In Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial, the former President is not the only one in the dock. So are tens of millions of us if the House prosecutors can successfully implicate Mr. Trump’s supporters in his alleged seditious conspiracy.

After all, the stated purpose of Democratic partisans is to prevent Donald Trump from regaining the presidency in 2024. Consequently, they will not only be vilifying him, but using every opportunity to marginalize and suppress like-minded Americans.

So, expect to hear a lot in this trial about the threat posed by so-called “racists,” “white supremacists,” “domestic terrorists” and even “Christian insurrectionists.” It doesn’t matter that you are none of those things. If the Leftists in Congress, the media and Big Tech can make such lies stick, we will be the ones punished by losing our freedoms, our country and possibly even our lives.

It’s said that, “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” In the case of Joe Biden, the principle should apply as well to people who live in White Houses.

President Biden says his predecessor should not have access to classified intelligence briefings, a courtesy normally extended to former Commanders-in-Chief. Mr. Biden’s stated justification is his fear that Donald Trump “might slip and say something.”

If anyone should be denied access to classified information, it should be Joe Biden. He’s notoriously loose-lipped. He’s also been deeply compromised by our nation’s most dangerous adversary – the Chinese Communist Party.

And President Biden has demonstrated utter contempt for the most basic of security concerns by reportedly consulting on China policy with his son, Hunter – a profound counter-intelligence risk given more than a billion dollars by CCP operatives.

Can Joe Biden really cast the first stone?

Yesterday, President Joe Biden used a foreign policy address to insist that “America is back.” But back to what? Based on the contents of the rest of the speech and his performance to date the answer appears to be: Back to the failed Obama-Biden administration’s policies which made it better to be America’s enemy than its friend.

For example, the speech was long on commitments to diplomacy redolent of Obama’s “lead from behind” approach to alliances and the prioritizing of issues like climate change and the “LGTBQI” agenda. Renewed appeasement of Iran was signaled by ending U.S. support for attacks on its proxies in Yemen.

Lip service was paid to meeting “this new moment of advancing authoritarianism.” But Communist China was primarily portrayed as an economic “competitor,” not a comprehensive and mortal threat.  

Back to such policies is a formula for disaster.

President Joe Biden lays out today his foreign policy priorities. At the moment, they seem to be characterized by one principle: Not Trump.

Donald Trump opposed the Chinese Communist Party’s “people’s war” against this country and its “genocide” against Uyghur Muslims. Will a President Biden, deeply compromised by the CCP, return to the Obama practice of engaging, and appeasing, Beijing?

Mr. Trump brought “maximum pressure” to bear against Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Team Biden seems determined to return to the Obama policy of engaging, and appeasing, the mullahs in Tehran.

President Trump persuaded Latin American nations to prevent hordes of illegal immigrants from coming here. President Biden appears intent on jettisoning such cooperation and welcoming the coming caravans.

The Biden approach certainly can’t be characterized as “America First.” If this President puts America last, our national decline will be his lasting legacy.

Of President Biden’s many problematic initiatives aimed at nullifying the Trump legacy, his rebooting of U.S. Middle East policy is particularly ominous. Its hallmarks are: promoting the Palestinians over Israel; dissing the United Arab Emirates that made peace with the Jewish State; and, worst of all, reverting to the Obama-era appeasement of Iran.

Specifically, Team Biden wants to rejoin the Iran nuclear accord that President Trump famously derided as “the stupidest deal of all time.” Having thus entered the bazaar, it should be no surprise that the mullahs are inflating the price of letting us back into an unverifiable agreement that ensures they will get The Bomb.

There’s only one way to prevent the world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the world’s most dangerous weapons: Help the Iranian people remove from power the regime that brutally represses them and threatens us.

On Sunday, CBS News’ “60 Minutes” program warned that the Chinese Communist Party is hoovering up our DNA and other personal medical data. By some estimates, eighty percent of us have already had such information ripped off by PRC companies that are obliged to share it with their government. 

China expert Gordon Chang warns that the CCP is pursuing biological techniques tailored to attack ethnic groups. The U.S. State Department says Beijing’s mass incarceration and oppression of Uyghur Muslims in western China amounts to genocide. The next step may be their mass extermination using genetically engineered viruses.

In the early 2000s, moreover, China’s then-Defense Minister told party cadre that the CCP has a plan to depopulate the United States and colonize it with Han Chinese. Access to our medical data could be a critical element of realizing that horrific ambition.

Americans were horrified to learn in the early days of the Chinese Communist Party-induced pandemic that our country is acutely dependent on China for protective gear and medicines. Now we’re discovering the PRC supplies another determinant of our public health and safety: the U.S. electric grid.

This insight flowed from an early Biden Executive Order suspending his predecessor’s directive barring the installation of foreign equipment like transformers in America’s most critical of critical infrastructures. After all, if the grid goes down and stays down for a protracted time, hundreds of millions of us will perish.

The Biden order calls for a ninety-day review of Trump’s policy. It should be renewed forthwith, but strengthened to ensure that the 300 Chinese transformers and grid-related equipment already in use by American utilities are assessed for cyber and other vulnerabilities and replaced with reliable components ASAP.

A prominent Chinese influence operator named Di Dongcheng recently bragged that China’s “old friends” on Wall Street had for decades ensured that U.S. government policy suited Beijing. He relished the prospect that, after a rough patch with Donald Trump, America would once again be submissive to the PRC under a compliant President Joe Biden.  

That was before then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo designated the CCP’s brutal repression of Uyghur Muslims as “genocide.” And it was before two top Biden administration officials – Mr. Pompeo’s successor, Tony Blinken, and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen – told Congress they agreed with that designation.

Now, the Chinese Communists and their enablers on Wall Street are frantically trying to dissuade the Biden administration from formalizing the genocide finding as it would interfere with their lucrative, but fundamentally anti-American, business dealings with Beijing.

It is genocide. We must say so.

Yesterday, President Joe Biden placed “climate change at the center of our domestic, national security and foreign policy.”

The clear implication is that the very real – and growing – threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and the mullahs of Iran are simply not as important as the peril posed by rising greenhouse gas emissions’ supposedly catastrophic impact on the environment.

That obviously ludicrous idea will nonetheless justify the Biden-Harris team diverting defense resources desperately needed to protect against such real threats to their favored priorities. These will likely include using our military to help other countries cope with rising seas, malaria, food shortages and other putatively climate-induced crises.

Worse yet, climate alarmism will be used to justify treating enemies like the CCP as our partner, rather than what it is: our mortal enemy.

What could possibly go wrong?

The bloom may be coming off the rose of the Biden-Harris presidency. Or maybe it’s just buyer’s remorse as millions of Americans who voted for Joe Biden – and others whose votes against him weren’t accurately counted – are confronting the reality that he’s certainly not the moderate unifier they were promised.

After nearly a week of highly radical executive orders, people across the country and a growing number of their representatives in Congress are beginning to oppose the new administration’s socialist agenda. For example, the U.S. Senate is unlikely to find the votes to approve Biden’s signature open-borders legislation.

Then there are the boys in girls’ locker rooms. Unvetted Sharia-supremacists from lawless nations coming here. Chinese equipment in our electric grid. The abuse and purging of our military personnel. Ending our energy independence. On and on its goes.
