Among President Trump’s most important legacies is depriving the Chinese Communist Party of U.S. investors’ continued underwriting of its military-industrial complex. Unfortunately, that legacy is being seriously jeopardized by what is nominally the Trump Treasury Department.

The huge impact of the Executive Order Mr. Trump issued in November is evident in the fact that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has worked tirelessly to undermine it ever since. He’ll do that again during a Cabinet-level meeting this afternoon.

Mnuchin’s objective is ensuring that his – and Communist China’s – “old friends” on Wall Street can continue investing in Beijing’s threatening military companies until after the Biden administration comes to power.

The Treasury Secretary must not be permitted to get away with sabotaging President Trump and his legacy of decisively countering the Chinese Communist Party, thereby intensifying the danger it represents to the rest of us.

German poet Martin Niemöller famously described how the Nazis achieved absolute power, warning: “First, they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.” He remained silent when they came for other groups of which he was also not a part. When they came for him, there was no one left to help. 

Partisans whose totalitarian tendencies are becoming ever more apparent are now coming for Donald Trump and his supporters. They seek the President’s immediate removal from office and, in the meantime, are eliminating his and his allies’ access to communications platforms. They are ramping up economic warfare against like-minded businesses and are threatening any that might serve or hire Trump-tied individuals.

You may not be affected so far. But make no mistake: Unless this stops, they will, in due course, come for you.

As Americans are preoccupied with the cumulative effects of a pandemic unleashed by the Chinese Communist Party, an election roiled by, among other things, CCP influence operations and a transition of power to a president deeply compromised by his dealings with China, the regime in Beijing appears emboldened to behave ever more aggressively.

For example, Chinese police intensified their suppression of Hong Kong with the arrest of more than fifty prominent dissidents and freedom-fighters. The People’s Liberation Army continued its unprecedented campaign of military pressure and psychological warfare against Taiwan. And China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, ordered his armed forces to be ready for war “at any second.”

If Xi is to be deterred from acting on a perceived window of opportunity for his belligerence, the incoming administration must convincingly establish that America will continue to oppose, not appease, the CCP’s hegemonic ambitions.

Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of Americans demonstrated in support of President Trump and his effort to ensure that the outcome of the 2020 presidential election was determined by every legal vote and not those illegally cast.

Tragically, the best opportunity to ensure that was the case – namely, presentation and debate in Congress on the evidence of voting fraud and misconduct – was lost when as-yet-unidentified individuals unlawfully entered the U.S. Capitol. Ending that reprehensible incursion was relatively easy.

It’s a mistake, however, to expect that the far more important task of healing the Nation can occur simply by silencing millions who feel disenfranchised – let alone by prematurely removing Donald Trump from office.

Healing requires a hearing – an actual, authoritative presentation of evidence of electoral grand larceny. President Trump must ensure that happens now, as an essential part of his promised “orderly transition.”

Dear Lord, This day is among the most important since you blessed our people with an exceptional nation, under God, governed according to a Constitution that guarantees unalienable rights bestowed upon us by You.

The prospect that the majority in the U.S. Senate may be intent on radically “transforming” our country and its governing institutions adds further urgency to pending decisions about the 2020 presidential election. If both legal and illegal votes are allowed to determine its outcome, we may never again have free and fair elections – effectively dooming representative government and imperiling freedom.

Please give discernment, persuasiveness and courage to those in Congress who will make the case today for restoring electoral integrity and safeguarding our Republic. And help our people respond to the call to support them in doing so.

Late yesterday, the New York Stock Exchange reversed a recently announced plan to delist three giant telecom companies associated with the Chinese Communist Party and its military. Evidently, it did so after consultations with the Treasury Department, whose Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, has actively opposed President Trump’s Executive Order to bar U.S. investors from putting their funds into such entities. 

By signaling that Americans can continue business as usual with CCP companies until November, Treasury has unilaterally undermined the President’s decision. The State Department and Pentagon, which have been commendably very clear about the imperative need to stop our underwriting of People’s Liberation Army-tied businesses, were apparently blindsided.

Joe Biden may be happy to have Americans invest in our enemies. Donald Trump clearly is not. And his administration needs faithfully to enforce this President’s national security-minded direction.

Thanks to Senator Josh Hawley, evidence that electoral grand larceny occurred in the 2020 presidential race will finally be scrutinized by the U.S. House and Senate. The Missouri Republican yesterday joined Rep. Mo Brooks and other legislators in declaring an unwillingness to certify an Electoral College outcome based on illegal, as well as legal, votes.

Sen. Hawley’s announcement was reinforced by stunning testimony in the Georgia State Senate Wednesday. Inventor Jovan Pulitzer showed how optical scanning could rapidly detect illegal ballots, then revealed that his team had hacked into and was monitoring in real time vulnerable voting systems being used in Georgia’s run-off elections.

Senator Hawley deserves the thanks of every American whose future will be determined by whether our elections – starting with this year’s presidential one – are free and fair. Go to EveryLegalVote.com to insist that his colleagues accept nothing less.

For weeks, partisans, politicians and most especially the media have insisted on promoting a false narrative – and “cancelling” both information to the contrary and those deeply troubled by it.

The false narrative is that there’s no evidence of electoral larceny in the 2020 presidential race – or at least none that would have made a difference. Ronald Reagan operationalized his strategy for defeating the Soviet Union with a focused effort to cut off its cash-flow. The USSR’s successor as this country’s greatest existential threat to freedom, the Chinese Communist Party, has gone to great lengths to avoid the same fate at the hands of Reagan’s successor: Donald Trump.

Specifically, the CCP employed its own vast capabilities and those of its friends in Wall Street, Washington and myriad front groups across America to oppose Mr. Trump’s reelection and to try to install in the White House “old friends” of China.

Mr. Trump’s administration, however, has just taken a page out of the Reagan playbook. It decisively reaffirmed a recent Executive Order that will henceforth deny Chinese military-tied companies the vital cash-flow they have been allowed to garner from U.S. capital markets. Such sanctions can help assure that we win, they lose.
