Here at Island ECC, we naturally associate “Seek First” with Matthew 6:33. It’s easy to remember because it’s also our street number. But Seek First is more about 18-12 than 6-3-3: Matthew 18:12 tells us that our Good Shepherd leaves the 99 to seek after the one sheep that’s gone astray. Before we seek His kingdom, it’s God who seeks us first, and outreach is our response to His love.
