For months now, the Chinese Communist Party has been brazenly intensifying the threat it poses to the democratically elected, pro-U.S. government of Taiwan.

Has this campaign to coerce the island’s submission to Beijing been synchronized with the Party’s one-two punch against us of a literally “viral” attack on this country and Communist China’s brazen intervention in our presidential race aimed at defeating Donald Trump? Not clear. What is, though, is that the PRC is poised to seize this moment to go for it in Taiwan.

The latest indicator is the announcement Saturday of the completion of a new high-speed railroad line to facilitate travel across the Taiwan Strait. This means even more force can quickly be brought to bear against America’s vital regional friend with little or no warning. God help both of our countries if it happens on Joe Biden’s watch.

Chinese Communist Party regulators have just implicitly confirmed strong warnings against investing in China issued by Trump administration officials and independent experts like former Reagan advisor Roger Robinson.

Beijing’s investigations of wrongdoing by Alibaba and Ant Group – conglomerates associated with billionaire Jack Ma and favorites of Wall Street – validate the inadvisability of American underwriting of non-transparent and unaccountable Chinese companies.  

The CCP crackdown on Ma’s enterprises is clearly politically motivated. He dared to criticize China’s financial system and is being punished for it. But such an official take-down can happen to any Chinese company at any time. And U.S. investors generally have no recourse if they suffer costly losses as a result.

President Trump and his team are right to have acted to impede CCP fundraising in our capital markets, especially for those helping it oppress the Chinese people and threaten ours.

In a rare press conference yesterday, Joe Biden demonstrated the dangerous convergence of radical ideology and policy incoherence that is likely to characterize an administration he and/or Kamala Harris might lead.

The former Vice President reaffirmed his commitment to undo President Trump’s initiatives that have greatly reduced illegal immigration across the nation’s southern border – including by dismantling “the Wall,” but warned that the timing of this wrecking operation had to take into account the predictable result: namely, “two million people” trying to get into our country.

That prospect should be called “the Biden effect,” one exacerbated by his promise to give amnesty and citizenship to illegal aliens, among other benefits. Rep. Mo Brooks observed on “Securing America” yesterday, that millions of such aliens voted illegally for Biden. The cost to the rest of us of his payback would be incalculable.

Joe Biden’s compromise by the Chinese Communist Party is likely to result in a wholesale – and reckless – make-over of U.S. policy towards our country’s most dangerous enemy ever. Look no further than his team’s proposal to collaborate with China in space.

The CCP already deploys vast numbers of spies, agents of influence and cyberwarriors to obtain sensitive technology and proprietary information from Americans. Such expropriation costs us as much as $600 billion per year. And it is contributing to Xi Jinping’s bid to secure decisive commercial and military advantages over us.

That problem would be vastly intensified, however, if a formal channel were to be established for transferring high tech know-how and products from the inherently dual-use U.S space industrial sector to Beijing and its programs for using control of outer space to dominate the earth.

That must not happen.

The Financial Times and other media outlets have exposed an insidious, last-minute effort by Wall Street insiders to sabotage one of Donald Trump’s most important countermeasures to the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party.

In an executive order issued last month, the President blocked indexes and Exchange Traded Funds from investing our money in Communist Chinese military companies and their subsidiaries. Some of those affected have begun dumping PLA stocks.

Unfortunately, one of China’s “old friends” from Wall Street is Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. And his department is frantically trying to eviscerate Mr. Trump’s Executive Order. The good news is that Mnuchin’s efforts to allow continued underwriting of this mortal threat from China is being strongly opposed by patriots in the Pentagon and State Department.

Now that Mnuchin’s gambit has been revealed, surely President Trump will reject it – as he must.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes is best known as the leader of a radical House microcaucus dubbed “the Squad.”  Emboldened by the prospect of a like-minded presidency, its members are increasingly brazenly pushing a revolutionary, anti-America agenda that warrants calling them henceforth “the Four Harridans of the Apocalypse.”

AOC made news yesterday by endorsing a purge of the Congressional Democratic leadership. No surprise there: She’s been pushing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi around for two years and long been expected to primary Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in 2022.

Requiring urgent repudiation, though, is AOC’s call for a list of Trump supporters targeted for retaliation. Ditto: Ilhan Omar’s radical program for a Biden-Harris administration’s first hundred days; Rashida Tlaib’s Muslim Brotherhood-endorsed calls for trashing Trump’s successful Mideast policy; and Ayanna Pressley’s demands for open borders.

We must thwart these truly apocalyptic ambitions.

Joe Biden is a man who surely would qualify as a “old friend” of Communist China. Even if he were not deeply compromised by his and son Hunter’s business dealings with Beijing, his commitment to the PRC’s “rise” is longstanding and ominous.

That’s also true of most of his selections for senior national security and foreign policy positions in a Biden-Harris administration. His proposed Secretary of Defense, Gen. Lloyd Austin, doesn’t have much of a record on China, but virtually all of the other choices do. And many manifest wishful thinking, strategic ineptitude and/or serial appeasement concerning the Chinese Communist Party.

One of the Trump presidency’s most vital accomplishments to date is its recognition that the CCP is our mortal enemy. We cannot afford to indulge in a so-called “Great Reset” that imperils our country and people by pretending otherwise.

The evidence continues to accumulate that the Chinese Communist Party is our time’s existential threat to freedom. For example, Australia has just revealed a leaked list of nearly two million CCP spies now operating worldwide.

So why on earth are American investors continuing to have their money invested in this enemy by Wall Street?

The short answer is that “Beijing’s Bankers” are paid handsomely by the CCP to secure funds for its military companies and others that threaten our national security and human rights values.

To his great credit, President Trump has taken extraordinary measures to end this practice of U.S. underwriting of our enemy. For example, he issued an Executive Order blocking indexes and Exchange Traded Funds from investing in “Communist Chinese Military Companies.”

Today, the Electoral College is expected to make a man deeply compromised by the Chinese Communist Party the President-elect of the United States. When most Americans voted last fall, they were unaware of Joe Biden’s exploitable family ties to CCP business interests and operatives.

That’s because the media refused to report on hard evidence of this national security threat before the election, instead promoting false, but deflecting, narratives about “Russian disinformation” advanced by the candidate and his partisans.

Now, news organizations are finally confirming that the Bidens have a serious China problem. Unfortunately, it seems so does his running mate, Kamala Harris – a radical leftist product of the same CCP-penetrated San Francisco political machine that has compromised Eric Swalwell, Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi.

Before a Biden – or Harris – administration is installed, we need clarity on how the Chinese Communist Party will benefit.
