies in Russia and China. If a requirement is instituted for time-consuming consultations in a scenario in which delay could assure an attacker’s success, the credibility of our deterrent can be negated.

Second, these Democrats are, at least implicitly, signaling a lack of confidence in Joe Biden’s mental capacity. They may thus be soft-launching a campaign for his replacement by a fellow radical leftist, Kamala Harris, pursuant to the 25th Amendment’s mechanism for removing an unfit President.

Matthew Pottinger served as the Deputy National Security Advisor to President Trump. A former China-based Wall Street Journal reporter turned Marine intelligence officer, he played an outsized role in Mr. Trump’s efforts to defeat the CCP virus and the regime that unleashed it on the world.

On Sunday, Mr. Pottinger publicly shared lessons learned in the course of the Covid pandemic. His Marine’s after-action review showed millions of lives were needlessly lost thanks to Beijing: a) turning loose a deadly disease; b) refusing to acknowledge what happened; then, when reports nonetheless leaked out, c) diverting our therapeutic efforts by encouraging us to believe it was just a bad strain of flu, not a virulent coronavirus.

Such behavior caused unimaginable carnage here and elsewhere and constitutes further evidence of the CCP’s so-called “cultural norm,” better known as genocide.

Members of Congress and the public are understandably puzzled about why the U.S. Capitol remains a razor-wired, heavily defended Green Zone. It seems to be an expensive Maginot Line against a wildly exaggerated external threat to American democracy.

The real peril to our constitutional Republic is now an impending inside job. In both the House and Senate, the slimmest of Democrat majorities are poised to jam through legislation that would: preclude free and fair elections in the future; disarm Americans; open our borders and incentivize millions more aliens to come here illegally; and destroy the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency.

The idea seems to be to use the fortification of Capitol Hill not only to minimize voters’ access to their representatives – especially the 40-plus highly vulnerable Democrats – but to intimidate American patriots into acquiescence to the crushing of their freedoms.

Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon’s popular TV program, War Room Pandemic, has an engaging theme song. Its refrain is “Let’s take down the CCP.” The Chinese Communist Party has a variation on that tagline – “Let’s take down the USA.” Unfortunately, the CCP’s version isn’t just a catchy jingle. It’s a strategic policy, one that is now well-advanced.

The Chinese Communists say they’re in a “People’s War” with us. They’re using “unrestricted warfare” techniques that have already done incalculable damage to our country’s economy, public health, culture and national security.

There is, moreover, evidence that the CCP intervened directly in our 2020 election for the purpose of defeating a presidential candidate who recognized and was determined to counter the threat it poses. Now, we have an administration populated by “old friends” of China and pursuing policies that will help take down the USA.

Joe Biden will tell fellow globalists today that “America is back.” His Munich security conference audience will interpret, and welcome, that as code for repudiating the policies Donald Trump called “America First.” Instead, we’ll be “back” to the approach Barack Obama called “leading from behind.”

Call it “the Great Reset.”

That’s actually the name of an initiative being promoted by an ominous alliance made up of World Economic Forum capitalists, European Union transnationalists and anti-American dictators like Russia’s Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping. Their shared goal is a new world order in which the U.S. is no longer the dominant power and promoting socialism, not freedom, is the organizing agenda.

President Biden may win foreign plaudits for selling out this country in the pursuit of such resetting “convergence.” American patriots, however, will never forgive him for putting this nation last.

President Joe Biden has given the Chinese Communist Party a free-pass to engage in genocide against Muslim Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in Western China. In a televised CNN townhall, he dismissed it as a manifestation of a different “cultural norm.”

Genocide would be more accurately described as a “CCP norm.” Throughout the Party’s sordid history, that transnational criminal organization has repeatedly engaged in truly “systemic racism,” industrial-grade oppression and, yes, mass murder. And the present General Secretary, Xi Jinping, is doing it all again as part of his relentless pursuit of absolute power.

Joe Biden’s evident acquiescence to the CCP’s genocide is morally abominable – and strategically ominous. Was he ordered to do it by Xi during their recent, two-hour phone call? And what else was said that might similarly have betrayed American interests and values? We have a need-to-know.

One such bill is being fast-tracked by congressional Democrats. They misleadingly call it the “For the People Act,” but it’s better known as H.R.1. If you liked how the 2020 elections were conducted, you’ll love this legislation because it will ensure that, from now on, basically every American election, everywhere will be run the same way.

If, instead, you want free and fair elections that respect and uphold our Constitution, rather than impose a one-party state that shreds it, let your representatives in Washington know how you feel about H.R.1 before they vote on it next week. A handful of vulnerable Democrats will decide its fate, and ours.

Donald Trump’s defense gets its turn in his  second Senate impeachment trial today. The former president’s lawyers are expected to focus on the unconstitutionality of the proceeding and the protections afforded by the First Amendment to free political speech.

The rest of us should be focused on a subtext of the prosecution’s case that was directly acknowledged only at the end of its interminable, highly theatrical presentation. Rep. Ted Lieu of California actually declared that “National Guard troops in full body armor still patrol” Washington, D.C. because Mr. Trump refuses to say “the election was not stolen.”

In other words, this impeachment is really about political warfare. Its purpose is: to suppress further inquiry into 2020 electoral grand larceny, enshrine the techniques used to accomplish it and destroy Donald Trump and anyone else who contends it occurred.

That must be repudiated.

America has a problem. Its most dangerous enemy ever, the Chinese Communist Party, is using virtually every available means to destroy us – including fomenting problems in our elections and internal strife in their aftermath.

Our President has a problem, too. He’s contracted the “Biden China Syndrome” and either wants to appease the CCP, or is being coerced by it to do so. Rather than simultaneously reversing all Donald Trump’s efforts to counter Beijing’s onslaught, however, he’s undoing some and announcing the rest are “under review.”

For example, Joe Biden’s reviewing: having Chinese equipment in our electric grid; letting Tiktok continue to hoover up Americans private data; and deciding whether the CCP is engaged in anti-Muslim genocide. Yesterday, he even announced a sweeping, “whole of government” review of our China policy.

Tragically, Biden’s reviews are the equivalent of Nero’s fiddling while Rome burned.

There’s a discernable pattern emerging in the Biden presidency. For example, Mr. Biden legitimated the World Health Organization by reversing Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from an entity clearly in the Chinese Communist Party’s pocket. He also said federal employees can’t describe Covid-19 as “the China virus.”

And, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says there’s “an active conversation” about requiring passengers to demonstrate they’re not infected with that virus before undertaking domestic travel – a rule already imposed in the PRC.

What’s next?  Will we’ll be importing surveillance state systems Beijing uses to monitor and enforce such restrictions, blessed by its puppets at the WHO?

The question occurs: Is this pattern symptomatic of a perilous “Biden China Syndrome,” meaning that we have a Commander-in-Chief who is deeply compromised by the Communist Chinese and determined to appease the CCP and otherwise conform to its dictates?
